Akira's POV

I all but run to the nearest McDonalds, but I slow down when I see a gigantic crowd of screaming teenage girls blocking the door. What the hell?! Is Justin Bieber in there ordering a Big Mac or something? It'll take me forever to get through that crowd. I've never seen Beliebers this crazy, so it can't be Justin Bieber fans. Who ever is in there must be really famous, and I'm talking Beyoncé famous. Well, I guess it's a good thing that I know the manager. I take out my phone and call him. I hope that he's not busy because I'm really craving a McFlurry and some cookies. I start humming Pink's 'Just Give Me A Reason' as I wait for him to pick up the phone.

"Hello?" Yes! He answered.

"Hey, Alex! Can you come let me in through the back door? There's a crowd of screaming girls out front and I can't get in." He hesitated.

"I don't know Akira. Only employees are supposed to go through that door." I huff. Why does he have to always follow the rules?

"Oh come on, Alex! I am your best friend. We've been friends since grade school. You know I wouldn't have asked you if it wasn't an emergency craving. Besides, I ran into Prada today and she called my teddy Bear ugly." I pout. I cross my fingers, hoping that he'll say yes.

"Okay, just this one time. Only because you had to deal with Prada though."

"Yay! Thanks Alex." I throw my arms around him and squeal. Alex quickly shushes me.

"Akira be quiet, and you better not tell anyone about this." I pat him on the cheek as walk in.

"Don't worry, I won't rat you out." I zip my lips and pretend to throw away the key.

"I'm serious Akira. I could get fired for this." Whoa, he actually did look serious. This is a first. We always joked around with each other. I just shrug his strange behavior off. I guess this means no more sneaking into McDonalds through the back door.

"Kay." I quickly run inside, away from the camera posted above the door. Stepping out of the restroom for disguise, I make my way to the counter. Just seeing the menu lifts my spirits again. The cashier looks miserable. Oh well, sucks to be her.

"Can I have medium fries, M&M McFlurry and three chocolate chip cookies, please?" I ask politely.

"Wow, eat much?" She mutters under her breath. What the hell did she just say? Whatever. I'm not gonna let her ruin my day today. She's just jealous because she has to work on a day like this. Too bad for her.

"Oh and can you also add 2 McChickens?" She glares at me but I just smile innocent at her.

"Sure!" She says sarcastically. "That'll be $10.43"

Bonus! I made her day worse! Maybe she won't be such a bitch to her customers next time. . . And not to get on my bad side. I pay with a twenty, collect my change and head over to one of the tables. Pulling up my Facebook app on my phone, I scroll down my news feed. Ew, Prada is doing selfies again. She has posted another pic of herself with barely any clothes on under the caption 'Lazy day today. Don't plan on getting out of bed :)' Lying whore. I just saw her like 10 minutes ago. I scowl at the my phone for a few seconds in disgust. Why do I even have her as a friend on Facebook. I switch to the Instagram app, maybe I can get away from her there.
No such luck.

She's all over Instagram too. Dang, how many pictures does this girl need?!

"Two McChickens, M&M McFlurry, medium fries and three chocolate chip cookies" the guy who cooks the food calls out. Finally! I was tired of seeing that slut on my screen. When I walk up to get my order the guy looks a little surprised that I have the big order, but I didn't really care. All that mattered was that I got my McFlurry and cookies. I thanked him and walk out in a ridiculously good mood.

My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard
And their like, it's better than yours
Damn right, it's better than yours
I could teach you, but I'd have to charge

I quickly pull up the text message, which keeps the rest of the ringtone from playing. A middle aged couple looks at me weirdly, I keep walking and quickly look back down at my phone, blushing. I'm gonna kill Lilly the next time I see her, she's always changing my ringtones.

Omg! I can't believe I forgot about her boyfriend's birthday party tonight!

Of course babe! Why wouldn't I be? Are you doubting my awesomeness

I just smile at my phone. I love Lilly like a sister. I love how crazy she is and all our weird conversations. We do everything together. Well, not EVERYTHING but you get the point. We've pretty much been attached at the hip since Pre-K. She is the the salt to my pepper, the green to beans. We watch out for each other, have each other's back. Sometimes she forgets how beautiful she is, but I make sure to remind her.

I was in my own little world when I ran into a what felt like a freight train. What the fudge was that? I sat up holding my head and looked down at myself. My precious food! It was all scattered on the ground, even my McFlurry. I slowly stood up to face whatever (or whoever) had hit me, feeling like I could melt steel with my glare.
