Safe heaven

Harry's P.O.V.

We just pulled up to a huge house right outside of Manhattan. My stomach was full of butterflies. I usually don't get nervous this much. We quickly get put of the car and I walk over toward Erica, I quickly wipe my hands on my pants removing the sweat from my palms. I take a hold of her hand and she gives me a small reassuring smile and her parents lead us to the door.

"They will love you" she whispers to me as the front door opens.

"You're here!" A small women cheers.

Erica's parents hug the women and head inside to be greeted by a older man.

"Erica!" She chimes again.

"Hey gran!" Erica answered sweetly before embracing her grandmother.

"I've missed you so much." She says pulling away.

"I've missed you too gran."

"Oh and this must be Harry! Your mother can't stop talking about him!" She says pulling me into a hug.

"All good this of course." She says ushering us inside.

We all converse as the rest of the Kennedy family arrives. Erica leads me around introducing me to all her aunts, uncles, and most of her cousins.

I'm now standing talking to her and a couple of her uncles as she disappeared off somewhere. I notice her walking over toward me with a weird grin on her face.

"Hey" she says wrapping her hands around my arm. We excuse our selfs and walk down a hallway toward the kitchen.

"So this dinner just became a little bit awkward." She said with a laugh.

"What do you mean?" Laugh as she continues.

"Okay so you know how my mom said my cousin Conor got a new girlfriend?" I nod waiting for her to
continue.

"Well.... You won't believe this." She says asking her head laughing.

"Come on who is it!" I say tickling her sides.

"Okay okay stop!" She says between laughs. I stop.

"It's Taylor!" My mouth drops a little,

"Swift?!" I ask and she nods.

"Oh my god" I say bursting out in laughter. We laugh for a couple minutes. Until Mrs. Kennedy call us in for dinner.

We walk together hand in hand into the dinning room.Taylor takes a double look over in our direction and turns back around to Conor.

We walk over to the table and I pull Erica's chair out next to her grandmother, she happily sits down. I notice Taylor's eyes on us as she takes a seat right across from us.

"Awkward" I whisper into Erica's ear as I push her in. She giggles and I gladly sit next to her.
We all get served our dinner and everyone is off in their own conversations. I notice Taylor isn't talking to anyone on, she seems to be avoid talking like she's really nervous or something.

"So Taylor how are you?" I ask taking a bite of food. She looks up a bit surprised. Erica looks up at her as well with a smile on her face and she looks a bit surprised.

We all talk for a while before Erica's grandmother calls for all the cousins to particle in an Easter egg hunt.

"I'm sorry" Erica says as we walk hand in hand around the land outside the house looking for Easter eggs.

"Why?" I say with a confused expression.
"Well this is kind of lame don't you think?"

"No, I think it adorable how you guys are so close." I say with a smile. We continue the evening and I wouldn't change a thing. Everything seemed to be perfect. We found a load of eggs and we ended up giving most of them to Erica's littler cousins. I had a great time.

Erica's P.O.V.

"Don't forget to call honey!" Gran says handing Harry and I a small Easter basket filled with candy.

"I will I promise." I say pressing a kiss to her cheek. We all pile back into my parents car and we start the journey back to my house. We travel in a comfortable silence with the radio playing softly. Everyone exhausted from a day full of family.

I look down in my lap and watch as Harry plays with my fingers. I look up and over at him and see him smiling at me. I just chuckle and shake my head. I find myself staring out the window watching as we pass many cars on the highway. I feel Harry's phone vibrate he releases my hand and pulls it out of his pocket. I sit up from resting on Harry and look at him. I take in his consecrated face as he studies the text before him. He finally sighs and looks over at me.

"What's wrong?" I ask a bit worried.

"Well... You can't hate me of I tell you" he says.

"I would never hate you" I say with a shy smile.

"Paul just texted me and he says management wants us on the next flight to Paris" me says handing me his phone. I read over the text and nod.

"Did they say why?" I asks handing it back.

"No, they probably just wants us for some extra interviews. I'm sorry we have to leave so soon." He says a bit disappointed.

"Harry it's fine I promise. It's our job" I'm not going to lie I was a little bummed that we have to leave so early. But I'll get over it I mean I am getting paid to travel the world with the people I love.

"Okay.." He said as we pull up to my house.

We explain to my parents our situation and they are very understanding. I think it was hard for them to see me leave again. They haven't been the same lately. They have called me at least twice a day to make sure I was okay.

"Well are you ready?" Harry asks pulling me from my thoughts. I nod and stand from my bed. I follow him downstairs with my luggage in hand.

We say our goodbyes and climb into the car to the airport. I could tell Harry didn't want to leave so soon, also I could tell he was exhausted. I watch him as his head is pressed to the car window and his thumb scrolls on the screen. I take his free hand and hold it, I rest my head on him. I felt a hot tear fall from my eye. Why am I crying? I have no idea. I quickly wipe it away as we pull up to the airport.

As soon as we make our way through security we headed straight to our gate. We wanted to get on that plane as fast as we could because we both knew at any moment we both could collapse from sleep exhaustion.

We finally make our way to our seats and the plane is rather empty. Harry plops down next to me and leans on my shoulder, I rest my head on his.

"How did I get so tried so fast?" He half laughs.

After we take off the sky is already taken over by the night sky. The flight attended start handing out sleeping mask, blankets and pillows. I glance over at Harry and he has his sleeping mask in but he is sitting straight up.

"What are you going?" I chuckle out.

"Peek a boo!" He cheers lifting the mask off his face. I just laugh at his actions.

"You're so strange!" I laugh out.

"But you love it!" He says before pressing a sweet kiss to my lips.

"That I do." I say before reconnecting our lips. "Now go to sleep! Your going to be a bear tomorrow!" I scold.

"Yes master!" He laughs as he places his blanket over both of us. He pulls me as close as possible and we both fall asleep.

"Hey.." I feel Harry whisper into my ear, I ignore him and keep my eyes closed.
"Erica....wake up." He says pressing a kiss to my cheek. I still ignore him I'm so tired. He continues to kiss me all over my face and it's getting quite annoying.

"Go away I'm sleeping." I say sleepily.

"But we are going to land soon love." He say as he stops kissing me. I open my eye a little bit and peek out at him.

"No" I say shortly.

"Yes!" He says before attacking my side tickling me.

"Fine I'm up!" I say shooting up and stretching my arms out."how much longer?" I ask readjusting myself in my seat.

"About an hour and a half" he says shyly biting his lip.

"What?! Why did you wake me up?!"

"I missed you and I was bored."

"How are awake?"

"I always sleep well when in with you!" He says cheekily, I roll my eyes and continue talking to Harry as the flight carries on.

Harry's P.O.V.

We finally landed in Paris and went to the hotel. I'm currently out with the guys for a interview and to just have some time to ourselves in the city. Erica stayed back at the hotel and is relaxing.

"How was your break Harry?" Niall asked as we walk around the city.

"It was great mate! Her family is lovely, saw someone I knew actually." I say shoving my hands in my pockets.

"Really? Who?" He says as Liam and the othe other take pictures around the Effie tower.

"Believe it or not it was Taylor." I say chuckling. I look over at him and he looks confused.

"Swift?!" He says dumbfounded. I nod. "Awkward" he says before joining the others.

We spend a lot if time taking pictures, but we fail miserable. After awhile we head out for lunch. We talk about just random things and just have a good laugh. This is really fun I thinks it's good that Erica and I spend some time away from each other, I don't want us to consistory be all over each other.

We all head back to the hotel after a huge lunch. I find myself wiped out. As I walk into the room I find it empty. I notice a note sitting on the pillow. I pick it up and read it.

Hey babe, I went out shopping with Lou be back soon. Love you! xo Erica.

A smile creeps on my face and I sluggishly make my way to the shower.

After my shower I crawl into the king size bed and pull the covers over me. I flip through the channels and end on some random one. As I try to focus on the show my eyelids grow heavy and I slip into unconsciousness.

Erica's P.O.V.

I happily make my way back to our hotel room after I make sure Lou and baby lux got to theirs alright. I slide my room key in and open the door. I set down my things and walk into the sleeping area. A smile slowly creeps on my face as I see Harry passed out across the bed. I decide to change and join him in his slumber.

As I put the last of my clothing from today away I walk over to the bed.

"Shit." I whisper to myself as I grab my throbbing toe. I glanceat Harry to see if he has awoken. His eyes squint and a grin is plastered on his face.

"I'm sorry." I state as I crawl in next to him.

"It's okay love I don't mind." He chuckles allowing me to climb into his arms. I rest my head against his chest and smile to myself.

After a few moments of chatting about our day i notice Harry looking very tired.

"You know you can go back to sleep right?" I say.

"Yea I know but I rather be talking to you." He says pressing a kiss to my nose.

We talked for about another hour before Harry dozed off again. I lay here and play with a single curl on his head. I soon found myself growning tired and decided that I should also get some sleep.
