Over Again

I see Chloe as I get out off my bus, and run after her.
"HIIII!!!" I scream in her ears as she nearly screams.
"HA! I scared you mission accomplished." I say.
Then, thinking fast, she sighs loudly and stops. Then quickly a smile playing on her lips, she smacks my bum. I scream loudly.
"YOU!!! You WILL pay for that!" I say, happy to be in our old, crazy habits. I know the butt- smacking seems really crazy, but it's just so much fun! It's like an inside joke with no particular joke to it- just tradition since the year before last :)
Chloe just smirks at me, and I decide to let this one slip.
"Let's go check the homeroom list", Chole says as we open the double- doors into our school.
It's actually pretty fancy, and really expensive too. My Dad's company pays for it, but yeah.
I quickly run up to the bulletin board clearly labeled "GRADE 9". I look around for my name- Jenna River, but also Chloe Fisher and Ashley Davey- my two besties. I've been here for three years, but I've only known Ashley and Chloe for two. The first was just boring, because I was just looking for the perfect friends. I did make really good friends that year, don't get me wrong, and I'm still friends with them, but they aren't, you know, completely right for me.
I know most people in our grade, all of them actually, and it's pretty common for people to come and leave our school, so I wondered who was new... Then, I saw some incredibly cute boys come through the double doors of our school. I'm not like obsessed with boys, but, these boys. OMFG
Ashley, always blunt , would probably be swooning over them, even though she already has a boyfriend. His name's John but everyone calls him Joey. Honestly, I think he's pretty stupid, just like most boys in our grade, but she likes him. Which brings me back to the thought, if those are in our grade, I just hope that they aren't stupid. But something tells my that they aren't stupid, but rather the opposite. Just as I'm thinking, Chloe asking me, "Are the three of us in the same homeroom?",which we were, when one of the boys looks right at me, his hair super dark and curly, with dark brown eyes, and smiles a very dimpled grin. I just start to smile back when Chloe looks at him, sighs, and pulls me away, saying "I thought you didn't swoon over boys!"
Just as I look back, him turning his back to me, talking to one of the four boys beside him, I think
"This year may not be that bad..."
