There was a day in fourth grade when I lost my patience. I had been dancing in the corner in dance class, and in any other show from Mother's Day to Christmas while Cailey did her "irreplaceable" dance moves in the first row. She was the center of attention all the time even when we had to dance in a circle. She always danced with the cute guys and I had to dance with Frederick ( a bald, obese kid). Once, Frederick fell on my leg and I had to go to the nurse after that.

She was not only the center of attention in dance class,but in Music,and in Drama class, and Art, too. Somehow, everyone loved her,and she loved everyone except for me. Cailey was very conceited,and spoiled just like her little sister, Gina. There was a rule of no wearing hats in school,and it applied to everyone except for Cailey. She wore a tiara to school every day. I think that the only reason why I hated her so much was because she stole my friends. Jackie Jufferpot also bullied me, but I didn't hate her as much as I hated Cailey. I wasn't popular anymore,but I was. It was strange because people like Louis, David,and Harry still included me whenever there was a cool kids reunion.

I had never ever fought with Melissa or Charlotte before and I didn't want to. To this day, I still haven't fought with Melissa;not even once. I did fight with Charlotte, though.

It was a windy, mid-January day and I had taken my diary to school for the first time. My day was perfect and normal until I heard Charlotte and some other girls with Cailey talking about a fat, grade- obsessed girl in 4C. At first, I wondered who it could be. I got a little closer without them knowing, but then I heard something I wish I hadn't heard.

"She was crying because Louis didn't like her" Charlotte said.

"She cries for everything! She should be crying about her weight instead of Louis because he will NEVER like her" another girl said.

"Girls,Girls stop it" Cailey said.

The other girls stared at her with eyes full of confusion but Cailey added something unexpected.

" Camille is a hippo! She can cry about whatever she wants because no one will ever love her! She doesn't have friends and if she does it's because she paid them. I feel sorry for her because it must be hard to weigh that much. She can't even walk like that.." Cailey said.

Tears fell down my rosy cheeks and I just waited to see if Charlotte did anything. All she did was laugh and I couldn't help it anymore.

" The only reason I cry is because of your face. I might be fat,and boys will never notice me, but I have something that you don't. I have the guts to tell someone my opinion in front of them instead of talking about them behind their backs" I couldn't help it and cried. After a minute I say down and wiped my tears.

"Oh and Charlotte, thanks for spreading rumors about me! Now people will have a new joke to add to their book." I said.

She looked ashamed but walked past me without any words,but with a nasty smirk on her face.

Hours later, I got the little note I was talking about the other day. It said:

"I don't want to be your best friend anymore. I don't have time for buying fat girls pizzas." It had a little tag that said Charlotte and a candy taped inside.

Notes
