NIALL
The boys and I were just hanging around our shared flat, playing Mario Kart. Things were getting pretty intense when a knock on our door echos throughout the flat. Zayn and I both get up, and leave to answer the door.

We open the door to reveal...Uncle Simon.

"Hey Simon, how's it going?" I ask him.

"I'm good Niall, can I come in?" He asks.

"Of course" Zayn says, moving out of the way, welcoming him in.

We walk back to the living room then sit down on the couches. Liam gets up and shuts off the game, getting groans from Harry and Louis.

"Oh, hello" Louis and Harry say at once when they see Simon.

"Hi boys, we need to talk, after we're done talking I'm bringing you somewhere" Uncle Si explains.

"Where?" Louis asks curiously.

"We'll get there" Simon chuckles, then getting on with what he's saying "You see, we need to do more charity work since nothing else really became huge, so...you're going to adopt a child".

"What? I'm only 18!" Harry yells.

"That's why Louis' going to be the guardian, since he's 21" Simon explains "And Harry, you're turning 19 in February".

Harry nods, and sits back down.

"How are we supposed to take care of a child?" I ask.

"She's not going to be young, she's going to be almost an adult, around 16 or 17" Simon answers.

"Oh" I sigh, still unsure of all of this.

"Well, let's head over to the adoption agency" Simon exhales, getting up, being followed by the rest of us.

JORDIE
It was just a regular day at the agency, I was taking care of the younger kids and the new kids, helping them get used to the fact that their parents are no longer with them, and how a new, better family will soon come and take good care of them.

"JORDIE! ANSWER THE DOOR PLEASE!" Ms. Emilie yells.

"OK!" I shout back.

I walk over to the door and open it to reveal...Simon Cowell and...One Direction?

"Hey there" I greet them.

"Hello, is Ms. Emilie here?" Simon asks.

"Yep, just sec" I answer "Come in and follow me".

I begin walking, turning to check if they're following, which they are. I keep walking until we reach Ms. Emilie's office. Ms. Emilie is one of the kindest lady anyone would ever meet. She tried to convice the owner of the agency to adopt me, but she's not aloud. She treats everyone like family.

"Oh, hello. How may I help you?" Ms. Emilie asks, once she notices Simon Cowell and One Direction at the door.

"We're here to look for someone to adopt, around the ages of 15-17" Simon explains.

My eyes practically bulge out of their sockets, I'm the only one between those ages, I'm 17 to be exact.

"Well you'll be happy to know that the only one is right there" Ms. Emilie says, pointing at me.

The boys turn around and smile at me. I inspect every one of them, even Simon Cowell. I should be excited that they're adopting me, but the same thought that I get every time someone wants me, runs through my head: Will they abuse me?

Every single family that wants to adopt or foster me does, so I guess I'm used to it. I told that to Ms. Emilie and she said that's something nobody should get used to.

"What's your name, girl?" Simon asks with a smile on his face.

"Jordan Lee, but call me Jordie" I say, smiling sweetly, pulling out my hand from my back pocket to shake his hand, which he gracefully shakes.

"She's perfect" Simon says, turning his head around to face Ms. Emilie.

"Ok, you'll have to go through a one month foster time, just to make sure she's suitible for your lifestyle, which she will probably be ok with, but it's the rules, so Mr. Cowell, you can sign here to become the guardian" Ms. Emilie explains, handing him a form.

"Oh no, I'm not going to be the guardian, Louis is" Simon says, motioning for Louis.

"Is he over the age of 20?" Ms. Emilie asks.

"21!" Louis says.

"Ok then Louis, sign here".

With that, the papers were signed and I will be with them for a month, if things go well, the rest of my life.
