On The Cross

As soon as we made our way down stairs the door flung open, “sorry we’re late!” Louis called out, Harry let go of my hand to welcome them, “this is Holly, Holly this is Louis, Liam, Zayn and Niall” he said motioning to each one of them, I laughed “ye I know who they are”, Niall approached me “not going to wince in pain if I hug you are you?” he laughed, “no it’s ok” I said as he gave me a light hug, the rest of the guys followed Niall’s action. “So glad you’re ok now, Holly” Liam said, I gave him a funny look, “I was with Harry at the club, I guess he told you about me?” he said, “ye he did, I didn’t realise everyone knew about the incident at the club though”, I must have looked embarrassed, “Harry tells us a lot. Whips and chains, mmm very kinky” Louis winked at me cheekily. “They don’t know the full details though, they’re just messing with you, ignore them” Harry laughed. Harry punched Louis in the arm as we all went through to the living room.

“I would ask what you have been up to this morning but I’m too scared to ask” Zayn laughed, I’m guessing they find all this really funny. “We haven’t actually been doing anything, I did catch Holly in the music room though, she could definitely rival Niall’s guitar playing, and if any of you piss me off I’ve found your replacement in the band” Harry laughed, “gee thanks Harry, are you really that good Holly?” Liam asked, “I don’t know, not really I’m more of a dancer than a singer” I said, “she’s being modest” Harry said as he put his arm protectively over my shoulder. Even though we weren’t supposed to be in the sub/dom role when there were people around I could still sense his claim over me, it’s was actually quite nice. “We should play a game to get to know each other better” Louis suggested, “ok but if you choose truth or dare, we’re not playing” Harry said, clearly referring to me and him. “Fine spoil sport, how about 20 questions” Louis suggested. “Good idea” Niall said excitedly. “Well we clearly already know each other, so how about we ask you the questions first Holly and then you can ask any one of us questions?” Liam suggested, “ye ok that makes sense.” I said.

“Holly, how old are you?”
“21”

“What do you do for a living?”
“I’m a dance instructor and choreographer”

“Cool, are you a fan of One Direction?”
“Ye, but not a crazy obsessed fan”

“How long did your last relationship last for?”
“Um…6 months”

“Who was it?”
“James…the guy who….well you know”

“Who taught you to sing, dance and play the guitar?”
“I went to a performing arts college, so I guess my teachers”

“Were you a good student?”
“Not really”

“How come?”
“I had a habit of not always doing what I was told”

“Have you broken that habit then?”
I laughed. “I don’t know, maybe ask me in a few days”

I felt like I was being interviewed.

“What’s your favourite food?”
“Um…I don’t know I’m not that picky…..pretty much anything with meat in”

“What’s your favourite drink?”
“I have a weakness for wine I guess”

“Do you have a close relationship with your parents?”
“Yes I do, I moved out when I was 18 to go to university but I speak to them pretty much every few days.”

“Do you have any siblings?”
“I have a younger brother, he’s 18”

“Do you get on?”
“Yes, apart from when his friends are hitting on me” I laughed

“You said your are a fan….so whose your favourite?”

Seriously they can’t ask me that….can they?

“Umm I don’t know….I always had a thing for Harry”

“Well that’s lucky” Louis laughed.

“What’s the craziest thing you have ever done?”

I had to think about this, I had done a few.

“I have done a few crazy things”

“What have you done?”
“Bungee jumping, Skydiving, hang gliding, swam with sharks, made out with my best girlfriend, got drunk and trashed a hotel room with Demi Lovato, organised a bikini car wash at university, um……want me to go?” I laughed.

“Wow, you’re way more adventurous than I thought” Harry laughed

“Again you never asked” I gave him a challenging look.

“Ohh Haz you have a handful here” Liam laughed.

They continued to ask me some more questions like when I was first kissed, what my favourite colour was etc.

I didn’t really know what to ask the guys as to be fair you can find out a lot about One Direction on the internet. I asked some simple questions that I didn’t know, like what they liked to do in their private time; obviously I already knew what Harry and Liam liked though.

We spent the rest of the day chatting and getting to know each other; I could tell that I was going to get on well with guys. “Well we better go Harry it’s getting late, nice to meet you Holly!” Niall said as he hugged me, slightly tighter this time, “you should totally come hang out with us whenever Harry lets you off your leash” Niall joked, “thanks Niall, ye that sounds good” I laughed.
