Your Brown Eyes

1/2

Zayn held his head in his hands in regret. He did nothing when she left, he just watched. He wished that he did something to fix what happened between them. 'I lost her, she's gone..' He thought to himself as he felt tears brim his chocolate brown eyes.

What was he going to do? He wanted her back, but he knew that she might not ever go back to him. He loved her so much that seeing her leave was the most painful thing for him. He'd never felt anything like that until now. He didn't want to feel like this again, so he had to get her back. No matter what.

It was as if time had stood still, and the world around him stopped spinning. He didn't know what to do without her, so being by himself for a few minutes felt like an eternity to him. She made everything more enjoyable for him. It didn't matter what he was doing; as long as he was with her, he had a blast.

He softly smiled to himself as he remembered the last time they were happy together. Tears were streaming down his face, but he didn't care, he loved thinking about being happy with her.

It was a beautiful day in the middle of April. Trees were growing, birds were chirping, and Zayn watched as his girlfriend, Khaos slept peacefully in his arms. He loved seeing her like this, beautiful, serene, angelic.

There was no denying that he loved her. He loved her laugh, her smile, her eveything. It was obvious that he would do anything to keep her happy.

She moved a little and he looked down to smile at her. Her eyes fluttered open before she returned the smile to him. "Good morning, beautiful." He said to her sweetly as he brushed a stay hair from her eyes. Oh, those eyes. They mesmerized him in ways that no other eyes could. He could stare into her eyes for hours and never get tired of them.

The two of them layed in bed saying nothing to each other. They always did this in the morning, so being silent was nothing out of the ordinary. Zayn kissed her forehead and she giggled. 'Oh, I adore her little giggle.' He thought to himself as he began showering her with kisses.

Those were better times for Zayn. He wants those back and he's going to get it back. He has to. Otherwise, he wouldn't know how to live without her.

Khaos drove away in her car, and thought about what had just happened. She left the man she's been with for the past two years. 'Did I do the right thing, or did I make a terrible mistake?' She thought to herself as she stopped at a red light. She wasn't sure if she should turn her car around and go back to him, or just keep driving. Half of her was screaming to go back, but she was doing her best to ignore it.

The more she thought about it, the more upset she became. She knew how much he loved her, and she loved him just as much. This had been building up for a while, and she wanted out. She may have loved him a lot, but it wasn't enough to make her stay.

Regret was starting to chew away at her and she couldn't take it anymore. She pulled her car over on the curb next to her house and burst into tears. She hated crying, but she knew it was good to let it out when needed be.

She cried and thought about her life with Zayn. Before things turned sour, she wasn't happy unless she was with him. It's not like she didn't want to be with him, she just couldn't take being around his lifestyle. The touring, the fans, the missed calls back and forth; she hated it. The only thing that made it bearable was seeing him smile. 'That smile used to make me do almost anything for him.'

Those days are over now. Whenever she thought of him smile, she wanted to melt, but she couldn't. Something in her wouldn't allow her to. She wants to go back to Zayn, but she can't. It pains her to be away from him, but she knows it's the right thing.

Zayn was starting to get angry by this time. 'Why? Why did she have to leave me? I did nothing but love her! How could she do this to me?' The thought of her being gone was enough to make him want to go over the edge. He didn't like being alone, in fact, he hated it. Now that she was gone he didn't know what to do with himself.

***

A few days had passed, and neither one of them spoke to each other. Zayn did nothing but feel sorry for himself and figure out what went wrong. He tried picking up the pieces of what was left, but there seemed to be nothing he could fix.

Khaos never left her house. She left once, to get some groceries, but even that was hard to do. She saw his face on multiple magazines, and seeing him brought back memories. Memories she was trying to forget.

They may have been good ones, but she had done nothing but think about him. She didn't want to have the thought of him travel through her head so much anymore. She misssed him, but she would never admit it to herself.

Finally, a week went by and Zayn was fed up. He wanted her, and he is going to get her. It doesn't matter what he has to do, he is determined to have her back with him.

Khaos didn't know what to do. Should she call him? Should she to talk to him face to face? Or should she just leave it alone with him? This crossed her mind multiple times and she was sick of it.

She realized that she couldn't be without him for too long before she did something she would regret. She knew very well what could hapen if she wasn't with him, and she was not willing to take that risk.

Zayn was just about to leave, when he thought that she might not want to see him again. Of course, this crossed his mind before, but never paid it much attention. He didn't want to.

He froze where he stood, but decided to go to her anyways. He can't go another day without seeing her face. He got in his car, and drove the quick ten minutes to her house. Before he was going to exit his car, his nerves started to get the best of him. He wanted to see her so badly, but he almost couldn't do it. He tried to get of his car more times than he could count, but he never did it. After what seemed like a hundred times of trying, he left.

Zayn walked up to her doorstep and right when he was about to knock on the door, it flew open. There she was. As gorgeous as ever. She didn't have any make-up on, or anything fancy, she was just beautiful the way she was. "Khaos," he breathed out quietly, but loud enough for her to hear him.
