Summer love

The sun sets as the dogs howl in the distance. I slowly open my bedroom door and walk to the back yard.
" tango! Let's go!" I shout as my dog walks up to me
"come one girl, let's get inside"
bugs follow us in the door.
" baby-doll come in here and get something to eat " mother says. I follow the smell of the rice and beans. Tango follows me in the kitchen as my mother makes me a plate.
" you need to fill up, we are about to leave. It's a long trip away"
" what ever"
i shove a fork in the food and put it in my mouth.
" alright, what wrong with you?" She mumbles putting her knife on the counter
" I don't know, maybe I just don't want to de around that dick that you call a boy friend!"
" Don't use that kind of language, especially about your father"
" mother, he dose not like me and I don't like him"
she sighs
"I know, just please try to deal with him"
"for the entire summer?!"
she nods as I run off to my room
