Chapter 3
Harry's POV
My phone was making that ridiculously annoying tone again. I reached over and grabbed it, putting it on silent. I groggily opened my eyes, checking the time. 5:30. I reached my arm over and started smacking Louis. Niall and Liam were sharing the bed in the guest room, and Zayn was sleeping on the couch in there. Louis was rooming with me.
"Louis. Go wake up Maddie." I said still hitting. I felt him get up from the bed.
"'Kay." He said yawning. I nuzzled back into my pillow and fell right bad to sleep.
Maddie's POV
I woke up to someone shaking my shoulder. I sleepily opened my eyes.
"Maddie, it's time to wake up." Louis said in a quiet voice. I groaned, putting my face in my pillow.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"It's about 5:30." He said.
"Shit." I said, bolting out of bed and over to my closet. I opened the door, looking for todays outfit. "Thanks for waking me up. Now get out." I said, rummaging through my clothes. I heard my door close. I hung my purple giraffe T-shirt and skinny jeans on my closet door before going back to the bed where Hunter and Lexi still slept.
"Get up guys. It's Five thirty." I said, shaking them. When I saw that they were awake, I grabbed my clothes and ran into my bathroom. I put two towels next to the shower as I turned on the cold water. I took cold showers in the morning. Steaming hot ones at night. I didn't bother locking the door, knowing that Hunter and Lexi would need to come in here any minute. I quickly Shampooed my hair, knowing that I had thirty less minutes than usual. I rinsed my hair and put my warm vanilla sugar body wash into a washcloth and began cleaning myself. I rinsed myself off and grabbed one towel from outside the shower and wrapped it around my body. I stepped out of the shower and wrapped the other towel around my hair.
I joined Lexi at the sink, where she was washing her face. Hunter was still picking an outfit from my closet. I started brushing my teeth as Hunter entered the bathroom in her outfit for today. She was wearing my Pink tanktop and her white cardigan that she always left over here, and a pair of my black skinny jeans. I spit and rinsed. I squirted my acne wash into my hands and rubbed it around my face. I wiped it off with a wet washcloth and dried my face on the hand towel. I plugged in my straightener as I took my hair out of the towel and wrung it out over the sink. I grabbed my outfit off the hook and started getting dressed. I went back over to the sink where Hunter had her hair pulled back and was working on her makeup, and Lexi was brushing out her hair.
I plugged in my blow dryer and started drying/brushing my hair. I thought it was a bit funny that all three of us wore glasses. I didn't need my glasses much, only for reading and for school, and I was glad. I hated how I looked with glasses. I brushed through my hair one last time and parted it the usual way. I took my straightener and started working on my hair. Hunter was finishing up her makeup and Lexi was already downstairs, probably getting some breakfast. I straightened my bangs and turned off and unplugged my straightener. I looked at the clock I had on the wall. It was 7:05. I quickly put on some eyeliner and mascara and some lipstick. I put on my glasses and turned off the light as I exited the bathroom. I ran down the hall and into Harry's room.
"Bye Harry. We're off to school." He groaned in response. I smiled and ran down the stairs. I sat at the barstools and began tying my converse. I grabbed my bookbag and slung it over one shoulder. I grabbed my keys off the bowl in the counter. It was now 7:10.
"What took you so long, Maddie?" Hunter asked, as we walked out the door.
"Woke up late." I said, climbing into the car and starting it up.
"Aren't you gonna eat breakfast?" Lexi asked, climbing in the back seat. I shook my head.
"I'm good." I said, pulling out of the driveway and down the road to school.
~6 hours of hell later~
We pulled into the driveway and exited the car. We walked inside, throwing our things on the kitchen table where Niall was having cereal, and he still looked to be in pajamas. I raised my eyebrows.
"Niall, when did you wake up?" I asked, sitting on the counter. He shrugged.
" 'bout twenty minutes ago." I nodded.
"Where are the other guys?" I asked, looking around. He took another bite of his cheerios before answering.
"Zayn's still sleeping, Liam's taking a walk, and Louis and Harry are playing video games in the living room." He said, going back to his breakfast. I nodded and grabbed an apple, going into the living room. I sat on the couch next to Harry, where he was having an intense battle with Louis. I flicked his ear. He moved his head away. Hunter and Lexi came in and sat next to me.
"Can I play?" I asked Harry. He laughed.
"Maddie, this would be much to complicated for you." I narrowed my eyes.
"You're saying that the girl a year ahead in three subjects and takes two extra courses, is to simple minded to play a video game?" I asked, taking his controller. "Who do you think played this the whole time you were gone?" I said, continuing the game against Louis.

"And, I win again." I said smiling and handing the controller back to Harry. "And he says I can't play video games." I said, walking out of the room with Lexi and Hunter. We went upstairs into my room and I layed on my stomach on the floor.
Harry's POV
We quietly went up the stairs after the girls. "We" was Louis, Niall, and I. I pressed my ear up against the door.
Maddie's POV
"I seriously might go tell Harry that all my friends are off limits to him. I mean, he can't chose who I can and can't be interested in." I said, reaching up to rub my eye when I realized I still had my glasses on. "Shit. I still had my glasses on." I said, taking them off and putting them on my nightstand.
"I don't see why you don't like them. They make you look smart." Lexi said, taking a peice of candy out of the stash I had put in front of us.
"I am smart." I said, popping a tootsie roll in my mouth. I laughed. "Harry obviously ain't tha bright though." I said to Lexi.
"Will you drop that?" She said hitting my arm.
"Why? He's seriously blind to not notice that you like him." I said, getting another sweet.
"He's also seriously blind to not have noticed your belly button peircing."
"He hasn't seen my stomach, so I can see why he hasn't noticed." I said.
Harry's POV
"He's also seriously blind to not have noticed your belly button peircing." I heard. My eyes widened and I threw open the door.
"Why didn't you tell me you got your belly button peirced?!" I said loudly.
"Were you eavesdropping?" Maddie asked, standing up and walking over to me.
"Um, I um." I stuttered.
"Did you stand outside my door and listen to our conversation, totally invading my privacy?"
"I-"
"I can't believe you would do that! Seriously Harry." She yelled, walking past me and out of the room, rushing down the stairs.
