well then this girl is really gone too deep in that meth. If only people knew what she does; If only people knew she wouldn’t be making herself all how she is now. The thing is I can’t tell the media because of an official agreement we have.
“Hey Babe what you doing?” ruby comes up to me.
“Oh nothing just talking to Simon through email about a few problems he’s having with universal.” I can’t tell her about Taylor at least not yet. I would get in so much legal trouble.
“Oh bummer, I hope that gets resolved. Alright babe well I’m off to work, do you want anything from Starbucks?” she asks me with the sweetest voice. I have no idea how ill cope the whole 10 weeks shes gone.
Im making it harder for myself. I am still going to be able to see her. Simon opened a new rule. That is that they can have weekends off. This means they can go out and about in the city, and it also means I can see her during the weekends. So stop mopping around Harry.
“Actually babe can u bring me the same drink from last time, and a muffin, muffin” I told her as I also winked.
“Oh Curly you’re so cheesy sometimes” she giggled. “Anything else?” she asked.
“Nope I’m no cheesy at all babes and no babe that’s all” I told her giving her that cheeky smile that makes her dimples come out. Score! There they are.
“Alright then I’ll see you in a bit” she kissed me in the cheek and walked towards the door.
**Evie’s POV**
So today Ruby decided she was going to prank us by making really spicy food. And she succeeded because she had us drinking water right away. The actual plate she cooked for us to enjoy was so good. Niall probably ate three plates, or maybe I just lost count.
“Hey Ni water you up to” I skipped towards him. He was sitting on the couch.
“Watching soccer games, since you Americans don’t know what Rugby is.” He says in a childish voice.
“You know Rubys cousin from texas played Rugby in high school” I told him.
“Oh really does he still play?” he asked me.
“I have no idea she said that he went off the grid and that her family doesn’t know a thing about him. It’s been a while.” I told him.
“Oh ok Manchester is playing.” He tells me and he focuses on the tv again.
Ruby doesn’t talk about her family a lot anymore. Her family sees her as the black sheep. I know it really hurts her but it is what motivates her. Her family thought she was going to end up at the bottom. Ruby is stronger than she seems on the outside. She can block things out and forget about things. That she convinces herself that it never happened. Sometimes she does it to much that she eventually cracks. Last time that happened was last year. She didn’t tell anyone when it happened, but she did tell me a few months after she was over it. She tried taking a few things to numb the pain, which didn’t succeed.
She tried hurting herself without leaving any marks or scars on herself. If I would’ve known this was happening to her I would’ve helped her get through it. She says she got over it and now sees it as a lesson learned.
“Hey Manchester is on against Brazil guys” I tell Zayn and Harry as they come down the stairs. They really do like ruby’s studio area. They have been working on tunes these past days.
“Awsome!” Zayn yells and sits between Niall and I.
I can feel Niall giving him a death glare because Zayn climbs over me and sits over with Harry.
“Hey wheres everyone else?” Harry asks.
“Louis and Liam are with the girls doing some shopping, which by the way the boys said that whenever you guys needed to have that group meeting to call them up.” I told the boys as they just said “Eh were too lazy.” Oh these boys.
“Do you guys want something to drink?” zayn gets up and heads towards the fridge.
“Beer me!” Harry says.
“Uhm you do know you can’t drink here in the US it’s illegal if you’re under the age of 21” I tell him and he pouts. He was mumbling who knows what in French I think.
“Fine Just bring me a vitamin water.” He says in a sad kiddy voice.
“So did Simon fix the issues at Universal?” I ask Harry.
“Yea I think it’s under control, he hasn’t emailed me back. So, I am guessing that he fixed it, or got us a different deal.” Harry says all happy. He really likes the idea of staying here.
**Ruby’s POV**

“Hi can I have a Caramel Macchiato frap” a customer said. As I was brought up to reality.

Alright Nelly it will be up in a few minutes alright, have a good day” I said in my most normal voice.
Whoever that number is that’s texting me must be just a random person. I don’t have anything to hide. Or do I?
This whole me blocking things out of my mind permanently really mess with my memory. I can’t remember some things in my past
“Hey can I go home early, I’m not feeling well.” I ask my manager. He is really nice. I’ve known him for a while.
“Yea sure Ruby you seem a bit pale. Go home rest get yourself checked up. I’ll cover the rest of your shift.”
“Alright thank you so much George, let me just get the drink harry wanted, I don’t want to worry Harry, coming home early and all confused.”
“Alright kid, I really hope you feel better, good thing you have weekend off so if you are coming up with something it’ll be gone by then.”
He is really nice to me every time. He’s like a big brother to me; I’ve known him probably since I was in elementary school.
Ok let’s go maybe I will clear my mind off while driving.

“Ruby watch ou-” I heard someone scream. That’s when I feel the stinging pain in my head. Why is everything so blurry? Who is yelling at me? I’m tired.
**George POV**
I saw the Audi coming. It wasn’t going to stop. It didn’t stop. Oh no Ruby! All I hear now is sirens. I ran to her after I immediately closed down the shop.
“Ruby, Ruby can you hear me” I kept yelling at her she kept moaning. “Don’t fall asleep ok Ruby. C’mon stay awake”
That stupid person who did this better get caught because who would do this. She wasn’t having a good day which was the reason she was leaving early, and now this happens.
Sirens got here. “Her name is Ruby she’s 18 she got run over, the car disappeared, Audi coupe, blue rims silver body, a man in his 30’s was driving it, please hurry take her to the hospital. Don’t let her die. All her important things are in this black purse. If you need to call people her iPhone is unlocked. She should put a code on it but now it’s a good thing. Oh man! Please help her.” I see them taking her away.
They said she’d have a 50/50 chance of making it. I need to close up the machines and I need to get to her house as quick as possible, to tell Evelyn. Ruby is like my little sister. I can’t bare seeing her in that state.

Everything is blank. Why is everything blank? Oh wait that’s me when I was four. Why am I seeing me when I was four?
Wait now I’m 8 in that scene I remember that day I was at a party and I had too much cake and soda.
Whoa I’m 13 in that one. Eww my hair. Gosh I was really skinny.

Oh that’s me falling while running in the hallway when I was 10. There I am again falling when I was 6.
Aww that kid always took my bike when we used to live there. I had a nice childhood. Oh my goodness I remember when I got hit by a motorcycle when I was 13. I just wanted to ride my cousins bike.
