Janette's P.O.V.

"Hi , I'm Sarah ." she said wiping her tears and smiling .

"Hi , I'm Janette ." is all I said . I didn't yet want her to know I was with Niall , I kind of wanted him to say something , anything really , or I kind of just wanted to see what see would think or say . "Come in please , it's pouring outside ." I said catching me and Niall off guard .

"Oh thank you so much ." she said grabbing her kid by the arm and tugging him inside . "Ni , would you get my luggage darling ?" she said . I immediately grew irritated and wanted her out of my house now . 'Ni ? Darling ?' who the fuck does she think she is making him get her fucking luggage and calling him darling .

"Of course ." he said instinctively I assume .

"Sit . Now ." she said rudely to her little boy as he did as he was told and sat there with his little arms folded and his blue eyes gazing at the room in curiosity . It was so weird how much he reminded me of Niall .

We all sat down on the couch surrounding the coffee table , me next to Niall , and her and her son across from us . She had on this really nice coat with boot heel type of shoes and her stupid make up of course would look pretty . I offered her coffee and she explained how she only drank tea . I ask her if she would like a towel , bitch said she air drys because towels have bacteria .

"So you said you didn't know who else to go to ? What did you mean by that ?" Niall asked with an eyebrow up in curiosity .

"Well you see ", she said sniffling , "my boyfriend Daniel , he's , well he's a drinker , and you know ever since he came back he's just been so , angry and I just couldn't stay there anymore and I can't go back with my mom she's back on the drugs and I just , please , I need some where to stay ."

I looked at Niall and looked at me , and this was just so hard because I don't think she even realized we were together .

"Babe , the monitor ." he said as it went off indicating the boys were awake and Sarahs face was priceless .

"Oh , you two are together ?" she said smirking a little surprised .

"Yeah , our kids are upstairs . And now I'm going to go check up on them . " Niall said kissing my head and running up leaving my and Sarah alone .

"So , how long have you two been together ?"

"Almost a year ."

"Oh so you gave in that easy ."

"Excuse me ?"

"Oh don't worry , I did too . He can be very persuasive and addicting ."

"They're asleep again ." Niall said breaking up our discussion .

"Mummy , can I use the toilet ?" the little boy asked which was the first I herd him .

"No . I told you to hold it ! " she snapped at him .

"But mummy , I've been holding since this morning ..." he said quietly .

"I don't care hold it !" she said as I watched his face grow sad and almost like he wanted to cry .

"Here I'll take you ." I said to him standing up .

"No he's fine ." she said immediately .

"No , really . Come on , I'll take you ." I said smiling and looking at him with my hand out for him to take it and he did almost immediately . We walked down the hall and to the left leaving Niall and Sarah in quiet but I herd her start up a conversation quickly .

"So , what's your name anyway ?" I asked him .

"James ." he said quietly .

"Hi James , I'm Janette . " I said as he shyly walked into the bathroom . I stayed outside leaning against the bathroom door humming away until he finally opened the door and I almost fell in .

"You're weird.." he looked at me quietly and smiled .

"So you like your mom ?" I asked him.

"I guess , she's not very nice . That's why my other daddy left ."

"What do you mean he left ?"

"Yeah , he told my mom that he didn't love her anymore . Then she hit him on the head and he fell and red stuff fell out ..."

"What do you mean he just fell ?" I asked a little more nervous but he just stayed quiet .

"I'm not suppose to say stuff she'll get mad at me and put me in the closet again . . "

"Honey listen to me " I said knelling down holding his hands even though I was still in pain , "whatever you tell me , I promise I won't tell her you told me and she won't hurt you as long as me and Niall are here ." you could tell he really wanted to tell me but was afraid too .

"My daddy didn't wake up he stayed on the floor with red stuff everywhere and then my mommy said we had to leave fast and leave daddy there ."

"James darling ?" we herd Sarah say walking closer .

"James listen to me , are you sure he wasn't moving and red stuff was coming out ? Where did she hit him ?" I asked a little more panicked now standing .

"Shh she's going to hear ." he said tugging on my sleeve .

"There you two are . Come along now James Niall has prepared dinner for all of us ." Sarah said carrying James away as he held his finger to his lips .
