Niall met me outside my class after 4th period so we could walk to lunch together . I was still heated about Rachel but I got over it .

"How did you get here so fast ? " I asked Niall as I reached up to kiss him .

"I left class early . "

"I mean I guess " I said laughing as he held my hand .

We sat at our usual table that was originally theirs but now ours . The table consisted of Liam , Louis , Zayn , Perrie , Harry , Niall , and I . We even had a specific way of sitting ALL the time . Liam sat next to Louis , who sat next to Zayn , who sat next to Perrie , who sat next to Harry , who sat next to me , who sat next to Niall , who sat next to Liam .

We were all in the middle of our conversation when out of no where Rachel came up with Becka .

"Janette get up now ! " Rachel yelled at me .

"Excuse me ? " I responded calmly looking at Perrie and Harry right away .

"Get up you stupid fat bitch did I stutter !? "

"Rachel ! Chill , just walk away and leave her alone ." Perrie said looking at Zayn annoyed .

"Perrie , come on ! Look at her ! She's a fucking loser ! She doesn't even have a dad anymore and has anyone asked her why ?! " I looked at Harry and he saw my expression of sadness and infuriated .

"Rachel enough ! " Harry snapped .

"No ask her Niall ask her ! He killed himself because her moms a slut ! "

I immediately snapped at her comment and jumped up from my seat and I felt like I blacked out for a minute . I cant remember what happened , all I know is by the time I knew it I, was on top of Rachel punching her nose like if there was no tomorrow . Over me I saw two muscular arms wrap around my waist and lift me off of her . I looked around really fast and saw a bunch of students stand around watching me .

Niall pulled me off of her and tried to walk away with me over his shoulder before the principal saw but it was too late . He asked to see me in his office and Niall looked at me with disappointment in his eyes .

Niall's P.O.V
"No ask her Niall ask her ! He killed himself because her moms a slut !"

After that comment , Janette stood up right away and punched Rachel in the face . With her left hand she got a hand full of her hair and pulled her to the floor and punched her face at least turdy times .

"Niall go ! " Harry shoved me as I ran over and pulled Janette from Rachel .. I wrapped my arms around Janettes waist and threw her over my shoulder and walked away as fast as I could before a principal came but as I was walking , he pulled my shoulder and took Janette to the office .

I didn't know what to do with myself , I was mad , I was shocked she never told me , is that why she had those scars ? I walked back and forth outside the office and still nothing , it was an hour after school and she was still no where to be found . I decided to wait for her at her house . I had Harry give me a ride .

"What do you think's gonna happen ? " He asked me as I starred out the window bitting my thumb nail .

"I don't know . Why didn't she tell me about her dad though . "

"Who knows , maybe she was embarrassed or she was afraid you'd leave like everyone else . "

"What do you mean ? "

"Don't tell her I told you , but her dad was like her best friend and he committed suicide when he found out her mom cheated on him . That's why they moved here , to get a fresh start . She also had a boyfriend , Danny I think , he would hit her all the time which explains all the scars . "

"Wait , you little fuck ! you knew and you didn't tell me !? What the fuck is the matter with you !? "

"It wasn't my story to tell ! "

"I guess . "

I finally got to her house and I went upstairs to make her bed so she wouldn't get home and have to clean . I fixed up some spaghetti because tthat's all I knew how to make . I sat there on the dinning room table waiting for her to get home .

Janettes P.O.V
I got into my car and drove home . I was so mad ! How did I get suspended but she didn't ! She started it ! I cant believe I also got kicked off of softball , my mom's going to kill me . Especially because the principal called her . Now she's going to come home and beat me . I cant take that . Not right now .

I drove up to the drive way . I didn't see Nialls car so I was assuming he wasn't here . I didn't see Harry's car so I assumed they must have been together . I opened the garage door and I saw my mom's car in there .

My heart started beating faster as I walked up to the house . I knew what was coming .

I opened the door and there she was , standing there arms crossed , eyebrow up and a wire at hand .

"So you got kicked off of softball didn't you ? "

"Mom , I'm sorry ! I just - " She cut me off swinging the wire towards my face .

My hand flew up towards my face as tears rushed to my eyes .

"You're so fucking worthless ! Like your father !! I don't even know why your my kid ! Look at you ! You're fat ! You don't even resemble me ! You always hold me back ! " She yelled swinging the wire to my back again , and again , and again , and again .

"Mom , " I said crying without being able to breath , "Please . . . stop it hurts . "

"Shut up ! " she said swinging once more .

"Stop it ! " I herd Niall running out of the room over to me holding my moms wrist before she could swing again . "Come on Janette . " he said picking me up running me out the door .

"Lay down . " He said as I yelled in pain .

"Ahhh Niall I cant , it hurts too much ! " I said tears rushing down my face . He them put me in the back seat laying my face down so my back wouldn't hurt .

We got to his house and he threw me over his shoulders and ran me to his room . He layed me down with my back facing the ceiling and ripped my shirt off .

"This is going to hurt ok and I'm so sorry . " he said dropping liquid on my back .

I couldn't help but yell to a point where I couldn't stand the pain any more . I blacked out and I didn't feel a thing anymore .

I woke up rubbing my hands on my eyes . I looked around the room observing it , his room was very manly , it was a dark blue with clothes on the floor in a corner and dark curtains . I tried to call Niall but my voice wasn't loud enough . My throat felt dry and raspy .

"Niall ? " I said almost as a whisper . The door then opened quietly as he popped his head in with water and food .

"Hey kid , how are you doing ? " he said trying to smile .

I tried to get up but I was too weak , my arms gave out and I landed back on the bed face down .

"Janette , just stay there . " He said helping me lay back down .

"Can you move the blanket off my back please , it hurts . " I asked him quietly .

"Yeah I'm sorry , it's just , I had to rip your shirt off , and your bra . " he said shly .

"SO you got a free show ? " I said sarcastically .

"I'm sorry but I was trying to help you to help you and besides it's not anything I haven't seen before on you . " He said laughing "So your mom . "

"I'm sorry if she scared you away Niall , I know I'm pretty complicated , if you wanna leave you can . " I said tears running down my face .

"Hey , hey , hey , I'm not going anywhere . I told you we can be complicated together . . You're not the only one with a past Janette . "

"What do you mean ? "

"I had a girlfriend , Sarah , I was in love with her , I wanted to marry her , we were very sexual and one day she told me she was pregnant and I was ready to marry her but she ran away , she ran away o kill our baby . " He said tears brimming in his eyes . "She killed a life we created ! She broke my heart and destroyed me , that's why I became a dick . I hated the world and I slept around because I didn't care anymore , but then , I found you , and I felt happiness again . " he said holding my hand pressing his lips against mine .

"I definitely want to kiss you but this is a weird position for me . " We both laughed .

"Janette " , he said quietly looking down at our hands entwined together , " I love you . " I couldn't help but start to blush . I looked into his eyes and pressed my lips against his and as i slowly moved back I whisphered back to him , "I love you too . "
