Shit! I thought as I ran into the dark ally. "Stay the fuck away from me!" I shouted over my shoulder before I ran straight in to a hard chest. I looked up to find a very good looking tall black haired boy who had to look down to me because I was so short. "Are you okay miss?" He asked his chocolate/ hazel eyes practicly dripping worry as he placed his hands on my shoulders. "Where are you Onyx!?" We heard someone scream from just outside the ally. "Run!" I said push ing him out the opposite end of the ally. "Come this way!" He said grabbing my hand and dragging me down the empty street and into an apartment building. We ran up about two flights of stairs before we stopped at a door, both pantin and he took out his keys and put them in the keyhole before turning the lock and pushing onto the apartment. He looked at me and his eyes widened, taking in the sight of blood and black, grey, and white feathers. "Is that blood?" He asked pointing to my shoulders. "Yeah can I please use your bathroom? I need to freashen up." I said and he nodded while pointing to a door down the hall, still staring at my wings. I walked down the hall and opened the door. Pausing for a moment before walking in to the bathroom I said "I'm Onyx by the way," then closed the door and started to take off my top when I heard him say "I'm Zayn," i smiled before fully taking off my shirt and seeing that one of the bones on my left wing was broken. I reached over my shoulder and pushed the bones back into place before saying a quick Latin prayer and watching the bones heal.
