One Foggy Night

I was going out for some groceries. When I went outside the cold air hit me. I almost fell on my porch. It was to foggy out tonight. I covered my ears with my scarf. I took out my phone so, it could make light for me.
I began walking down the sidewalk. I heard a beeping noise. I looked at my phone, it was going dead. "Just great". I muttered rolling my eyes. I sighed and put my phone back in my coat pocket.
I finally made it to the store. I went in and grabbed a buggy. I started looking around the store. I looked to my side and saw someone looking at me. I shrugged it off. Even though I didn't get to see his face closely.

I paid for it and grabbed my bags and left. I turned around and saw the same guy looking at me, I think it was him. I just turned around and walked out.
"Fuck it's cold". I says seeing smoke come out my mouth. "Ugh". I said walking fast. I stopped for a second to see if I had got everything. I put my bags down and checked my pockets.
I had everything. I picked my bags back up and bumped into something, or someone. I looked up and saw a figure. But I couldn't see the face.
"Do you need help there? It's to cold for you to be out here at midnight". The boy said checking his phone. "No, I'm fine. I was just going home". I says trying to walk away from him.
"Are you sure...... um"? He asked. "I'm fine". I said not telling him my name. He came closer. "My house is not that far. But I have to go, I might freeze just standing here". I says while my teeth were chattering.
I couldn't tell if he nodded or something, but I just kept walking. I looked behind me and saw nothing but fog. I guess he gave up.
I walked for 5 more minutes till I came to a stop. Behind me I heard footsteps. I turned around, but nothing was there. "Hello". I said poking my head out. No response back. I guess I was just hearing things.
Then I heard more footsteps. "Is anyone out there"? I asked getting worried. Not a response. I unlocked my door and went in. I set my bags down and took off my coat and stuff.
I was only wearing PJS. No wonder I was feeling below 0 degrees. I went to the kitchen and turned on the oven. Then my doorbell rang. I went to go answer it.
I opened the door and I got a chill. I looked outside and saw nobody. "Ding dong ditch my ass". I said closing the door. I went to the kitchen and started taking everything out of the bags.
I put them where they need to be and went up to my room. I live alone ever since my parents died. I turned the TV on got under the covers. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I feel asleep.
