Taking Risks

( Cordi's P.O.V)
" Cora what's wrong?" I asked my sister.

" Oh nothing. I'm fine." She said.

" But you're crying." Genny said. I looked over at Cora and her eyes were glossy and tears were falling down her cheeks.

" Cora darling just tell us." I said and walked over to her putting my hand on her shoulder.

" Oh it's just that after you get married we won't see you that much." She said. I smiled.

" Of course you will I promise. We'll always be the Hamilton sisters no matter what." I said and she smiled.

" Thank you Cordi. " She said wiping away her tears. I smiled at her.

" Your welcome. " Genny had a huge smile on her face.

" Oh isn't it lovely?" I asked holding out my hand so they could see the ring.

" I absolutely adore it Cordi. It's grand." Genny said looking at it with admiration.

" I- it's great Cordi. I love it too." Cora said. Something was up with her it's probably because we've always been together and now I'm getting married.

" Harry's a great guy Cordi. You too make a great couple." Genny said.

" Can I be a bridesmaid?" Genny asked. I nodded my head.

" Cora will be my maid of honor." Cora nodded and smiled.

" Thank you." She said. There was an awkward silence.

" So how are things with Nathan?" Genny shrugged.

" I'm not really sure." She answered.

" I think he likes you." Cora said and Genny shook her head.

" He doesn't fucking like me! We are just friends."

" Sure you are." I teased. Just then the door opened.

" Ladies go to bed. " Mum said. We all nodded and got in bed while Mum turned off the lights. I led down in bed.

" Soon I'll be out of here. But don't worry I'll visit. "

" I hope you don't move to far away."

" Can't wait for tomorrow." Genny said.

" Why? Have a date with Nathan?" I teased. She sat up and threw a pillow at me but it was dark so she couldn't tell if she hit me. She laid back down again.

" No. I have vocal lessons." She said. Genny loved music and she absolutely loved to sing. She had a really nice voice also.

" Oh that's nice." Cora said.

" Goodnight Cora and Genny." I said.

" Goodnight." Genny yawned.

" Goodnight." Cora said. I quickly fell asleep dreaming sweet dreams.


( Nobody's P.O.V)
Cora kept tossing and turning but her secret kept haunting her. She quickly sat up and opened the drawer with her book of thoughts and secrets. A.K.A her diary. She held it close to her chest as she got out of bed and walked to the room with the fireplace.

She got a chair and sat down right in front of the fireplace but not to close and not far back. She opened her book and scanned through the pages . She smiled at the good memories and giggled at the funny ones. But then she came across The Page. The Page held her secret which she never told anybody. Nobody at all. She stared at it. Tears started forming in her eyes. She ripped page by page and threw it into the fire. She whispered her secret before exiting the room. But what she didn't know was that someone was watching her.
