Taking Risks

( Cordi's P.O.V)
Today was a great day. We were currently at my father's business party. We were all having a good time. I was wearing this. I thought I looked good.
" Oh hello Cordelia! How is your mother? I haven't seen her in ages!" Mrs. Smith asked.I smiled at her politely and answered.

" Hello Mrs. Smith! Mother is fine she's been asking about you . How are you?" I asked.

" Oh Cordelia I'm fine. And that's great that your mother is fine. You look so elegant." She is so nice.

" Thank you so much. You look great too." I complemented her she nodded.

" Oh there is your father let me go talk to him." She said pointing to daddy. She walked over to him and they greeted each other. I looked around and watched different people talking some dancing others just standing there awkwardly like me. A man with black hair walk passed me and I smiled at him and he smiled back at me before walking away to talk to other people. I saw a familiar figure walking towards me.

" Hey Cordi!" He said and I smiled at him. He hugged me tightly. Then we pulled away.

" Harry! I missed you! How are you?" I asked. I stared into his beautiful green eyes.

" I missed you too! I'm good what about you and your sisters, Cora and Genny?" Harry was I guess you could call him my boyfriend.

" We're fine. We're really great." I smiled at the ground.

" Hey can we talk?" He asked. I giggled.

" Harry we are talking." I pointed out and he rolled his eyes and chuckled.

" No like in private. Alone. Ya know." He said. I nodded and He took my hand and we walked into a room. He got down on one knee and took a little box from his pocket.

" Harry what are you doing?" I asked.

( Genny's P.O.V)
My sister Cora was wearing this. I just stood there playing with a feather. Cora was talking with other people. I got bored so I blew on the feather.
" Hello." A voice said. I almost jumped and I dropped my feather on the floor. I turned to face the guy

" Nathan Sykes! You fucking scared me!" I kinda yelled.

" Sorry Gen. Didn't mean to scare ya." He said shrugging.

" Come here." I said pulling him into a hug. " How have you been?" I asked looking into his eyes. I smiled at him. He was one of my best friends.

" I've been great. What about you?" He asked.

" I'm good. " I said.

" You look great. " He complimented me. Aw.

" Thanks so do you. Hey have you seen Cordi?" I asked and he nodded.

" Yeah she went into a room with some guy." Hmm. What is she doing with that guy? Whoever the guy is.

" How did he look like?" I asked wanting to know more. Maybe I could guess.

" He had curly brown hair." Hmm. Then it hit me.

" Harry! Harry has curly brown hair. It could be him." He nodded.

" Yeah maybe. Oh there's Max. I need to go to talk to him excuse me." He said and I smiled and he walked off. Now I'm alone again. Oh well. Then Harry and Cordi walked over to me with huge smiles on their faces.

" What's up with you guys? " I asked. Hmm I'll guess. " IS there Ice cream cause that's something to smile about. Oh I hope they have Mint chocolate chip. That's my favo-" I was cut off by Cordi saying,

" No Genny there's no ice cream." I frowned.

" Okay then Let me guess again. Daddy bought me a present for my birthday!" I guessed.

" No Genny! Your birthday was five months ago. " Cordi said. She was right.

"I know but okay fine you win I give up." I said in defeat. I sighed. " What is it? Why are you so happy?" I asked. They looked at each other.

" We're engaged!" They said at the same time. I smiled a big smile almost as big as theirs.

" I am so happy for you!!" I said and attacked them with a big hug. " Does Mum know yet? What about daddy?" I asked.

" Of course they know." Harry said.

" Good what about Cora? Does she know?"

" No not yet Genny. We'll tell her once we find her okay?" I nodded my head and raced off to tell other people.

" Genny? Why are you so happy? What's up?" Cora asked me.

" Oh Cora I have great news. Harry and Cordi are engaged! Isn't that grand?"

" Yes of course it is. I'm so happy for them." She said and walked off probably to go find Cordi and congratulate her or something like that. I pushed passed people to find mum.

" Mum! Have you heard the news? Oh of course you have! I think it's great." She smiled at me.

" Darling little Genny. I have heard the news and I think it's wonderful. Harry is a good man and I trust he will take care of Cordi." I walked off only thinking about Harry and Cordi getting married. Everybody thinks it's wonderful! I hope I get to be the maid of honor or something.
