Dontay p.o.v
as i wait for Scooter at the stop sign i just think of what happened last night my mom and dad fighting again and my dad accidentally hit me. As i stood by the sign i saw scooter riding up. Her hair flying around her as she rides. She comes up to me.
"what happened here?" She points at my bruise on my cheek.
"scooter you should realize by now that these are my battle scars with their own story." I say. I know i should tell her but i just can't .
" And whats this ones story?" She asks
"that is the past we must live in the now." I say
"yeah yeah whatever dontay." she says.
"Race ya!" I scream out of no where but i begin to ride ahead of her.
"good try." She says catching up to me
" Whatever scooter." I say
"lamar who won?" She screams she is a few inches behind me.
"you obviously." Lamar says.
"no fair she just your favorite." I say. He just shruggs.
she sticks her tung out at me and takes my green monster hat from me and places it on her head.
"hey thats-" i meant to say mine. But i saw a group of guys come into the building. I glance and turn back. Scooter did the same. After they pass she says
" bye , Lamar, john,." She says and grabs my arm and drags me off to first period. She is really short so she is literally trying to,drag me . So she just walks ands puts her board down ear her locker. Still wearing my hat of course i wont it back till next week.
Johns pov
"bye ." I say to dontay and scooter. And Lamar and I walk off to first period. So we just walk. We do absolutely nothing at all so we just talk. The bell finally rings and we head off to break. Me john and Alex are the first one there we get our food i get a chicken biscuit for Scooter and i get one for me. As we head to our table . Scooter and some guy come running up to us.
"i won.in your face Chilly" Exclaims Scooter.
"yeah yeah." Says the guy with blonde hair. Im assuming he must be chilly.
"hi I'm niall or now renamed to be chilly." He chuckles
"John" i say "so scooter is already working on new people." I joke
"Eh." She chuckles.
"Murry christmus." I say and throw her the chicken biscuit.
"Thunks burt." She laughs.
four other guys come in with Dontay. They introduce them with there names and the names scooter gave them, while laughing. How does she come up with these. I look over at her and her phone goes off, she quickly reads it and frowns
"I've got to go cover form me eh?" She says to all of us.
we nod
"wait where you going?" I ask.
" To the hospital Ducky needs me." She says.
"Well I'm coming." I say she nods and with that we leave the campus.
