The Chemical

Kaitlyn POV As I sit here, I feel like I'm being watched. I look around and realize there was a tall man on the otherside of the subway. He must be waiting for the same train, it should have been here hours ago. The man was wearing all black. He had dark brown hair. He was actually very attractive. He stood up and started walking towards me. What if he's going to kill me? Do I run? Nah let's be stupid and just sit here and pretend you don't see the man walking towards you. He looked at me and took his hood off. "Hi, my name is Harry. I don't mean to bother you. You just looked lonely. A pretty girl like you shouldn't be out at this time of night. Expecially because of what's happening. " "What are you talking about? I'm 19, I'm not a little girl anymore. And what's happening?" Great just gave a complete stranger my age. Wonderful, right? "Haven't you heard?" "Heard about what? That the train's late? It's kinda obvious. " "No, the uprising. Someone released a chemical into the water system. Everyone is going crazy now." "If you want my opinion they were already crazy. The water didn't change much." "Well not as crazy as this. People go out at night and act like zombies pretty much. I was going to a friend's house but since the train isn't coming, I guess I'll go tomorrow. Oh, I didn't catch your name. " "It's Kaitlyn. Why? " "Well it's getting a bit chilly out here and all you're wearing is that long sleeves. Here, take my jacket. If you would like, you can come to my house. It's only a few blocks away." "Um sure, thanks."
