Possessive Freak. (46th Chapter)
Melody's POV:

“Good morning, Melody.” The doctor walks in a hurry to me, as a nurse escort him. “Speak to me if you can.” He requests politely, and I open my mouth: “Harry.” I say, wanting to see him more than the doctor at this moment. “He’s outside, just help me finish the tiny tests of reflexes and I’ll personally tell him to come inside; alright?” I nod, as he lights a flashlight in his hand. He points the flashlight at my eyes, and I follow the movement of the light. “Very good, Melody. Now, tell me if you feel this.” He places one hand on my leg, and I flinch at his cold palm. “Could you try to move it a little?” I respond to the doctor by shifting my leg up. It isn’t solid, but a little heavy.“Excellent work. It seems that you could go out now if you want to.”
I nod impatiently, since all I want is to get out of the hospital. “Would you like me to send the paper work to you, after I leave?” I reply verbally: “Yes, the sooner the better.” He smiles in understanding, and leaves with the nurse on his follow. I wait till what seems to be like a lifetime, until the door reopens. His tall figure, marches in speed towards me, reaching his hands to touch my cheeks. He rubs each side, and his expression is unexplainable, but positive for sure. He doesn’t speak, all he does is keep his eyes at mine, trying to convince himself that I am finally awake.“(I whisper) Say something.” His hands begin to shake, as I place mine on top of his. “(He stutters) I-… I don’t know what um… wh-…” I close the distance between us, allowing my lips to feel his own.
He doesn’t respond at the beginning, clearly still shocked, but he begins to react shortly. “I love you, Harry.” I breathe my words, as my kiss ends. “You should hate me. I was so selfish for keeping you to myself. I didn’t want you to end up like this. I should have let you see your father sooner than y-…” I place my weak fingertips on his lips, cutting him off once again. “Don’t… I don’t want to talk about any of this anymore. I know why you did this, and I don’t blame you for not wanting to share me with anyone else… you’re just a possessive freak; my possessive freak.” He smiles at my words, and his eyes glitter. “Here… Let’s get you dressed so we can leave, yeah?” He takes both my hands in his, and supports me to stand up.
… On the Way Back…
“I’m glad I’m not on that bike right now.” I state in sarcasm, and harry chuckles. He hailed a taxi, to escort us both back to my house. My house that is now empty, my house that I will be in control of. Does this mean that I will have to work? Drop out of my final year in university? Will I be poor? Will I end up on the streets? “Mel?” Harry snaps me out of my worry, and I look at him in response. “Everything will be alright, I promise you.” He seemed to have understood what my mind has been dwelling over; and I can’t believe that I could love him more than I already do, for this.
…At the Mansion…
“Miss Cramer!” Albert engulfs me in a hug, and I almost witness his happy teardrop. He takes the tiny bags from Harry’s hands, and smiles in relief at me. “The lawyer will be on his way, just relax yourself in the living room.” Lawyer? I look at Harry, but he seems confused like I am. What now?
Notes
To many emotions for today's chapters. i know you all are worried and feeling the madness that was expressed in today's updates, but they never end in this story (Y) I wanted you all to witness how a person can go insane, even though he/she wasn't expecting it. Melody and harry broke down, an that helped them in gaining each other back. Harry is really in love with Melody, she even changed him from the start, and so did he. She gave him patience, while he gave her a voice of her own life <3
Questions for tomorrow: What is the lawyer for? Someone pissing Harry off? Melody is amazed? An arrival of someone by the jet? Who?! :O
