I smiled to myself holding back the tears while reading the letter my best friend Lana sent me.
I wont cry. I've cried to much in the past 18 years.
After mum's dead I stayed with Lana and her parents but now I decided to finally leave my past behind and move on.
Lana and her husband Brian are on Miami on honeymoon since they married couple of weeks ago.
She gave me the keys for her old pick-up and some money so I could finally leave this hell-hole of a hometown.

Not even 2 years ago I didn't know anyone or any places besides my home.
But it had to change and now is the time.
I might not be as strong as Lana might think but I'm willing to try.

The fact that I got my driving licence just 2 months ago is the only reason why I'm standing here at the gas station, helpless, without knowing how to fill the tank.

I would ask someone straightaway but it would be just too embrassing.
I mean which 18 year old girl who has a licence doesn't know how to tank? Yeah right. Me.

I must have looked clearly out of the place when I heard a voice from behind.

'hey, do you need any help?'

I didn't know if the person was talking to me but obviously no on was around except for us and I'm certain I look like a lost puppy.

I slowely turned around to be met with a pair of beautiful emerald eyes.

'Yes- uh I don't know how to -uh yeah' I mumbled gesturing towards the pick-up.

The boy in front of me who looked just my age raised an eyebrow in amusement crossing his arms infront of his chest.
His muscles flexed under the black button up shirt revealing a bit of his tattooed chest underneath.

'How old are you?' He asked looking me up and down trying to figure me out somehow.

'18, but I just have my licence for- uh 2 months' I said meeting his gaze again.

' I know this might sound really stupid but I - uh can you please help me? This is the first time I have to do this and I don't know how to open this cap thing' I said frustated.

He chuckled before nodding.

I sighed in relief as he went towards the drivers door and bend down so I had full view of his toned chest since I was looking at him through the passengerseat window.
He pulled on something right under the steering wheel and then the cap opened itself.

My eyes widened.

'How did you do that?!' I asked.

'You have to pull here' he said tapping on something 'and then it will open automatically'

I nodded in understandment.

'Now you need to pay first, do you have a card or-'

'I pay with a card, just a second' I said before opening the back door and bending over the seat to grab my purse and I could almost feel his burning gaze on my ass.

I climbed out again and caught him staring ad he schook his head and winked.
He knew I had caught him and still he didn't seem fazed.
I smirked to myself.

'Abbey. Beautiful name. It suits you. Sexy and mysterious' he smirked as I blushed.

'by the way I'm Harry' he smiled at me.

'Harry. Nice name I like it. suits you too' I smiled.

'Alright so this is how you do it' he stated and showed me everything I need to know from paying to filling the tank.

'Thank you so much! Next time I should be able to do it myself' I smiled at him and he nodded.

'Your welcome, are you here for holidays?' Harry asked looking at the suitcase in the back of my car.

my stomach churned but I decided to ignore it.

'no -uh I'm just travelling around'

'That's cool are you going to stay here for awhile?' He asked me a bit of hope in his eyes.

'I don't know' I looked around it was getting quite dark which means I had to take a room at a hotel and continue tomorrow with my expedition.

'Well uh, do you wanna- I mean if you want to we could go eat something before you leave again?' He smiled at me.

I wanted to protest but there was no reason why I shouldn't.
I mean he is hot and I wont see him again so why not?

'Yeah sure'

'Alright just follow my car then' he said before walking over to a black range rover and jumping in.
I walked towards the driverside and climbed in staring my car.

Tonight should be fun.
