A Boy and His Guitar
Twenty Six
Clarity paced in her room. She had everything on her floor, because when she ran back home and up to her room, she had a total meltdown. She knew it would be like this, wherever she would go! She knew it!
her phone was blowing up with missed calls and texts, and eventually, she threw it at a wall. It made a funny sound and dropped to the floor. She knew it was broken.
"Great," she grumbled.
She pace back and forth in her room. She remembered what Jesse had texted her.
"God, why am I such an idiot?!" She facepalmed. She should've listened to Jesse.
She heard tapping in her window. She looked over at it and saw Niall, standing in the rain, throwing pebbles at the window to get her attention. She rolled her eyes, pulling down all the shades.
She jumped when she heard her phone beep, so she looked at the cracked screen. It was Niall.
"Ignore," she said as she pressed the button. She suddenly saw a figure in the mirror on her wardrobe. There was a girl there, her hair in a messy, horrible blonde bun, her makeup dripping down her face, tears staine on her cheeks. Her clothes had tiny tips in them and were ruffled.
Clarity put her hand to her cheek, and the girl in the mirror mimicked her exactly. That wasn't Clarity. It couldn't be.
But it was.
