A Boy and His Guitar

Eighteen

Clarity stared in shock. She thought she'd lost that! Clarity snatched the papers from his hand.

"Clarity, I've already read it. Do you think that lowly of yourself? All those things.... Don't ever say it about you," he said. Niall cupped her face, staring at her beautiful eyes.

"I don't want you to ever say those things about yourself. If you want to write something down, write about how good you are. What I see good in you. There is no bad anymore. Thinks positive," Niall whispered. Clarity could feel his warm breath against her cheeks.

"Niall, you-" Niall shushed her.

Niall's lips puckered, and soon, they were sharing a sweet kiss. No tongue (they didn't know how to do that!) no interruptions. Just Clarity, Niall, and the air around them.

They stopped when Niall and Clarity needed air. They gasped, and fell back onto their backs, looking up at the sky.

Clarity felt Niall pull her hand into his. She looked over at him, and he looked over at her, and they both smile.
