Time Escapes Me
Harry's POV
"That's catchy," she simply responded, I let out a breath i didn't realize I was holding in. That's it I was in the clear, she doesn't know who I am.
"Yeah, I guess you can say that."
"Wait," she said and at that moment I felt my heart skip a beat, it was too good to be true. She knew. Nothing would be the same. It is probably a good thing, it's for the best, there's only about ten minutes left of the train ride anyways. After ten minutes I will probably never see her ever again, my mood just shifted, I became sad, I had to see her again.
"yeah....."
"well, it's just you look familiar but I don't know how i know you. I thought maybe once I knew your name, I thought I would be able to piece it together and I would realize why I know you, but I just can't seem to figuire it out. "
" I mean, why do you think I look familiar? I am one of a kind," I responded cheekily,I wasn't about to ruin everything, maybe she wouldn't put two and two together. I was holding onto that tiny peice of hope.
"Do you go to the University of Manchester?"
This was my way out, maybe I didn't have to tell her who I really am right away maybe I could hold off that part of my life off a little bit longer. I mean even if we did keep in touch and she eventaully found out I am 1/5th of an international pop sensation, named One Direction, I mean I could always lie about taking a class or two, that wouldn't be so bad, would it?
"yeah, I take a few classes, I hang out on campus, maybe youv'e seen me around." I lied, well not completley i was on campus just today, maybe that's when she saw me, today on campus in passing.
"oh, what do you major in?"
This question seemed like a no- brainer,"The arts," I mean I did major in the arts in my own way...
"What do you major in?" I asked her trying to get the attentiob off of me
" Pre- law." No wonder why she was so strong - willed and hard to "break"
"go figuire," I answered with a smirk "
"And what's that supposed to mean Styles? Are you making a judgement call, youv'e only known me got almost an hour now, you don't know me, you don't know my story."
" I'm pretty sure you just answered your own question."
"Well aren't you a charmer, well guess what that whatever your doing, wont work on me, I'm too smart to think only with my heart."
" Correction love, it IS working."
Raquel's POV
What is wrong with ,e? Why am i flirting with him? Why am I letting him flirt with me? I just recently had an epiphany and now this? But there's something about him, his green eyes, his bone structure ugh! when he smiles, his full red lips turning up, his dimples so deep. The way his curly hair peeks out of his black beanie. The way his black beanie, sweater and jeans contrast against his pale skin.
'snap out of it Raquel!' I told myself but why? I'm getting off now in abot seven minutes Wow I have been talking to him for about an hour, minus the 15 minutes i fell asleep, I loved how our conversations just flowed, like we've known eachother forever but in reality we just met. But in seven minutes I most probably won't see him ever again, would it kill me to flirt a little? Maybe I can be someone else for seven minutes, it wouldn't kill me to, even though it went against everything that I stood for. If i flirt for seven minutes would it be so bad, would it be a crime to brake out of my comfort zone for like ten minutes? UGH he's staring at me with those eyes. I shifted uncomfortably under his gaze. I flipped my hair over my shoulder, but stopped ,myself before wipping my eyes.
" So are you okay in terms of what you are doing when you get off?" His husky voice, that accent, I've been living in London for over a year now and got over the accent a month after I moved to London. But his accent, his voice, I never heard anything like it. I've grown accustom to the accent, but his voice made me fall in love with them all over again.
"umm yeah, I guess I'll just stay the night at a bread & breakfast."
"Well when we get off, I can take you to one, and if you get scared, I can stay with you." I loved the way he was being kind and cheeky at the same time. I had to play hard to get, most importantly I had to stick my ground.
" It's okay, I'm pretty sure I can manage myself." Just then , I felt the person on my left, the bum turned towards me, usaully I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but I won't lie and say I wasn't a little frightned.
" Well, you sure? You know I can be your knight in shinning armor."
" Dont worry I won't need any saving."
We talked for a few more minutes, before the train doors opened. We got off the train , in Cheshire and I had no idea were I was going nor what I was going to do.
"Last chance to take advantage of my services, and not just in one way," he said while winking at me.
" Wow, as amazing as that sounds, I can't accept your offer, but thanks for helping me out."
"Any time love," and with that he gave me a quick hug, I recripricated, and wrapped my arms around his neck, getting a wiff of his after shave, he smelt so oh- so- amazing. I can't believe he didn't try to get my number, but it was probably for the best.
