A Love Story

Niall's POV.

I watched as Adrianne comforted Katie and Layla in the hospital. I really liked her, but I just dont know how to tell her. She is so beautiful, sweet, and funny. I could never stand a chance with her.After all I was the guy who got Harry into this mess. Just then Liam, Danni, Perri, and Zayn rushed through the door.

"Where is he? Where is Harry?" Liam said franticly.

"He's right here." Walking over to where the girls were, as rubbing Adrianne's back.
She was the calmest out of all of them, but you can tell she was really worried about Harry. She looked up at me holding her tears.

"Want to talk outside?" I whispered.
She just nodded. I helped her up and we walked hand in hand out the door. As soon as we got outside she broke into tears. I held her as close as I can rubbing her back.

"Everything will be ok love." I whispered into her ear.

"I’m-t-trying to be strong in-in front of the girls, but I justcan't any longer!" Adrianne cried into my shoulder.

"Hey. Look at me. Everything WILL be fine!" I said holding her face and wiping her tears away with my thumbs.
We straight eye to eye contact, and our bodies were so close I couldn’t help myself from kissing her. I leaned in slowly hoping she won’t back away. I was now just centimeters away from her face when I closed my eyes and planted my lips right on top of hers. As she kissed me back I felt butterflies explode in my stomach. I have made out with SO many girls before on the first kiss, but Adrianne was different. I wanted to spend every last waking minute with her. I let her take the lead. The kiss ended and I was breathless! This girl is just absolutely amazing.

"Niall I don’t know if you know this, but I really like you. And if this was just a in the moment thing, tell me now. I don’t want to get hurt."

"This was not just an in the moment thing! Adrianne I like you a lot and would have never even thought you like me back. I was trying to make you jealous when I kept complimenting Layla! I don’t like her, I like you! I would never do anything to hurt you! Please just give me a chance..."

"Of course." She said kissing my cheek and walking back in the room.

I stood there analyzing what had just happened. I slid down the wall into a sitting position, running my fingers through my hair. I did it. She actually said yes. I have to think if the most romantic date ever once we get out of this mess. I decided to call Candi wanting to make her feel bad about what she caused. The phone rang twice before she picked up.

"Yea Niall."

"So did you hear?"

"What?"

"After your little stunt to make Harry love you, Katie and Harry broke up. So that same night Harry got drunk because he was so upset and thought he was ok to drive. He crashed and now we are in the hospital with now four girls all over him. And you know what three of those girls have boyfriends and they don’t seem to care. You know why!? Because they care and actually have a heart."

"Are you telling me you’re walking out on me? After all I did for you?!"

"You did nothing but make my life a living hell..."

"Fine, but if you do you'll know the consequence. Everyone in school will never look at you as a cool football jock. Instead they will just feel bad for you and think the same thing is wrong with you like your parents."

“You know Candi, you can go and tell everyone my secret if it means hurting my friends. You are just a low life bitch who ruins everyone lives!”

“Whatever Niall. Just remember that I will pick when to let everyone know what kind of freak show you and your family are! I want your stuff out of here by noon tomorrow or I’ll throw them all out!”
I heard the line cut off on the other end. Where was I going to go? I couldn’t think straight now, there is too much on my plate. So I went back inside and put my hand around Adrianne. She looked up at me and gave me a half smile. I didn’t want to see her or the other girls upset, so I began to sing.

“One day you'll come into my world and say it all
You say we'll be together even when you're lost
One day you'll say these words
I thought but never said
You say we're better off together in our bed.” I began.

All of a sudden Louis, Zayn, and Liam jumped in. We all were singing looking straight at our girl’s now.

“I want you here with me
Like how I pictured it
So I don't have to keep imagining

Come on, jump out at me
Come on, bring everything
Is it too much to ask for something great?”

Every once and a while one of us would sing to Layla so she doesn’t feel left out. Just then Harry groaned. We all stopped, it was dead silent in the room and Layla ran to get the nurse. When the nurse came she asked us what happened. We told her that we were singing to comfort the girls when Harry groaned.

“Ok well I’m going to have to have you guy’s song again. Is that a problem?” She asks.

“Umm… No. No, it’s not. Do we sing the same song?”

“Yes, and same part.”

So we sang again this time my heart was pounding. I was so nervous about what would happen. He groaned again this time moving a little. His eyes slowly opened, and everyone was dead silent. The first thing he did was grab Layla’s hand and her eyes lit up.

“Layla. You’re here.” He moaned and smiled at her.

“Oh my god, Harry! Are you ok?”

“I’m fine love. Are you ok?” Other than being emotionally unstable I’m fine she laughed.

While they were having there little conversation everyone in the room was staring at them like it was a movie. They were so happy but you can tell Katie was hurt that the first one Harry noticed was Layla.

“Everyone is here to. Look around.” Layla whispered.
Harry looked around at each one of our faces smiling, until he got to Katie.
“Who is she?”
