A Love Story

"El! Hey!" I squeaked as Eleanor walked through the bakery doors!

"Katie! Haha so why don't you do me a favor and make me a batch of cupcakes?"

"You got it! Let me go make the batter I'll be right out."

I grabbed a bowl, a whisk, and I went to grab the flour bag off the top shelf. As I pulled half the bag out I realized someone had bought a new bag and left it open. It was to heavy for me to carry and I got scared, the bag kept slipping more and more and I couldn't hold it any longer!

"HARRY! HARRY HELP!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.

"KATIE! What's wrong!" I heard Harry yell and the sound if his running foot steps got louder.

"The flour is to heavy and I can't ho--" I tried saying but when he came to grab the bag it fell on both of us.

"Wow.... I made a mess! Marley is going to kill me!" I whispered covered in flour.

"HAHAHAHA! Katie your fine! She wont get mad." Harry said while throwing flower at me.

"Hey! Take this!" I said throwing some back.

All of a sudden we are having a flour fight on the floor. I slipped on some flour and fell on top of Harry, we were laughing so hard its like the world had disappeared. That's when my blue eyes met his emerald green eyes and locked on each other. I didn't know what to do, I liked him but didn't want to ruin our friendship!

"Hey what's going on in here!?" I have never been more released in my life to hear this voice. Marley. Harry instantly shot up and said,

"Hey Marley! Uh sorry about the mess, it was my fault I couldn't hold the bag. And when it fell on us we kind of had a flour fight... I'm so sorry! I'll clean it up and buy another bag of flour for you."

"Oh you young kids these days! You expect me to believe that a young strong man like you couldn't hold a bag of flour? What ever it was it's ok. Just clean it up quickly." And she walked out winking at me.

Harry's POV.

"HARRY! HARRY HELP!" Katie yelled.

My heart stopped. Why is she yelling for help? I ran to the kitchen in the back to see what was going on and saw her holding a bag of flour over her head. I went to go help her but once I got to her she dropped the flour. She looked worried so to cheer her up I threw a ball of flour at her and we ended up having a flour fight. She slipped on some flour and fell on me and our eyes met, I just stared at her beautiful blue eyes. Right when I was about to lean in to kiss her I heard Marley say

"Hey what's going on in here!?"
I knew Katie was worried that Marley would be upset at her so I took the blame.

"Hey Marley! Uh sorry about the mess, it was my fault I couldn't hold the bag. And when It fell on us we kind of had a flour fight... I'm so sorry! I'll clean it up and buy another bag of flour for you." That was all I can think of at this point, I was still a little wound up by what just happened between Katie and I.

"Oh you young kids these days! You expect me to believe that a young strong man like you couldn't hold a bag of flour? What ever it was it's ok just clean it up quickly." She wind at Katie and I hard her giggle a little behind me. God she's so cute!

"Why did you take the blame?" Katie said grabbing my wrist. I wanted to say so bad because I love you but I had to just say,

"Because I knew you were worried that she would get mad at you. Well I have to go buy another bag of flour so lets clean this up fast!"

She just smiled and helped shovel the flour on the flour to the trash until it was all clean. I gave her a hug and left to buy the flour.

Katie's POV.

Wow that was breath taking I say while replaying what just happened in my head. Then I remembered that El was waiting for cupcakes. I dusted my self off and went to o talk to her.

"Woah! I didn't know making cupcakes was so messy!" El laughed

"Its a long story! Can you keep a secret?"

"Oh god your pregnant!"

"No! I think I like Harry."

"Well you guys have been friends for a long time now are you sure you want to go down that path? But to be honest I think you guys would make a PERFECT couple!"

"That's what I'm worried about! I don't want to screw up our relationship! Oh El! What am I going to do! Wait? You and Louis were friends before you started dating, how is it going between you guys? The last time I talked to him was the day before yesterday and we had a strong argument about cats or dogs..."

"Just go with your heart! And things between Lou and I are great! I couldn't be more happy!"

"What if he doesn't like me back? I can't take that kind of rejection! I love him he has always been there for me and I really don't want to mess up my relationship with him as friends!"

"No problem love! Louis and Harry are like brothers so I'll just ask Lou to ask him what he thinks of you, and I gotta go I promised I would meet Dani and Perri at the park with cupcakes. I'm going to have to tell them I didn't have time to get them. Haha!"

"Ok bye! And tell the girls I said Hi!
