One Direction's New kids

Chapter 12

Sanali walks down to the living room, where the boys were. She stops when she hears them talking about Drew and herself.
“Yeah, I think she’s alright,” she heard Niall say.
“We should’ve gotten boys like I suggested,” Zayn said.
“We’ll their here now,” Liam said.
“You don’t suppose we can exchange them, do you?” Harry wondered out loud.
“It’d probably make them feel even more unwanted,” Louis said. Sanali couldn’t hold back her whimper. She heard the guys get up and walk toward where she was. She slid down the wall and crouched in the corner so she wouldn’t have to look at them.
“Oh no,” Harry says, “Sanali, how much did you hear.” Sanali looks up at them with anger. She gets up and says: “Just enough,” before she ran to her room and locked the door. She turned the radio all the way up. The announcer was announcing a song that was coming on. “This song is for the best boy band since the Beatles, One Direction. The song started:

Can't ever get it right
No matter how hard I try
And I've tried

Well, I put up a good fight
But your words cut like knives
And I'm tired
As you bre-

Sanali turned the radio off. The music kept going weirdly, except it sound live.
Tell me I'm a screwed up mess
That I never listen, listen
Tell me you don't want my kiss
That you need your distance, distance
Tell me anything but don't you say he's what you're missing baby
If he's the reason that you're leaving me tonight
Spare me what you think and
Tell me a lie

Well you're the charming type
That little twinkle in your eye
Gets me every time

And well there must have been a time
I was the reason for that smile
So keep in mind
As you take what's left of you and I

Tell me I'm a screwed up mess
That I never listen, listen
Tell me you don't want my kiss
That you need your distance, distance
Tell me anything but don't you say he's what you're missing baby
If he's the reason that you're leaving me tonight
Spare me what you think and
Tell me a lie

Tell me a lie... Tell me a lie... Tell me a lie...
Tell me I'm a screwed up mess
That I never listen, listen
Tell me you don't want my kiss
That you need your distance, distance
Tell me anything but don't you say he's what you're missing baby
If he's the reason that you're leaving me tonight
Spare me what you think and
Tell me a lie

Tell me a lie... Tell me a lie... Tell me a lie...
Tell me a lie
Sanali walked slowly to her bedroom door. She opened it not sure what she would find. She wasn’t that happy to see the guy’s faces again.
“Go away,” she starts to close the door but Zayn stops it.
“We need to talk,” Zayn says.
“There’s nothing to talk about,” Sanali snaps, “You obviously don’t want us. But hey, don’t worry me and Drew will be out of your hair by tomorrow morning.”
“We still have something to say, so please let us in,” Liam says. Sanali opens the door and says:
“It’s your house, I guess.” She starts walking over to her bed. The guys walk in.
“Well, yeah, we’re like really sorry for the things we said,” Harry said.
“Oh really? Are you sorry for that ‘you don’t suppose we could exchange them, comment, Harry,” Sanali says, “Look, I don’t care about your stupid apology. I’m done being your charity case. Drew and I will be gone by the morning. Now don’t you guys have like a concert or something to sing? Why don’t you go harmonize with those, like you, cruel fans?” Sanali got up and started to pack her stuff. The guys just stood there gob smacked. Sanali starts to walk out to go get Drew.
“Where are you going,” Louis asked. Sanali turned, anger in her eyes.
“I’m going to get Drew to tell her to pack her stuff,” Sanali snaps, “Wanna know why? Because I don’t want us to live with people who don’t want us. We already don’t have our parents. I’ve had to sacrifice my childhood to make Drew happy and I thought you guys would actually be adults in our lives. I thought you guys were actually going to stick around but no! You guys don’t want us, just like our parents! What’s so wrong with us that nobody wants us? Are we that bad to keep around? Don’t worry we’re leaving! By the way, tell that fan girl that this poor orphan girl doesn’t care if she is in contact with really rich guys or not! And Louis you can take the swimsuit back! I don’t need nor want it!” Sanali stormed off to Drew’s room tears streaming down her face…
