Is It True?

Emma's POV

It had been two days since the incident with Zayn and Liam. Liam had hung out with me yesterday but Zayn, I hadn't heard from him. I hated it, he was one of my best friends. I loved him in that weird friend way that's hard to explain. Why? Why did he get mad? Why was he being selfish? Inconsiderate? A jerk? I don't know Zayn's Zayn's I'm not trying to change him.
I jumped as the front door of my room opened.
"Hey!" My mom looked at me.
"Bye!" I said getting up to shut the door in her face. I was stopped as she put her foot in the door.
"Not so fast! I opened the door to let your friend in!" She pushed someone in and slammed the door.
"Hey Liam." I said with my head down I didn't even know if it was Liam, I just assumed. I was shocked when I looked into the teary eyes of Zayn
"Wh-what does he have that I don't Em?" He asked at first I was confused, then I realized why he was acting the way he was the past few days...He-he-he was...jealous.
"Zayn..." I started. I stopped when he took his hand and pulled my chin up to his.
"Em, don't say it. Don't say I'm only your friend, just don't waste your breathe." He was about to cry I knew it and in one moment my heart locked up. My brain went dead. I will never know what made me do it. But the next thing I know my lips were locked in his, my body pressed against his, and...and it felt so...so right...Like it was always meant to be that way...


Liam's POV

I sat in my room alone. I hadn't heard from Zayn and I was still processing his anger. Why was he so mad? Emma just had a crush on me it was nothing too serious! Zayn always has to mess stuff up! I couldn't even tell Emma I felt the same way because she was crying! Even yesterday she was shaken up. It didn't help her bitch of a mom came home. I decided to go to Emma's.
When I got there I walked up the stairs into her room, her mom offered an escort but I refused. I got to her room, and opened the door. I cringed, my heart dropped, my knees went weak, I...I...I just died. I stood there watching her kiss Zayn. The worst part being...she looked like she meant it.
"Hey Emma!" I said trying not to let my sadness show.
"Hey Lee." She said her cheeks red with embarrassment. I hug her and Zayn just rubs his neck and looks down.
"Hey Liam I'm sorry for the other day." Zayn reaches out his hand, I accept his apology, But what I just saw, I'll never forget, I know she didn't mean it, Even if she looked like she did...She didn't mean it damn-it! Before I knew it tears were streaming down my face.

Zayn's POV

Emma's lips up against mine felt so right. Like it was meant to be. I can't describe the feeling, It was just great. Then Liam came in and looked...well...stunned. I don't know why he just started crying...Tears just started streaming down his face. Emma looked stunned, I looked stunned, Liam looked like he got hit by a bus.
"Liam, man, you ok?" I asked him grabbing his shoulder.
"I'm fine just...forget it ok?" He cried offering a fake smile to me and Em.
"You don't look fine Lee..." Emma said clearly not buying it.
"Why would I lie to you Em? I told you I'm fine!" He was forcing his voice to be cheery, You could hear the strain in his voice.
"Lee, please tell me..." Emma tried again.
"Emma, look into my eyes, I'm fine trust me. Don't worry!" He said hugging her.
"Ok Lee, I guess I believe you..." Em said, she herself about to cry.
"Oh Em, don't cry, I'm ok I promise." Liam said rocking her back and forth. But really me, Liam , and Em all knew there was something wrong.
