A Million Pieces

Niall's POV:
I heard a knock at my door. "Eh. They'll go away eventually. It's not worth getting out of the shower." I thought to myself. The knocking was very persistent. Finally it stopped. That's when my phone started ringing. I glanced over at it and saw a picture of Megan flashing on my screen. I thought about getting out to answer it but decided against it. "She can wait. It can't be that important."

Megan's POV:
"Oh my god Niall! This is really important!" I said as I repetitively knocked on the door. A few seconds later my face lit up. "Idea!" I squealed. I peered around the corner and stuck my hand in the gap between two of the bricks. I pulled my hand out and admired the key. I put the key in the hole and turned it. "Thank god he hasn't moved the key since 4th grade." I said as I pushed the door open. I shut it behind me and looked around for Niall. "Niall?" I asked. "Niall?" I looked in his bedroom. No Niall. I looked in the kitchen. No Niall. I looked everywhere. No Niall. One last place. "Niall? Are you in here?" I asked as I pushed through the bathroom door. "Oh fuck Niall!" I said shutting the door quickly.

Niall's POV:
"Not like you haven't seen it before love!" I screamed. I could hear her adorable giggle on the other side of the door. She came in a few seconds later with her hand over her eyes. "Is that necessary?" "Completely." "C'mon Megan. I don't mind. Were best friends. Now let me see those pretty blue eyes." She took her hand away from her eyes and smiled. I made her smile whenever I said that. "There they are." "Niall, we need to talk." The emphasis she put on need kind of worried me. I turned off the water and stepped out of the shower. "Can you hand me a towel?" I asked. I took the towel from her hands and shook my hair. I wrapped the towel around my waist and walked into my bedroom. She followed. "Be right back." I said as Megan just sat down on my bed. Something wasn't right. She wasn't being her normal self. Normally she would have flopped down on my bed and made herself at home. It was very, strange. I came back later, fully clothed, and sat on the bed next to her. "What's wr....." "Niall I'm pregnant." She cut me off. "That's great! Did you tell harry yet?" "It's yours Niall." I was completely taken aback. I was completely speechless. And after that, she was too. This was a first.

Megan's POV:
The look on his face was horrible. A mixture of shock, fright, and worry. He was at a loss for words. "Look Niall, I'm sor......" He put his finger at my mouth. "Don't be. Sorry is for people who are upset. I'm not upset." "Yes you are." "I'm not upset!" He insisted. "I'm thrilled! Just........" He trailed off. "Just what?" "Just scared." I grabbed his hand and entangled his fingers with mine. "Well got through this together." I say looking into his eyes. "Together." He repeated. I smiled and he did the same.

Savannah's POV:
"Hey baby sis. How'd it go?" "He took it really well. If anyone, I'm glad it's Niall. He's gonna be a great dad." I turned on the radio. "Too bad he might never get the chance. Or at least not with my kid." "What was that? I didn't hear you." "Nothing." She said sadly. All I could hear that night was Megan tossing and turning. Every few minutes she would scream his name. "Harry!" She would scream. I tried to wake her but it didn't work. Whenever I thought it was over, I would hear it again. "Harry!" She really missed him. It was really hard to see her in so much pain. She had to take pills for depression. I don't know how bad it was for her, but it was ten times worse to watch it happen. I hadn't heard her say anything in quite some time so I decided to take advantage of it and go to sleep.
