i was waiting out front with a guard for my cab to come. "what are we going to do burt" i asked the guard who was my only friend other than kelly, well me and kelly are not friends any more. " sweet heart you know what to do" he answered me, he was on my side in this. "i told you the plan now get ready, the cab is only a block away" sophie whispered. i noded in aggrement.
when the cab pulled up i started to cry but stopped myself before anyone could see, then i give burt a bear hug, it was weird to hug him becuase he was so mush taller than me like zayn, no no i can't think about him i know i will never see him so i can't think about him or i will break down. when burt pulled away he slipped a very small box in my back pocket, i smiled up at him, he had tears in his eyes. " be good kido" he whispered in my ear.
i climed in to the back of the "car", it was more like a moble jail wth the bars on the windows and in between the front and back seat. i looked at burt throgh the bared window and waved, he mouthed good bye. i just sat there when the car started to move, looking out the back, back at the only home i had since i was consitered carzy.
" did he give you the box, like you asked" sophie asked i nodded. " hey do you want to listen to some music or some thing" the cab driver asked. "yes please" then a pop song came on that i barly payed attention to un till i hread the voice, his voice, zayn's voice. he must have made it big i started to sob , it was a " i am so happy yet wish i was there" kinda cry then i turned to sophie whowas siting on here knees next to me in the back seat, she looked at me with tears in her eyes she new it was him to.
once in homes chaple
"mum, can i go in the back yard please" i asked my mom parying that she would say becuase if she did this was my chance to run, i had the box that burt had given me. inside was a fake ID, socile sucurity number, fake drver lisense, and a check for 8000 dollors. i had just stuffed my face so i would not be hungry for awhile.
"yes dear just stay in the finced area please." "sure thing mum" i replied. once walked around the in ground pool i saw the gate to the fince on the other side was a dince wooded area, but it was really my freedom on the other side. " sophie go see what ahead in those woods" i told her becuae i need to know where i was going. she came back "nothing but trees for miles then a river that lead to a path and that lead to a road, thats our best option out of here" i nodded then started walking out the gate in in to my new life
