There's Someone Always Watching
Chapter Twenty Seven
Niall's POV
The urges were getting stronger. I don't know how long I would last. Every time I get near her, I have to run away before I do it.
She's not ready.
Tessa's POV
It said nothing. Nothing about girls. Nothing about bites. Was this even a diary? It wasn't much to care for, nothing interesting. Maybe Atesslavoyians didn't have as much of a drama-filled life as humans.
I set his diary under my bed, just in case someone was in my room while I was not. I would return it tomorrow.
I climbed onto my bed, watching the wall as it change colors. Turquoise, purple, sky blue, orange, yellow, teal. I'm bored. A princess shouldn't be bored. Right? I think so.
I stood up, making my bed. I exited my room, thinking of where to go. I wanted to explore. How about the woods?
I easily snuck past the woods, making a mental note of getting better and more alert ones. The woods were huge. I saw a little pathway and decided to follow that. There were oaks and ferns and pine trees, towering over me.
A twig snapped to the right of me.
"Hello?" I whispered. There was another snap, then birds above me sounded alert. Something was scaring them.
I pushed past the bush.
Niall's POV
I heard a high-pitched scream.
You are welcome
