There's Someone Always Watching
Chapter Sixteen
Tessa's POV
"They're the kind that killed your father!"
I stop. No.
"You're funny, Niall. Now, why am I really here?" He looks at me annoyed.
"I'm. Not. Kidding," he says through gritted teeth. I step back, afraid he will try to hurt me again. His expression softens.
"We just don't want you to get hurt, Tessa," he says. I raise an eyebrow.
"We?"he nods. He takes me over to one wall, and taps a pattern of things on the wall. Tappy-idy tappy tap tap...
Suddenly, the multi-color wall opens just enough for us to squeeze out of it, and Niall shows me out of the room. We walk through a number of hallways, all wooden-looking but huge.
"This is the Castle. Like I said before, you're father ruled over our land and that is the reason he could not stay with you in the, how you say, human world.
We walk through a glass-like door, a glass mixed with a dash of purple, and turquoise, and other various colors.
"This is the Balcony. You may come here whenever, as long as you know you as safe and secluded- that is, if you wish to be secluded." Niall opens purple curtains, and a balcony it is. One with no openings, though. It is covered with transparent glass so I can see in.
A crowd of people stand at the bottom of the Castle.
"That," Niall emphasizes, "is we."
"Princess Atessa! Princess Atessa!" The crowd cheers.
You are welcome
