There's Someone Always Watching

Tessa's POV

I woke up in a strange room. It was a bright... Yellow? Aqua?Violet? The color of the room kept changing, frequently, maybe in the blink of an eye.

"H-hello?"

there was a door at the left of the bed. Painfully, I got up and pushed on the handle. It was locked.

Was I kidnapped? Did I die, go to Hell, and this was punishment for something? Being in this locked room, going mad?

"Help," I said wearily. What happened to me? Why do I feel so weak?

"Over here, love," I heard a familiar voice say. I turned around, a saw Niall. I stepped back.

"Get away from me, Niall." He stepped closer to me.

"Why, Princess? Don't you wanna know why you're here?" My eyes widened.

"What do you know," I asked him, "about my being here?" He laughed brightly, yet scarily. He directed me to sit on the bed I had woken up on, and I obeyed the scary vampire boy.

"This is your father's homeland, mine too. We have a name for it, Atesslavoy, that's where your name came from, except your name is Atessa. Your father ruled over Atesslavoy, and that is why he could not stay with your mother. He and his people weren't allowed to have contact with... Humans, so to say. It was one of the many laws your grandfather, Gramwell the Eighth, had made."

"Okay, but why am I here? And how do you know my name," I pressed.

"Your father, duh," he said. "You are here because your friends, er... Louis, and Zayn, yes! They are one of the other clans, one that has betrayed Atesslavoy. They have done your father many wrongs, and you are not allowed with them." My legs sprung up, making me stand.

"What?! No, they are my friends, I KNOW they will not hurt me in any way! I have known them all my life, and they have-"

"THEIR kind were the ones that killed your father!"
