Our footsteps echo of the brick walls.we breathe in and knock on the office door. We enter and are met by our new principal.
he had short blond hair and beautiful blue eyes.
"kyna and kaava is that right" he questions his eyes sparkling
"yes sir though it's pronounced keeva sir" kyna says for me
"how different, where are you from?"
"ireland sir" kyna mutters
" nice, heres your locker numbers and schedules, have a nice day girls"
he knew all about our past and agreed to put us together.
we walk out and go to our first class.
latin. argh!
as we walk in we get wolf whistles from the boys and death glares from the girls.
when we get to the teachers desk kyna explains that i don't talk.
"she will talk when she is told to" she snaps raising her voice whilst getting the attention of the hole class.
" i don't think you heard correctly miss. She can't talk. If she could she would. So if you were a better teacher you would've heard me say it"
kyna has as short temper with people who are not worth our time.
the teacher leans back, gobsmacked.
" if you don't mind we would like to get to our seats"
"o-of course girls third row there s-should be some seats empty" she stutters.
we waltz down the gap between desks and sit in the seats.
when she starts the lesson i slowly loose concentration. I grab my phone and text kyna

i look at kyna and she sighns lets go. i look up and sighn What if mark finds out. She sighns he wont.
We gather our stuff and get up.
the teacher looks like she was gonna say something but stopped herself. We got to the teachers desk and ask for our textbooks.
reluctantly, she hands us our textbooks and we walk out.
