Truth or Dare

"Come on Rayne! We are only going out to dinner!" Liam yells up the stairs.
I sigh and shake my head.
"Do you know how long it takes for me to get ready?" i ask.
I hear him groan.
"Shut up and wait." i say.
He laughs.

I pick out my outfit and slip it on.
I quickly get out my makeup and apply it.
I take a good look in the mirror then walk down the stairs.
Liam's eyes are wide.
I smile.

"What are you staring at Mr.Payne?" i ask.
"Oh just my beautiful best friend." he smiles.
I giggle.
"Well shall we?" he asks.
I smile.
"We shall."

We get to the restaurant and get seated at our table.
"This is nice." i say.
He nods.
"Ello... My name is Faith and i will be your waitress this evening." i blonde girl says.
"Faith?" Liam says.
She looks at him.
"Liam!" she smiles.
"I haven't seen you in forever." he says.
"Wow... it's fancy meeting you here. Is this your date?"
He shakes his head.
"We are just best friends." he says.
She turns to me.
"What's your name?"
"I'm Rayne." i say.
"Wow... how unique. It sounds like the word Rain." she smiles.
"It's spelled differently though." i say.
"Well what can i get you all to drink?"
"Hmmm... i'll have a Dr.Pepper." i say.
"I'll have a Pepsi." Liam says.
"Alright... Be right back." she says.

"She's nice." i say.
"Yea she is dating Niall." he says.
"I didn't know Niall had a girlfriend." i say.
He shrugs.
"Oh! I have something for you." he says.
I nod.
"What?" i ask.
"Well i know your birthday was yesterday... but i got you a present." he smiles.
He gets out a box with blue wrapping paper around it.
"What is it?"
"Just open it." he says.
I carefully open the paper.
When i open the box...
Inside is a bracelet.
A beautiful charm bracelet.
"Oh my god... Thank you." i say almost crying.
"I bought it yesterday." he says.
"I figured you would like it."
I nod.
"I do... i just love it." i say.

"Oh it's you two." I hear a familiar voice say.
Lauren.
i roll my eyes.
"Liam do you want to come dine with us?" she asks.

She has a thing for Liam.
Although Liam never liked her.
Ever since we were kids she has wanted Liam all to herself.
Liam always refused.

"No thank you... i want to dine with my best friend." he says turning to me.
"Oh come on Lieum." she says.
"It's Liam and no sorry." he says.
She turns to me.
"Hmmm... your style is so 2 years ago Rayne." she says.
"And your isn't?" i ask.
She gives me a dirty look.
"Looks like you little bitch wants a fight." she says to Liam.

I see Faith with our drinks.
Lauren grabs mine and dumps it all over me.
I gasp.
"There it looks better now." she smiles.
She then turns and walks off.

"Rayne let's get you home." Liam says.
"Nice to see you Faith." he says.
"Nice to see you too."

We get home and i run up to my room.
I lock the door and cry.
I hear a knock.
"Rayne? Can i come in?" liam asks.
"J-Just hold on." i say.
i quickly get up and i change into my pajamas, throwing my hair in a bun.
I unlock the door and jump on my bed.
I hear my door open.

"Rayne? Are you ok?" he asks sitting next to me on my bed.
"I don't know what i ever did to her." i say.
Liam slips his arm around me, and pulls me close.
"You will be ok Rayne... I'm here." he says.
I sob.
"You will be ok Love." he says.
Love.
The one word i wanted to hear.
I wrap my arms around him for a hug.
