There's No Such Thing As Too Young

I Can't Afford The Medicine That Feeds What I Need

"Please."

"No."

"Please."

"No way."

"Drella."

"Zayn."

"Babe!"

"No!" I exclaimed, pushing past Zayn to get into the hallway.

In an instant I was hauled over his shoulder and I squealed in fright, gripping onto his shirt.

"Please, Drella! I've already told Mom that we'll go round!" Zayn begged, holding onto my legs.

"I don't want to!"

Zayn received a call from his mom earlier today, asking if we would go to dinner tonight as she wanted to spend time with just Zayn and I.

"Is the perfect couple having their first fight?" Liam asked, gasping dramatically as he sat next to Harry and Louis in the living room of the Zayn’s house.

"Hush, Liam. Please, baby! I'll do anything you want if you do this for me! I'll give you the best sex in the world!" Zayn said, causing me to blush and smack his back as he talked about our sex life in front of his friends.

"No."

"What's bothering you? Meeting my Dad or eating?" Zayn asked, still holding onto my legs as I dangled over his shoulder.

"Eating." I said softly, hoping the guys wouldn't hear.

"Babe." Zayn sighed, lifting me up and placing me back on my feet.

I held onto him as the blood rushed back to my head.

Zayn has been making me eat a considerable amount of food ever since we've been together and I wasn't used to it.

I was always bloated from not being used to consuming so much food and I had gained Three pounds!

Luckily, I was taking laxatives to wash my system out.

Zayn didn't know, and they were very easy to get as work stocked many different brands.

"I'll get you out of eating if you come, I promise you. Please, just do this for me." He begged, holding my face in his hands.

His eyes were wide with his bottom lip jutting out and I knew he wanted me to do this.

I sighed and gave in.

"Yay!" Zayn grinned, kissing me deeply.

"What time do we need to leave?" I asked as he pulled away, I ignored the cat calls coming from Louis, Harry and Liam.

"At about Six, it's half Five now."

"I'll go and change." I told him and he nodded, a triumphant smile plastered on his face.

I rolled my eyes and turned to head upstairs, into Zayn's room.

I shut the door behind me.

I was so nervous.

I know I'd met his Mom before, but was she going to act differently in her own home?

What was his Dad like?

Oh god.

I was going to start hyperventilating if I didn't calm down.

I bit my lip as my purse caught my eye.

I couldn't help myself and grabbed it, rifling through the contents until I found what I was looking for.

A box of co-codamol.

I managed to save a few boxes of prescription painkillers after my Grandma died.

I'd been hiding them from Zayn as I knew he'd go ape and throw them away.

He'd already hidden anything I could cut myself with, and I actually had to be supervised when shaving my legs.

I fumbled with the box, popping out six pills.

That should be enough to numb everything for a while.

I was aware that this was very dangerous, but I used to do this all the time when Grandma was seriously ill and just before I met Zayn.

I also knew this wasn't a good idea, as I hadn't eaten all day.

Zayn had made me a sandwich earlier, but I had disposed of it when he wasn't around.

I felt awful, but I couldn't stop myself.

I swallowed the pills with the water from the glass on Zayn's bedside.

I loved the feeling of not feeling anything and not being aware of what was happening around me.

I heard footsteps approaching the door and I hastily shoved the box back into the bottom of my bag.

Zayn opened the door and looked at me sitting on the bed, a confused frown on his face.

"I thought you were getting dressed..." He said, still frowning as he opened his closet looking for a shirt to change into.

"I couldn't decide what to wear." I lied, biting my nails.

"You look fine as you are, you look as beautiful as always." Zayn grinned, pulling his shirt off and throwing it in the laundry basket.

I shrugged and decided to keep what I was wearing on.

Zayn pulled on a clean, black crewneck with black jeans.

He was in all black, which was my favorite look on him.

"Ready?" He asked, holding his hand out for me.

"Yeah." I nodded, grabbing my bag and taking his hand.

I stumbled a bit as I stood up and Zayn steadied me.

"Are you alright?" He asked, his voice concerned.

"Yeah, I just tripped over my own feet." I denied, suddenly feeling the effects of the strong painkillers.

Zayn nodded but something told me that he didn't fully believe the lie I'd just thrown out.

The ride was shorter than I expected.

It was only Twenty minutes or so.

I wasn't really paying attention to the bad rap music that was playing, thank god.

It was awful.

"Don't be nervous, my Mom loves you already and I know Dad will." Zayn comforted, helping me out of the car.

The house was decorated with beautiful.

I breathed in deeply, holding onto Zayn's arm as he guided me u pto the wooden porch, that had a basket of beautiful flowers blooming in it.

I loved flowers.

The door opened before Zayn could knock, revealing a smiling Mommy who was bouncing with excitement.

"Hello, you two!" She greeted, taking my hand and pulling me into the house gently.

I heard Zayn shut the door behind us, and he rested a hand on my lower back as his Mom hugged him, and he responded with a kiss on the cheek.

She also hugged me, treating me like I was porcelain, similar to how Zayn did.

Their house was warm and cozy, I could picture Zayn creating chaos here as he grew up.

There was a sweet smell in the air and I assumed Zayn’s Mom had been cooking delicious treats upon our visit.

"Honey! The kids are here!" She yelled, clapping her hands.

Zayn placed his hands on my hips from behind, rubbing soothing circles to calm me.

I heard footsteps approach us, and a man, who looked similar to Zayn was soon stood before me.

I could definitely see Zayn in him.

"Hello, you're the famous Drella then?" He chuckled, holding his hand out for me.

I giggled quietly, taking his hand and shaking it politely.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, your home is very beautiful."

"Thank you, love. Let's all take a seat in the living room, and chat properly." Zayn’s dad grinned, taking his wife’s hand and leading her away.

"Well done." Zayn whispered in my ear, giving my hips a squeeze.

He led me to the living room, which was warm from the elegant, wood burning fire on the feature wall.

Zayn's parents took a seat on the sofa opposite us, as we were sat on the two seater couch, cuddled up closely.

Zayn had his arm wrapped around my shoulders, and he pressed a kiss to my forehead.

"Aw!" Mrs. Malik exclaimed, making both Zayn and I jump.

I blushed crimson and hid my face in Zayn's neck.

"Sweetie, you're embarrassing them." Mr. Malik chided, as his wife giggled out an apology.

"They're just so cute together! She's so beautiful and so well spoken, nothing like that other girl he was with!"

"Mom." Zayn sighed, obviously not wanting to talk about his ex-girlfriend.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

"What have you two kids got planned for this week?" Zayn’s dad wondered.

"Just dinner and quiet time." Zayn answered, stroking my cheek with his cold fingertips.

I leaned into his touch, loving the feeling of his skin against mine.

"Are you sure you don't want to spend it with us, like the rest of the boys and their families? There's plenty of room for you both!" His Mom assured us.

"We're fine, Mom." Zayn replied.

She was just about to reply when a beep stopped her.

"Ooh! Dinner's ready! I hope you like spicy food, Drella! Come and help me, Darling!" She gushed, pulling her husband up.

I immediately started panicking when they left the room and I turned to Zayn.

Damn, these pills aren't really taking the edge off enough.

"Please, just do your best." He begged, clutching my hands as they shook.

"Zayn-" I stated, but was cut off by Mrs. Malik calling us through to the kitchen.

He shot me an apologetic look and pulled me up, taking me to the kitchen where my nightmare was awaiting.

The food smelled delicious and spicy.

I was hungry, that was for sure.

But, I couldn't consume so many calories.

Delicious food meant lots of calories.

Zayn pulled out a chair for me and sat next to me, brushing my hair from my face.

"You're not vegetarian are you, Drella?" Mr. Malik asked, placing a plate in front of me.

"Erm no, I'm not." I gulped, suddenly wishing I was as I stared at the meal on the plate.

Zayn squeezed my thigh under the table and I pinched his arm discretely, letting him know I was angry at him for breaking his promise.

He audibly sighed, but didn't move from me.

Soon, we were all seated around the table.

"Dig in! I feel like I have a food critic sampling my food." Mrs. Malik said, causing everyone to chuckle.

I gulped again as I picked up my fork, gripping it so tightly my knuckles turned white.

I hated eating in front of people.

Zayn knew that.

He rubbed my thigh as he ate, encouraging me.

"You have some beautiful rings, Drella. Where did you get them?" Mrs. Malik asked, making small talk.

I mentally screamed in thanks, being able to put off eating for a little while longer.

"Zayn got me them." I spoke timidly.

She nodded as she listened and smiled proudly at her child.

I'd started cutting up my food, pushing it around my plate as the conversations around the dinner table changed constantly.

I was starting to feel sick.

Not just from taking those pills, but from the hunger too.

"Zayn, do you remember that time when I was called to your school because you turned all the desks upside down at break time?" Mrs. Malik asked, causing Mike to laugh and nod.

"How about when you and Liam used to drive up the freeway at Five miles an hour?" Mr. Malik wondered.

I laughed myself, Liam and Mike were a right pair when they were together.

"What do you have planned for this year? It seems like forever since your Dad and I have seen you all perform."

"We're not sure yet, we are taking some time off to finish up the album though. I also shouldn't be saying this, but we were emailed the other day about going on another tour!" Zayn said excitedly, I gasped.

"Really? Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, smiling at him.

"It completely slipped my mind, baby! That's your fault for being so beautiful and distracting." Zayn mumbled, rubbing his nose against mine.

He was obviously trying to butter me up.

I blushed again, embarrassed about the PDA in front of his parents.

They didn't seem to care, and it only sent his Mom 'awing' again.

I think they were really happy for Zayn.

Finally, dinner was finished and I relaxed.

I was able to eat nothing, and it went unnoticed by Mr. and Mrs. Malik.

Zayn and I were retreating to the living room after offering to wash the dishes, of course his mother wasn't having it, when I suddenly felt extremely drowsy and dizzy.

I grabbed onto the wall to support and steady my weak body and Zayn noticed, holding onto my waist and arm.

"Drella, what’s wrong?" He rushed, I shook my head.

I was trying to focus on reality and distract Zayn from thinking there was anything wrong with me.

These tablets had finally taken full effect.

I stood back up straight with Zayn still supporting me.

I focused my eyes on him for a few seconds, before the dizziness overpowered me and blackness took over my vulnerable frame.

The last thing I remember is falling into Zayn's arms as he frantically called my name.

Awesome fanfic! I honestly at first thought I wasn't going to enjoy it but now if has been the one that I have became addicted to. I was really happy about the ending and everything about the last few chapters. I think my favourite part was when Zayn busted up Megan and her group pretty badly, and then all if the last chapter. I am very sad to see this fanfic go but it will always be one of my favourites like I said. So anyway.....I expect to see more great stories in the future!!!!

This was amazing. Truly amazing. Great job!
