There's No Such Thing As Too Young

*Zayn's POV*

"Tour time!" Liam shouted as the bus pulled away from Drella's house.

The interior of the bus was really nice.

The floor was laminate, with black couches on either sides of the wall, a curtain that could be drawn, separating us from the driver.

There was a small kitchen, with a microwave, multiple cupboards, a mini fridge, a cooler, toaster and kettle.

We were pretty lucky.

It was nice to actually tour like this knowing we’ve been touring in a plane for four years.

I looked to my side to see Harry and Liam wrestling each other on one of the leather couches.

I sighed, missing Drella already.

I couldn't get the sight of her tear stained face out of my head.

"I'm going back to bed." I mumbled, yawning.

"I'll join you on that." Louis said, his face just as glum as mine.

He's really fallen for Emily, and it's nice to see him happy after his ex- girlfriend.

We claimed our bunks, choosing ones that were opposite to each other.

I kicked my shoes off, pulling my shirt over my head.

Louis copied me, and let out a tired sigh.

"You're missing Emily, huh?" I asked.

"Yeah, I mean, I really like her, dude! She's just the most perfect thing in the world, it's almost like Eleanor never existed." Louis explained, and I nodded.

I noticed something when he turned his head.

Oh my god.

"Look at the state of your neck!" I pointed out, laughing at the dark hickeys scattered all down his neck, leading down his chest.

Louis blushed.

"Fuck off! She gets feisty sometimes! You can talk, look at your back!" Louis chided, spinning me around.

I awkwardly bent to see my back, it was difficult, but I saw what Louis was talking about.

I had red scratch marks all over my back and shoulders.

Louis was basically doubled over laughing.

"Shut up." I retorted, punching him in the arm.

"Chill, dude! You know what they say about the quiet ones." Louis winked, making himself laugh louder.

I flipped him off without a word, climbing into my newly claimed bunk and drawing back the curtain.

I decided to text Drella before I had a nap, just to make sure she's okay.

I selected her contact, chuckling at the name I'd given her.

To: Lion cub <3
Sent: 6:42
How are you, beautiful?

I hit send and waited for a few minutes, before my phone vibrated on my chest.

From: Lion cub <3
Received: 6:44
I'm missing you, I can't believe you're not here right now!

I replied immediately, feeling my chest clench as I thought about her being alone.

To: Lion cub <3
Sent: 6:46
I'm missing you too, gorgeous! I'll Skype you later, after you've been to work! I can't handle not seeing your perfect face!

My phone buzzed again.

From: Lion cub <3
Received: 6:47
You're so soppy! And yeah, I'll talk to you later, I need to get ready for school, baby!

I smiled at her words, I was a soppy bastard at heart.

To: Lion cub <3
Sent: 6:51
Okay! Have a good day and be safe, I love you!

I awaited her reply.

From: Lion cub <3
Received: 6:52
I love you too!

I grinned like an idiot, locking my phone and tucking it under my pillow.

I was a lucky guy.

Only a few weeks until she was back in my arms.
