Behind Her Smile [Louis]

“Jess Richards?” a guy in black called my name.
“Yea?” I smiled kindly.
“I’m Paul, I’ve been told to pick you up.” Everything on this guy spoke out kindness.
“Could I help you with your bags?” I shook my head.
“No thanks” I don’t know why I didn’t allow him, I guess I just don’t want to be depended on someone.
The ride to their hotel wasn’t as bad as I assumed. Paul was really kind, it was nice to talk to someone about really nothing.
“JESSJESSJESSJESSJESS” Niall basically jumped into my arms.
“Nice to see you too, cutie” I laughed, trying to get him off me.
“This is going to be so great!” he laughed, pulling me into a hug. “I’m really glad to see you!” I laughed. Has someone ever told you that? Because I guarantee you, it feels amazing. It feels wonderful when someone tells you they’ve missed you. Because he basically did, right?
“How was your interview?” I tried to show some interest, but I was really new in all this, so I’m not sure how to react to all this.
“same old, same old. C’mon let’s go surprise Louis” he laughed and suddenly my hearts stopped.
He doesn’t know? What if he’s going to be mad at Niall to bring me.
“You didn’t tell him?” I hissed underneath my breath.
“Oh did I not mention that?” he ignored my eyecontact and practically ran away from me.
“Wait Niall!” I ran after him.
“Hey Louis!” Niall yelled.
“What?” I heard the sound of his voice, what made me shiver all over and the sound of a shower.
“Get you ass over here, your girlfriend is here!” I shot Niall some mad glances.
“What are you talkin-“ A naked Louis with only a towel covering his lower half showed up. I gasped. Again.
“Oh, Jess!” his confusing face turned into a big smile. “Well uh”, he looked at his –still wet- body and looked up again “let me first put on some clothes.” My smile faded when he disappeared. I made a huge mistake to come, this is so awkward. My thoughts were going crazy, and I was just standing awkwardly in his doorway, and Niall was gone, and..
“Hi, Jess. I’m glad you’re here.” Liam smiled friendly when passing by.
“I’m ready, so how did you got here?” Louis was now standing less than 5 inches away from me, and I was so afraid he’d hear my heartbeat pounding like crazy.
The next hour we spent talking about his band. He asked me some questions too, but I always found my way out of it, I thought he was so much more interesting than I was. SO why bother him with my pathetic life?
“You’re so great, Jess” he blurted out.
“What?” the amount of beats my heart made in one second was incredible.
“I mean, you’re so fun to hang out with. I have lovely chats and I feel myself with you. I seriously never felt this way around a girl.” I looked at my side, to see if there was help for me, because I had no idea how to react to something like this.
“You’re great too, dude” I punched my fist to his shoulder.

Louis laughed and those crinkles by his eyes showed up. I wanted to look away, but it seems to be everywhere. How he literally can light up a room, I don’t know.
But Louis Tomlinson, you’re my weakness.
“Hey, dude are you hungry?” He punched me back at my shoulder with his fist. I laughed and ignored the explosion of aches in my stomach. I don’t understand how people can call it butterflies, butterflies are light and gracefully like the wind. But those things in my stomach, were not gracefully at all.
“A little” I confessed, still fascinated by the laughter in his eyes.He stood up and reached his hand to pull me straight. I took it without hesitation, it was like he lit me on fire. It actually hurt, it hurts like hell, because he didn’t let my hand go. His touch around my hand only tightened.
I wanted to ask him why he’d torture me like that, but the smile in his eyes made me want to shut up forever.
He let go of my hand as soon as we reached a place where more people were around.
A curly guy showed up in front of my face and his smile enchanted me.
“Harry” he simply stated.
“Jess” I laughed, by his behavior.
“So, Jess. Are you and Boo dating?” He asked friendly.
“Uh Boo?” I raised my eyebrows, still laughing.
“Louis Tomlinson” He started eating a banana.
“Uh, no..”
“Great” he smiled.
“She’s mine!” I heard an Irish protest while on the same moment I felt him jumping on my back.
“Niall, dork” I laughed, trying not to fall.
“You love me, admit it.” He laughed.
“I love you” I admitted, laughing at him.
“So, you’re dating Niall?” Harry raised his eyebrows, smiling kindly.
“Not exactly.” Niall exaggerated a pout.
Harry laughed. “Well, it looks like we’re going to have lots of fun together the following weeks” he winked. My attention caught Louis, who was looking at us for several seconds now, he forced a smile once he noticed I was looking at him.
“Let me help you.” I walked towards Louis, who was carrying something to eat.
“Thanks, I saw you had a chat with Hazz” I turned to see Harry and Niall talking to each other.
“Uh, yea. He seems lovely.” I smiled.
“He truly is.” His smiled didn’t reach his eyes.
“It’s pretty hectic here, let’s go eat this while watching a movie or?”
“Sure” I smiled, following him.

Our plates were standing on the table in front of the sofa. To make myself a little more comfortable I put my shoes off and put my feet on the sofa, when I was about to lean back , I felt some arms around my waist. And fireworks exploded in my stomach, it felt like I was blown up from the inside out.
“Are you cold?” he didn’t even let me answer, he was already putting a blanket around my body.
First I was pretty tense but then I relaxed and when he tighten his grip around my body I leaned against his torso, and let my head rest against his chest.
I focused on the television again, but couldn’t get over the fact how great this felt.
I don’t want him to ever let me go. I want to look at his face without being creepy, I want to kiss his soft lips, I want to be the reason behind his smile. I want to be his.
I love him. I love him so much, and it kills me.
