Live As We Know It

{Marcel's POV}

Niall and Zayn helped Olivia into the car, where she laid out on the back seat, complaining of head pain. Louis and Liam stayed back with me, helping me scoop that creep off the ground.

"Where you want him?" Liam asked, his voice rough under the weight of Luke.

"Lay him by his car and take my keys." I said, laying them in his hand as he and Louis let Luke lay by his car, "take Olivia home and look at her head."

"What about you?" Louis asked as Liam jogged toward the car.

I bent down, digging through Luke's pockets and then fishing his keys from them, smirking up at my friend, "I'm gonna take Beauman here for a little drive."

Louis smirked and laughed, patting my shoulder, "keep yourself out of jail."

I laughed as I grabbed ahold of Luke's hair and Liam turned my car to life, pulling away and giving me a small smile, fill of sympathy. I waved as the car pulled away and then peered down at Luke. He was waking up.

"Good morning, sleepy head." I smirked, giving him a hard, open hand slap across the face. He groaned at the impact, rubbing the area where I smacked.

"Styles.." he growled. I grabbed the collar of his shirt, pulling him up to my level.

"Let's go for a ride," I said before sloppily chucking him into the passenger side seat and spotting the duct tape he had used on my wife. I bit on lip, resisting to just rip him out of the car and beat him to a pulp. I grabbed the gray tape and yanked a large amount off, wrapping it around his hands and then slamming the door shut.

"What are you doing, Styles?" Luke growled as I started the car and pulling out of the small dirt area.

I smirked, "we're going for a drive."

"You don't scare me, Styles." Luke murmured, obviously still in pain from the blow I had given him in the back of the neck.

"I'm not trying to scare you, Luke." I admitted, turning down a winding road, "I'm trying to warn you."

"Of what?" Luke said, looking over at me. All of a sudden I felt like more of an adult than I ever had, and Luke seemed to be a teenager again.

"Luke, you really don't know me." I stated with a slight sigh.

"I know enough." He snorted.

I looked over at him, "Before Olivia came into my life, and even a bit after that, people tortured me."

"They bullied you." Luke mumbled.

"No, Luke," I sighed, "it was torture."

Luke stayed quiet, as though silently telling me to continue. So I did. I went on to tell him of all the times I was beat up, every rumor that was spread, every time I felt so alone. He just sat, silently as we drove and I talked. I let tears fall down my face as I continued.

"Olivia came into my life and made me feel like maybe, possibly, someone could care."

"What does this have to do with you warning me, Marcel?" Luke sighed.

I looked up at him, "I'm warning you to switch yourself up, don't let people hate you like they did me."

"Too late, Marcel." Luke growled with a half smile.

"No." I stated with a shake of the head.

"Marcel." Luke growled, "it is."

"I don't believe you, Luke." I shot back. Luke stayed quiet then sighed.

"I want you to take me in." He whispered.

"What?" I asked, looking at him, disbelief in my eyes.

He shook his head, "take me in."

"Why?" I said.

"I deserve it."

"You're right you do." I nodded, "I'm just making sure you really want it."

"Marcel, just do it," Luke growled.

And with a smirk, that's just what I did.
