Live As We Know It

{Olivia's POV}

"And, done." Marcel announced as they finished the security system. The guys cheered and I tickled Kellyn's tummy, earning a giggle from the baby.

"Great work, guys," I smiled, "water and sandwiches on the table!"

The guys walked into the kitchen, but Marcel fell behind, staring me over, a smile on his face.

"What?" I giggled, blushing at his staring.

He walked over, wrapping his arms around my waist from the side, planting a kiss on Kellyn's forehead and then one on my lips. "I'm so lucky to have a beautiful family like I do,"

"We love you," I smiled, pecking his lips. He smiled, dragging the kiss along and holding my chin up with his finger.

I smiled, pulling away, "go hang out with your friends."

"Yes ma'am," He winked, jogging into the kitchen with his friends. I walked in, too, handing the baby to Niall, who was bugging to hold her since they started working on the system.

"I'm gonna go clean up the living room," I smiled, "then I'll be back," The guys nodded and carried on with their conversation. I ventured into the living room, finding a huge mess. I sighed and began picking up paper and everything else, shoving it all into the box that the system came in. I ran the vacuum to make sure I got everything and stuffed everything that couldn't fit in the box into a large bag. I tied the bag at the end and opened up the front door, slipping on a pair of shoes and walking outside. The door slammed hard behind me as I made my way over to the trash can.

"Is the hubby making you do all the work while he hangs with his buddies, Livi?" I heard behind me as I threw the bag into the large brown can that sat by the street.

I shot around, "Luke!"

"A security system?" Luke smirked, poking at the box that I had sat next to the can, "nice try."

"It'll go off if any creeps like you try to come in again," I hissed.

"Most people go for restraining orders," Luke chuckled, "but, then again, that won't work either."

"This is more efficient." I stated, glancing toward the house.

Luke laughed, "Olivia, please, you're smarter than that,"

"Smarter than what?" I spat.

"I know how to work my way around these things," He said, kicking the box so it fell onto the street.

"You're insane," I exclaimed, turning to run toward the house. Luke grabbed my arm before I could and spun me around.

"You're not going anywhere," He smirked. I felt something hard against the side of my head and saw nothing but blackness.
