Live As We Know It

{Olivia's POV}

Marcel and I exchanged glances, then took off toward the nursery. When we reached the door, Marcel stuck his arm out, stopping me. I peered up at him, petrified for my baby's life. Marcel pressed a finger to his lips, hushing me as he slowly grasped the door knob. I hooked onto his arm, feeling more and more anxious as we entered the room. We looked over.

The moon light made the room glow, shaping out a dark figure that stood above the crib where Kellyn slept. I heard Kellyn giggle slightly, and then groan a bit as the figure turned to face us. There was a gentle rain that was hammering harder as the seconds rolled on. A flash of lightening lit up the room. The figure was Luke.

"Beauman!" Marcel screamed, "get away from my baby!"

Luke smirked, "Marcel, Olivia, it's been awhile, how are you?"

"Did you hear me, Luke!?" Marcel snapped, "get away from her!"

"Now, why would I do that?" Luke chuckled, peering into the crib. I couldn't hear Kellyn fussing or moving, which scared me to death.

"Luke, you're insane!" I shrieked, "just go!"

Luke looked over at me, "Olivia, did you get my letter?"

"Yeah, and it proved your insanity!" Marcel yelled, stepping toward Luke.

"You have a lovely home and family, Marcel," Luke grinned evilly, "would be a shame if someone.. ripped it apart, wouldn't it?"

"What do you mean?" Marcel growled.

Luke looked from Marcel, to me and to the crib, leaning down to peer into the crib. "Your daughter is gorgeous, and my guess, the reason you two are still sane, she's you guy's everything, am I correct?"

"Yes.." I whispered. I was shaking. I wanted to just shove Luke out of the window, which was open, since I had opened it before the rain, and grab Kellyn. Marcel inched toward Luke.

"Would be a shame if she just.. disappeared, wouldn't it?" Luke chuckled, his hand moving around inside the crib.

"Luke, you can go out the easy way," Marcel offered, "or the hard one," Marcel's eyes slanted to the window, Luke followed his gaze. Luke stared at the window, a happy smirk playing his lips.

"The window is the easy route, Styles," Luke said, turning back to Marcel.

"I'll shove you out of it," Marcel whispered, "make it even easier,"

"I don't know why you think I'm the bad guy here, Marcel!" Luke yelled, "I'm not the one who stole another guy's woman and married her, I'm not the one who drove another man to insanity!"

"But you've nearly killed my wife and daughter, and you've broken into my home," Marcel spat.

"I didn't nearly kill anyone," Luke said.

"You crashed your car into mine!" I screamed, "you could have made us crash!"

"That wasn't me.." Luke shrugged, seeming very convinced. I knew it was him. I knew it.

"Olivia saw you in the car, Luke." Marcel growled. I eyed the crib again.

Luke smirked, "everything can be easily mistaken, Styles."

Luke's arm shot out again, as he scooped it into the crib. His arm came back up, exposing the baby tucked against him. I screamed as he stepped up on the window sill.

"Everything," he whispered before jumping out into the hammering rain. I screamed again as Marcel lunged for the window, looking down into the street.

I ran to the crib, screaming and crying as lightening flashed bright outside. Marcel was screaming Luke's name into the rain.

"Marcel!" I screamed, cutting him off as tears fled down my face.

Marcel shot around to look at me, "what!?"

I pointed into the crib, "l-look.."

Marcel looked at me. He tensed up as he slowly made his way over to the crib, standing next to me as we both turned to look into it.

There, sleeping with her teddy bear in her arms, was Kellyn.
