I Wish

I Ain't Going Nowhere

Rune and I arrived at a small coffee shop inside of town around ten minutes after we left. "Kyrie, are you all right? You look like there's something on your mind; what's going on?" She asked me as we got our drinks.

I shrugged. "It's Louis. He was acting strange last night, so I just want to know if he's okay." I took a sip of my iced tea and sat back on the hard wood chair.

"We can go check up on him after we're done if you want." She offered. The thought had passed my mind before, but for all I know, Louis might want to be alone for a while. I don't think I should bother him.

I shook my head. "No, it's fine. Let's enjoy ourselves now." I said, smiling at her. She smiled back, then took a sip of her coffee. She and I sat at the coffee shop for a little, but we soon decided that we wanted to do something else together.

As we got to my car, I heard Here Comes The Sun from the Beatles playing. My phone was ringing and I immediately knew who that ringtone belonged to. Louis was calling and I wasn't sure if I should answer or not.

"Is that Louis?" Rune asked. I slowly nodded my head as it continued to ring. "You can answer, Ky. He's your best friend, I'm sure he wants to talk to you if he's calling you." She gave me a kind smile as I answered the phone.

"Hey, Louis." I said sweetly to him. Because he called me, she and I haven't driven away yet. We were just sitting in the car.

"Kyrie, I was wondering if you would want to hang out today. I wanted to talk to you about something anyways." The sound of Louis' voice put me at ease. He sounded so nice over the phone. He always knew how to make me feel better by just being around me.

"What do you want to talk to me about?" I turned to Rune, but she was busy on her phone. She's most likely texting Zayn.

"Uh, I don't want to say it over the phone. Do you want to meet me somewhere pretty soon?"

"When? I'm with Rune, so maybe we could see each other in about two hours?" He was dead silent on the other line and that made me nervous. I'm not exactly sure why, but it did. He's never silent for very long.

"Oh, I didn't know you were with her. I'm sorry for bothering you, Kyrie. I'll just call you later and we can talk tomorrow or something."

"No, Louis don't hang up. I really want to see you." I almost wanted to tell him that I was worried, but I didn't want him to know. There was no reason for it, so why should I bother telling him?

"Really? Well, whenever you're free, Ky." I heard the smile on his voice, which caused me to smile. I love seeing his toothy grin.

I was about to reply to him, but Rune decided that she wanted to take the phone from me. "Hey, Louis? Yeah, it's Rune. Kyrie would love to be with you today. I-" She wasn't able to finish her sentence as I covered her mouth with my hand. She licked it, so I wiped my hand on her shoulder.

She slapped my head as I tried to get my phone back. "Give me the fucking phone!" I screamed at her. Somehow speaker was turned on, and all I heard was laughter on the other end.

"Never! Louis, if you can hear me, just go by her place whenever you want to. She and I hung out for long enough. Bye!" She hung up the phone.

"Are you fucking kidding me, Rune? I wanted to talk to him!"

She began to cackle, then she said, "Get out of the front seat, I'm driving." I gave her a funny look. There's no way she's driving my car!

"No, I'll drive. It's fine."

She had a slighty disatisfied look on her face. "Good, now drive already!" I rolled my eyes and laughed at her. The engine roared as I turned the key.

The drive back to hers and Zayn's house was anything but quiet. It may have been a short trip, but we treated it as if it were a long car ride. We sang along to random songs on the radio and laughed at the ones we hated.

I dropped her off at her house, then I quickly drove back to my apartment. Luckily I didn't have to worry about many red lights, since most of them were green. I knew that Louiswas probably waiting for me since he didn't live very far from me.

For some reason, I was starting to feel very nervous about seeing him today. I never get this way with him. Shouldn't I be feeling this way for Harry? It's not that big of a deal; I shouldn't get crazy over it.

I got to my apartment to see that Louis wasn't here yet. Well, he might, he does have the spare key. I opened up my door to see him sitting on the couch watching TV. I giggled to myself, which caused him to notice me.

I smiled at him before I closed the door behind me. He returned a warm smile to me as he got off the couch and hugged me tightly. It felt nice to be in his arms again. This hug made me feel like nothing was wrong and it was the two of us.

We pulled away and I said to him, "Hi, Louis."
