Overworked

Maddie’s P.O.V
As I went inside, the kids jumped up and ran to me.
“Well done Mum!” They shouted hugging me.
“Thanks guys,” I smiled. Harry walked into the living room and over to me.
“My gorgeous girl can play soccer.” He kissed me.
“I guess I can,” I replied laughing.
“I’m still giving you that reward,” he whispered in my ear, his hot breath hitting my neck. “Times by 3 because that’s how many goals you scored,” he added. I blushed slightly and sat down taking my jacket off. The kids all went to bed soon after and Harry sat down next to me. He pulled me onto his lap so I was straddling him and started kissing my neck, making me moan. He pulled away briefly to pull off my jumper and then move his lips to mine, connecting them. Our lips moved in perfect harmony as our clothes were slowly stripped from our bodies. When we were just in our underwear, Harry picked me up and took me upstairs. He put me down on the bed as he shut the door and locked it. Then he went to the nightstand and pulled out a condom. I watched as he pulled his boxers on and rolled it down his length.
Wednesday, 19th September 2028
I woke up next to Harry and smiled. Last night was amazing. I’ve got work again today but I really don’t want to get up. I looked at the time and it was 6.30am. Well I don’t have to be at work for a few hours, I’m just at the company today because I haven’t had the call telling me I need more songs or to record yet but I need to get the kids up. I got out of bed and went into the bathroom. I had a quick shower and got dressed. I sat and did my make-up, put my jewellery on and then went down to wake up Brooklyn. She got out of bed and went into the bathroom and I got Adam up too. Then it was time for Melissa. I love getting her up because there’s never a fight, she just does it.
“Honey,” I shook her gently and she turned over and opened her eyes. “Come on, it’s time for school.” I said and she nodded, slowly getting out of bed. I opened her curtains and she walked over to her desk where her uniform was. She went into the bathroom with it and I went downstairs. I made them breakfast and lunch and they all gradually came downstairs.
“Good morning gorgeous,” Harry kissed me on the cheek as I drank my coffee.
“Morning,” I smiled, watching the kids eat their breakfast.
“I take it from your outfit that you’re working today?” He questioned looking at my black dress. I nodded. He put some bread into the toaster and stood next to me watching the kids. “We did well with our children, didn’t we?” He smiled.
“We certainly did Styles.” I kissed him, smiling. I finished my coffee and put the mug into the dishwasher. “Right, Brooke and Adam time for you to get going,” I told them, kissing them both on the cheek. They got up from the table and said goodbye to Harry and Lis before leaving. I went and got a hair tie and brush for Lis so I could tie her hair up. I came back and went over, brushing her hair into a ponytail and tying it up. She finished her breakfast and went upstairs to get her bag while I put all of my paperwork into my handbag. Melissa came back down and I picked up my car keys and bag.
“I hope you weren’t going to leave without saying goodbye Mrs Styles,” Harry smirked from the kitchen doorway. I laughed and walked over to him kissing him.
“I’ll see you later, love you.” I told him and Lis opened the door.
“I love you too,” Harry smiled as I followed after Lis. I got my Mercedes out of the garage and Lis got in.
“When can I walk to school Mum?” She asked me as I pulled out of the driveway.
“When you’re at high school so not for a while sweetie,” I said making my way to her school.
“But it’s not that farrr,” she complained.
“You can when you’re older Lis. Not now. You’re 6; there is no way you’re walking to school on your own,” I said sternly and she stopped talking about it. I pulled into her school’s parking lot and she kissed my cheek before getting out of the car and walking into the playground. I watched her walk over to her friends and then drove off to work. I got out of my car just as Isabelle was pulling up.
“Let me guess, Oliver and Kasey?” I walked towards the entrance doors, locking my car with the key.
“Yep, this morning they decided to run around and make a massive mess. Let’s just say Tom wasn’t very happy.” She sighed as the automatic doors opened and we walked in. I grabbed my paperwork from the front desk and we both went into my office. “How was your soccer game last night?”
“It was good. I love playing and managing to score 3 times was pretty impressive to me.” I laughed slightly as I sat down and turned on my computer.
“I think you impressed everyone, anyway, I’ll let you get on.” She smiled and left my office. I went through my emails and then moved onto my paperwork. Why is there always so much of this damn stuff? I worked through it and then wandered around the office block checking on everything. I must have been wandering around for hours because it was 2.50 before I knew it and I had to leave to pick up Lis. I collected all my stuff and turned off my computer. I left the office and got into my car. I drove to her school and she got into the car.
“How was school baby?” I asked her and she shrugged. I guess it wasn’t that fun today. I drove home and walked in to the twins running around with Charlie. I laughed at Lis trying to get round them and Harry came into the living room.
“I thought that was my gorgeous wife’s laugh,” he used his charming side.
“How was your day?” I asked taking off my heels.
“Okay I guess, I spent it tidying up after the twins.” He said and I smiled.
“Welcome to my world honey,” I went and kissed his cheek. “Where are Brooklyn and Adam?”
“Upstairs doing homework.” Harry answered. I nodded and kissed the twins. I walked into the kitchen and my phone started ringing.
“Hello?” I answered it.
“Hey Maddie, we just need two more bonus tracks for your album and then you can get to recording so can you get them written by Friday please?” Harriet said.
“Yeah sure, I guess I’ll see you Friday then?”
“Please,” she replied and I agreed.
“Bye Harriet,” I said and she hung up.
“Who was that?” Harry asked.
“Harriet, I need two more tracks and then I can get to recording.” I told him and went upstairs to get one of the two written.
