Overworked

Maddie’s P.O.V
Sunlight woke me up and I groaned. I’m working again. I turned over expecting to find Harry but the bed was still made. Where did they go? I got out of bed and called him as I pulled on my dress.
“Hey,” he answered, groggily.
“Where the fuck are you? You never came back last night.” I pulled on my boots and zipped them up.
“I’m sorry babe, I didn’t want to wake you, the kids were pretty hyper.” He explained. I picked up my bag and walked out of the room. “You working again?”
“Yeah, I got home at 5 yesterday you know, you could have come back, I was up until 10.”
“We didn’t get back until 11. There was no light under the door so I knew you were asleep. I’ll see you tonight, I’ve got to go.” He said and hung up. God damn it Harry. I chucked my phone in my bag and opened the door to the suite again. I picked up the guitar and left going downstairs. I got down there and Louis ran to me.
“Don’t tell me you’re going to work again?” He groaned.
“Sorry hun, I’ve got to.” I kissed him on the cheek.
“Mads,” he started and I turned around again.
“Did you take pictures of Harry handcuffed to the bed?” He asked and I laughed.
“Of course I did sweetie. Now I’ve really got to go.” I told him and went to John. On the way to the studio I got a text.

Send me them pictures? I need blackmail against your husband.
I laughed and replied.
To: Tommo
What’s he done now?
With the pictures attached. I got a reply a couple of minutes later.

Sexy possessive girl ;) and he’s just being annoying x
We got to the studio so I couldn’t reply. I got out with the guitar and went inside. We tweaked the song for a few hours and then she let me go. I got back to the hotel and when I got into the lobby was ran to by two adorable little girls, also my daughters.
“Hey girlies,” I picked them both up with the guitar still in my hand.
“How do you do that?” Harry laughed coming over and taking my guitar.
“I can carry a lot.” I laughed and he kissed me.
“I’m sorry we didn’t come back last night, I know it’s been tough for you these last few days. I didn’t want to wake you.” He said and kissed me again.
“It’s fine honestly.” I said and he took the twins from me.
“Someone’s pretty bummed that you didn’t see them before you started working.” He said and I saw a flash of blonde.
“There’s my favourite American.” Niall ran to me and picked me up. I smiled and he spun me around.
“You look like one of them cute couples in a movie when you’re reunited, but Horan, she’s mine.” Harry said trying to get me back.
“Let me spend time with my favourite Irish.” I pouted at Harry.
“What about your favourite English?” He pouted back.
“Gemma’s probably busy with my second favourite Australian.” I said and Harry just walked off.
“You just pissed him off.”
“Nah, he knows I’m joking, he’s just gonna let me spend time with you, so c’mon Irish.”
“Who’s your favourite Australian?”
“Lukey,” I laughed and Niall put me down kissing my cheek.
“Lukey Pukey yeah?” Niall teased. We went back to the others and I sat down on Niall’s lap.
“She’s meant to be doing that with me.” Harry whispered to Louis but I heard him and got the hair band off of my wrist and pinged it at him. It hit him and he turned to me. “What was that for?” He asked pinging it back.
“Because I’m spending time with Irish and you’re jealous.” I laughed and put the hair band back on my wrist.
“I do have a name you know love,” Niall whispered in my ear.
“Yeah, Irish,” I laughed and he laughed too. Harry was going green with envy, for god sake. I got my phone out of my bag and texted him.

Stop getting jealous. My best friend (ex best friend) broke his heart, I’m just being a friend x I love you x
“Awh!! Maddie’s name for Harry in her phone is Hubby with an emoji heart.” Niall said from behind me. Harry smiled at me and then looked at his phone.
“I would tell you what my name for Maddie is but it’s not appropriate.” Harry said and winked at me. Then my phone buzzed.

Okay gorgeous, and your contact name is my possessive bitch ;) x
He said and I looked at him. He laughed and I got another text.

It’s not actually, it’s Sexiest Girl In The World ;) x
I smiled and Harry smiled back.
“That guy is seriously addicted to you.” Niall said.
“I know, and I love him for it. But obviously I love you more Irish.” I said and ruffled his hair, which annoyed him and he started to fix it. Harry and I looked at each other for a while and then we both got texts.

Stop eye fucking across the room, go do it upstairs :)
As I read it Niall laughed.
“Stop reading my texts!” I hit his chest.
“Go and be with Harry, I’m fine, honest.” Niall whispered and I turned to him. He nodded and I stood up and went over to Harry. I sat down on his lap instead and he kissed my neck.
“What do you want? You’re being really nice.” I said and everyone burst out laughing. So there is something.
“Can I spend the night with the lads tonight? You can be with the girls?” He asked.
“Sure.” I shrugged and he smiled.
“Thank you,” he whispered and I turned to Louis.
“Make sure you bring him back in one piece.” I warned and he saluted. El, Sam and Kayleigh laughed and I just smiled.
“We’ve gotta get going then,” Harry lightly smacked my thigh to get me off of his lap. I slid off and he stood up along with the other lads. I kissed him goodbye and then the girls, Anne and I went upstairs. Anne took my kids and Matthew with her leaving us with George, Sam, Kayleigh and Leah but they went to sleep as soon as we got to the room so it was me, El, Perrie, Dani, Gemma, Vicki and Jess. Apart from Gemma, we don’t really see Vicki and Jess so I’m guessing it’s gonna be quite awkward for them.
Harry’s P.O.V
We walked into a bar and sat down at the only table that was big enough for all 9 of us. As I moved round Louis caught my wrist and I sucked in a breath in pain.
“Sorry, forgot you had handcuff burns.” He laughed and everyone at the table heard.
“You got arrested?” Calum asked.
“By his wife,” Louis sniggered.
“Maddie used handcuffs?” Luke turned to me.
“Yeah, and not fluffy ones, fucking metal ones and they hurt like hell.”
“Is she really that rough?”
“I’d rather not talk about how good my wife is in bed okay, especially seeing as one of you has made out with her in the last few days and might be tempted to go back for more.” I glared at Calum. Ashton looked at him and punched his arm.
“You made out with my sister in law?”
“She was the one who made the first move.” Calum held his hands up and Zayn went to get drinks. He came back with them a few minutes later and I started drinking.
“Calm it, Maddie won’t let you in if you’re drunk.” Louis reminded.
“The kids are with my mum. It’ll be fine.”
“Mine aren’t, and I don’t want you going near them when you’re drunk alright.” He said and I sighed pushing my beer away from me.
“I’m sorry man.” Calum spoke up.
“It’s fine.” I said, meaning it. Honestly, it’s only the 3rd time she’s cheated in about 18 months. It’s fine. The guys all talked about their girls for a bit and then turned back to me.
“You alright?” Liam asked.
“How did I get the gorgeous one who cheats?” I spoke my thoughts. Louis gritted his teeth ready to defend her. “Don’t even.” I stopped him. “She’s cheated too many times. She doesn’t love me anymore.” I sighed, sinking in my seat. Louis got his phone out and started texting, then he showed me the text.
To: El<3
Do some digging with Maddie about Harry? He’s convinced she doesn’t love him anymore, thank you and love you xxx
I nodded and Louis sent it. A few minutes later he got a reply, read it and then showed me again.

Don’t worry, we were already doing that, getting her drunk so she speaks what she really feels, tell Harry that we love him x Love you too xxx
I nodded and we went back to talking.
“Harry, what’s Brooke’s number?” Calum asked me.
“Really? After Maddie bugging you for years to text her you decide now? Don’t hurt her. If you do I’ll hurt you.” I replied and texted Calum Brooke’s number.
Maddie’s P.O.V
We’re currently doing shots and I’m doing Eleanor’s too. I feel so drunk right now. Vicki and Jess left quite early on and Eleanor’s been texting all night so I guess she misses Louis. I don’t know why, I don’t miss Harry at all.
“How’s everything with Harry after the other day?” Dani asked.
“I haven’t really seen him, I guess he’s avoiding me but I don’t really care. Two can play that game,” I slurred. Eleanor texted again and Gemma turned to me, she pulled me in the corner and I was confused.
“If you’re gonna hurt my brother, do it now and don’t come back, I don’t want you anywhere near him again if you leave. You walk out of this hotel, you walk out on him. And if you want to do that, then go ahead. But don’t make it worse by sticking around and pretending to love him.” She spat. Someone’s not a kind drunk.
Harry’s P.O.V
I was on my third beer when I got a text.
From: Gemma
She’s gone. I’m so sorry bro x
I felt my heart sink. She told me she was going to speak to Maddie and tell her that she either leaves now or loves me. Maddie obviously chose to leave.
“What’s wrong?” Niall asked, putting a hand on my arm.
“Your favourite American has just walked out on me. For good.” I said and the words ripped me apart. Louis stood up and the rest of them did too. Louis dragged me to the van and put me in driving us back to the hotel. Most of the fans outside were gone, Maddie’s fans. We went straight up to our suite and opened the door. None of Maddie’s stuff was in view. Just Eleanor sitting in shock in the corner, Louis went to her and pulled her in for a hug.
“She just packed and left. Gemma told her to leave and never come back or to treat Harry how he deserves to be treated and she packed and left. My best friend’s gone.” El sobbed in his shoulder. I walked to the bed and sat down burying my head in my hands. Niall and Liam ran in and saw the room practically empty.
“She’s really gone?”
“She’s gone.” Louis said clearing it up for all of us. “We need to be there for Harry.”

Well, you didn't expect that did you? :O I've been writing the filler chapters recently and I keep thinking I'm getting close to the end but I'm really not. I'm on Chapter 83 and no where near the end! This is going to go on for ages and I'm already writing parts of the sequel, I really do like to get ahead of myself...
