Overworked

Maddie’s P.O.V
I woke up and got dressed and then went downstairs. Thank god it’s Saturday. Brooke was sitting at the table on the phone.
“Who you talking to?” I asked and she showed me that she was talking to Faye.
“Oh, and Lis totally caught Harry and Maddie having sex last night.” Brooke said into the phone. I heard Faye laughing. “I went up and Harry was on top of Maddie and I immediately knew what was going on and when I told Lis to go back to bed she goes: Daddy is hurting Mummy. It was so funny.” Brooke turned the volume up on her phone so I could hear what Faye was saying.
“Why did you go up there?”
“I heard someone leave their room and the headboard was hitting the wall pretty hard. The funniest thing is that they carried on when we’d gone.” Brooke said.
“Oh my god.” Faye laughed.
“It’s not that funny.” I moaned and sat down. Harry came in and kissed my cheek.
“Who’s she talking to?” He asked looking at Brooke.
“Faye, about last night,” I said.
“Oh,” Harry laughed and sat down next to me. I looked at him and he was just in his boxers.
“She has a thing for you already; do you really have to make it worse?” I looked between Brooke and Harry.
“Oh don’t worry, I know he’s yours. He definitely claimed you last night.” Brooke laughed. I got up from the table and went to take my pill. I got a glass of water and went and sat down at the table to take it. I swallowed it. “Was that a contraception pill?” Brooke asked.
“Maybeeee,” I said drinking my water.
“It so was.” She said and Harry pulled my chair closer to his and put his arm around my waist. “You two make me sick. But Faye wants to talk to you.” Brooke handed me her phone and went upstairs.
“Hey.” I said into the phone.
“I can’t believe she caught you.” Faye laughed.
“Well she did.” I said.
“Do you want to come to campus today? I’m bored and have got nothing better to do.”
“Gee thanks. But yeah I’ll come down later on. I’m gonna go before you can throw in anymore sex jokes. Bye,” I said.
“Bye! Harry behave yourself.” Faye said and hung up. I put the phone on the table and groaned.
“Don’t be grouchy.” Harry kissed my neck. He lifted me up from my chair and put me onto his lap facing him. “She’s bound to find it funny.” Harry continued to kiss my neck. I leant down and kissed him passionately.
“Yuck. Can I have my phone back?” Brooke said as I tangled my hands in Harry’s hair. He pointed at the table and moved his hands down to my bum. “Feel free to have sex; I’ll keep the children upstairs.” Brooke said and left again. Harry and I continued making out and only broke it when he pulled my top off.
“Not here.” I said. He stood up and picked me up walking into the kitchen and shutting the door behind us. He placed me onto the counter and stood between my legs pulling my jeans off. He kissed me again and unclasped my bra. I let it fall onto the floor and then he pulled my panties off and took his boxers off. He lay me down on the counter and got onto it himself and pushed himself into me.
“I know you love having sex every day.” Harry whispered as he pounded into me. I whimpered and he smirked and kissed my neck. He kept pounding into me for about 10 minutes and then came inside me. I came around him and we rode out our orgasms and he got down from the counter. “We should probably wipe this before we cook again.” He laughed.
“Yeah...” I said and jumped down from the counter. I put my clothes back on and handed Harry his boxers. He stepped back into them and I cleaned up the side. Harry went upstairs to get changed and Brooke came back down.
“You totally just had sex in the kitchen. You two are sex crazed at the moment.”
“We’ve been back together for 5 days. Of course we are. 3 out of the 5 we’ve had sex.” I confessed.
“Jeez, I should have stayed at home. What are you doing today?”
“I don’t know whatever really.”
“Well I’m gonna go and get Aimee and then go home so I don’t have to put up with you and your husband being all lovey dovey, it makes me sick.” She said and I laughed.
“Suit yourself.” I walked out of the kitchen. I went up to our bedroom and Harry had just pulled his top down.
“Damn. I missed it.” I stomped my foot.
“I could always take it back off.” He laughed.
“Nah, don’t bother. Even though I’m going in the pool.” I told him.
“Why?” He asked.
“Because I want to, you could always come and join me.” I said and got a bikini out of the closet. I made a point of changing into it right in front of Harry and then ran down the stairs before he could catch me. I jumped into the pool and when I resurfaced Harry was sitting on the edge.
“You look so hot right now.” He said, his pink tongue darting out to lick his lips.
“Come in with me.” I went over to him and pulled him in.
“You’re gonna pay for that.” He shook his head making all the water in his hair go everywhere. I laughed and he picked me up and threw me in again.
“Harry!” I squealed. He stood laughing at me and I went over to him and kissed him quick and then swam off again.
“Such a tease,” He groaned and tried to catch me. I ducked under the water and swam away from Harry but he grabbed my ankle and pulled my back up. I wrapped my legs around his torso and he pushed my back making me move closer to him. I kissed him and heard someone pick up keys.
“Bye lovebirds!” Brooke shouted. When we didn’t reply she walked out to the garden. “Should’ve guessed that you’d be making out. No sex in the pool. Adam’s watching you.” Brooke said and I looked up at Adam’s window. Sure enough, he wasn’t watching us.
“Such a liar. Piss off Brooke.” I said and kissed Harry again.
“Ew, goodbye,” Brooke said. I heard the front door slam and Harry grabbed my ass which made me gasp. With that, he took the opportunity to put his tongue into my mouth. I’d been avoiding it before so he didn’t manage to. I slipped my tongue into his mouth too. His mouth tasted like mint. He obviously just cleaned his teeth. He spun me around and we pulled away for breath. I went under the water and pushed my hair out of my eyes. I came back up and Harry was smiling at me.
“What?”
“You’re gorgeous.” He said.
“I’m going to campus later baby.” I told him.
“That’s fine.”
“I’m gonna go and check on the kids. They’re normally up by now.” I said and got out of the pool. I dried myself off and went upstairs to Lis. She was still asleep so I left her alone and Adam was too. I went into Brooke’s room and she was clutching her stomach crying. “What’s the matter baby?” I said down next to her and pulled her into a hug. She looked down at herself and her pyjama bottoms were stained with blood. Oh god. She’s started. “Don’t worry; it’s normal for a girl of your age. You go and get in the shower and I’ll sort your things out in here.” I kissed her head.
“I feel really sick.” She whispered.
“That’s normal too honey. It happens once a month now until you’re about 50. I still get it.” I reassured her.
“What is it?”
“It’s called a period, princess. It’s where your parts inside you that help make babies are preparing for a baby. Obviously for you it won’t happen yet but they still do it. Every girl gets one.” I explained. She nodded and went to have a shower. I stripped the bed and remade it and sorted the stuff that she’d need out. She came back out and I explained more about it. She nodded and got dressed. My baby girl is growing up. I hugged her and she sobbed onto my bare stomach. “Stay here sweetheart. I’ll be back in a minute.” I said at hearing one of the twins cry. I can’t believe that my baby is growing up. I picked up Freya and rocked her in my arms making her go back to sleep. Then I went downstairs and got some tablets, ice cream and a movie.
“What’s that for?” Harry asked kissing my cheek.
“I’m gonna spend some time with Brooke but I have a head ache so I’m gonna take some tablets.” I lied not wanting to tell him yet.
“Okay…” Harry said. I’m not sure if he believed me or not but I ran up the stairs before he could ask me anymore questions. I went into Brooklyn’s room and gave her the tablets.
“Take one,” I said and put the ice cream down on her bed and put the movie into her TV. We sat and ate ice cream watching the movie. Harry came in and looked at us weirdly.
“Mads, can I speak to you?” Harry asked. I nodded and got up from Brooklyn’s bed going outside. “What’s really going on?” He questioned.
“She’s started her period.” I told him.
“Why didn’t you tell me before? I can handle it you know.”
“She’s upset so I just wanted to spend time with her, sorry.” I hugged him.
“It’s fine. I’m gonna spend some time with Adam and Lis then,” he kissed my cheek.
“I’ll get Brooklyn to come downstairs. Can you sort the twins out with some toys?” I asked.
“Yeah okay,” he went upstairs. I went back into Brooke’s room and we watched the rest of the movie and then went downstairs. Brooke sat on the floor playing with Amelia and Adam and Lis went in the pool. My phone started ringing and it was Hannah.
“Hello?” I answered.
“Maddie! I’m so glad I got through, I’m not interrupting anything am I?”
“No Hannah, what’s up?”
“Urm, I really need some help, I have so much work to do and I’m snowed under, I hate asking this, but do you reckon you could come back for a few days to help?” She questioned.
“Sure, I’ll try and get there for tomorrow.” I told her.
“Thank you so much.”
“No problem.” I smiled into the phone and she hung up.
“Was that Hannah as in, the one running your business in the UK?” Harry asked.
“Yeah, I’m going back for a few days to help her out.” I replied.
“When we’ve just gotten back together?”
“Harry, my business is important. I’m gonna book a flight now.” I said and went into the office. I booked a flight for 5.30 and looked at the time, 1pm. Perfect. So I’ve got time to pack and visit Faye before I have to leave. I went upstairs and packed my suitcase. “I’ll be back next week.” I told Harry kissing him on the cheek.
“Okay...” He groaned.
“Bye kids.” I hugged them all goodbye.
“Aren’t you meant to be going to campus today?” Harry asked.
“Gonna go on the way to the airport.” I replied. “Love you all.” I said and went out into the garage. I put my suitcase into the trunk and Harry came out.
“No kiss?” He teased.
“I just gave you one.”
“So I’m on a ration now?” He laughed. I went over to him and kissed him quickly.
“I’ll see you soon. Love you.” I said.
“Love you too gorgeous.” He answered and I got into my car. I opened the garage door and gate and drove out. I drove to campus and ran inside. I knocked on Faye’s door and she opened it.
“Hey,” she hugged me. “Wait, have you had sex today?” She questioned.
“Yep,” I laughed and we went inside.
“Eww, please tell me you’ve showered.”
“Nope,” I giggled and sat down in Faye’s room.
“So I’ve got Harry germs?”
“That’s something any girl would want.”
“Not me!” She said.
“You used to love him!”
“Like. Never love. Just like.”
“We’ve gotta make this quick. I have a flight to get on at 5.30.” I informed her.
“Oh right, how comes?”
“Because Hannah needs some help in the UK so yeah...”
“Take it Harry isn’t very happy.”
“When is he happy?” I said and Faye laughed.
“When he’s having sex with you,”
“Eh.” I shrugged.
“Oh my god! Shut up now!”
“You asked!” I held my hands up in defence.
“But I didn’t want details!”
“I didn’t give you them!” I laughed. We talked for a while and then I had to go and get my flight. “I’ll see you soon babe.” I hugged Faye.
“Yeah, good luck in the UK.” She said. I nodded and ran back out to my car. I got in and drove to the airport. I checked in and handed in my luggage.
-10 hours later-
We landed in the UK and I got off the plane being greeted with the cool English air.
“As cold as ever England.” I sighed and took my hoodie out of my bag. I put it on and went to get my suitcase. I got it and went to a hire car place. I got a car like mine and then drove to the house. I got there and unlocked the door. It was so empty. It’s weird being here. I haven’t been here for about 8 months now. I went inside and sorted some things out and then drove to the office block. I went inside and to Hannah’s office.
“You came!”
“I said I would.” I hugged her.
“Thank you so much. Are Harry and the kids with you?”
“Nope, they’re back in California.” I told her.
“Oh right, I didn’t cause any problems did I?”
“Nah, he’s pissed anyway.” I laughed. I started to help her and we got about 1/4 of the stuff done.
