Maddie’s P.O.V
“Babe, you need to get up.” Harry said shaking me. I groaned and got out of bed. I went into the closet and grabbed some clothes for work and had a shower. I got dressed and went downstairs to get Lis ready. Harry came down as I was taking her downstairs.
“Daddy!” She shouted in excitement and Adam’s door opened as soon as she said it.
“Dad!” Adam ran to him.
“Hey little man,” Harry hugged him.
“How come you’re here?” Adam questioned.
“Because I wanted to be able to see you guys before I go to work.”
“Adam, go wake and up your sister please and then come downstairs. I have to tell you guys something.” I went downstairs with Lis and put her down. She went into the dining room and sat at the table waiting for her breakfast. I gave her it and made their lunches.
“Mum! Brooke won’t get up!” Adam shouted.
“I’ll get her up.” Harry said. About 2 minutes later Adam and Brooklyn came downstairs. They sat down and Harry and I went into the dining room.
“I have some good news and some bad news.” I said. “The good news is that I’m not touring anymore and the bad news is that I’ve quit singing.” I told them. They all looked happy and shocked at the same time.
“Did you tell Simon you weren’t going on tour because of us?” Brooke asked.
“Yeah. I can’t leave you guys. I don’t know what I was thinking.” I said. She nodded and ate her breakfast. She went upstairs and got ready for school and then they were all sorted.
“Can dad take us to school?” Adam asked.
“No I can’t. I’ve got to go to work now, sorry.” Harry answered. Adam groaned and walked to my car. I put everything in and Brooke and Lis got in too. I kissed Harry goodbye and drove off. I dropped Brooke and Adam off and then dropped off Lis. Dani was leaving as I got to my car.
“Hey!” Dani ran over to me. I smiled and hugged her. “I haven’t seen you in ages! We need to have a girly night.” She said.
“I know. That’s what having a child does to you! We do, when Belle is back from the US.”
“Yeah, Leah’s birthday is coming up soon so she’ll probably want a party and you guys can all come.” She told me.
“Thanks. I’m so sorry but I really have to go to work.” I replied.
“Okay, see you soon yeah?”
“Yeah, bye.” I hugged her again and got into my car. I drove to work and was greeted by another load of paperwork.
“You have a meeting with Jennifer Lawson at ten o’clock today at her office. She wants to speak to you about you in particular designing a range for her company.” Isabelle said.
“Okay, clear my diary for the rest of the day though. I’m going home after.”
“Okay.” She went into her office. I flicked through the paperwork quickly and then went to my car and drove to Jennifer’s office. I got there and went inside. She was standing by the counter.
“Hi, I’m Madeline Styles of Styles Fashion Design; I believe I have a meeting with you.” I shook her hand.
“Ah yes, is that actually your name?” She walked towards an office and I followed after her.
“Yeah, it’s just quite ironic that I run a fashion business.” I said and we sat down. We discussed ideas and figures for a couple of hours and then sorted out a contract. After the meeting, I decided to go to the recording studio. I knew Harry would still be in studio two. I walked in and Harry was in the booth so I sat with the boys.
“Hey, how come you’re here Miss Fashion Design?” Louis poked me.
“I got bored and couldn’t be bothered to work today. I decided that I’d rather come here instead and then I’m gonna catch up with the girls before going to get the kids.”
“Oh okay, the advantages of being your own boss I guess.” Zayn said. I agreed with him. Harry came out of the booth and walked over to me.
“Hey babe, what are you doing here?” He kissed me.
“I came to see you, is that a problem?” I replied.
“Not at all,” He sat next to me. Niall was told to go into the booth and he did so.
“Maddie, do you really want another baby?” Louis blurted out. I turned to Harry.
“Is nothing private?”
“Sorry. I was happy.” Harry defended himself. I looked back at Louis.
“It would be nice but I find it hard to handle the three that I’ve got so it’s not ideal.” I answered him.
“Oh okay.”
“I’m gonna go and see your wives now. Byee.” I stood up.
“Have fun!” Liam said. I kissed Harry on the cheek and left the studio. I drove to Zayn and Perrie’s and walked inside.
“Hey!” I said.
“Maddie! I haven’t seen you in ages!” Perrie jumped up.
“Yeah, sorry about that, I’ve been really busy lately,” I said.
“Don’t worry. How are the kids?”
“Yeah they’re good. Hard work but good.” I laughed. We chatted for a while and then I went to see El. I went in and she was watching TV. “Whatcha watching?” I sat next to her.
“A story about you ending your singing career, why?” She said.
“Because I’m not giving up my family. They were making me go on tour and I didn’t want to.” I told her. We talked until we had to pick up the kids. I drove to Lis’ school and went to her classroom. Her teacher called her and she came running out of the door. “Hey! What’s up?” I asked.
“It’s Friday!” She said excitedly. I laughed and held her hand as we walked back to the car. I put her in and picked up Brooke and Adam.
“When’s Dad gonna be home?” Brooke asked me.
“I don’t know. I went to see him earlier and I think he was nearly finished so soon hopefully.” I pulled up outside our house. They all jumped out of the car and I unlocked the front door for them. I dumped all their stuff in the hall and shut the front door. They were all out in the garden.
“Mum, can we go swimming?” Brooke asked.
“Sure, look after Lis though okay?”
“Yeah.” They went upstairs and came back down a few minutes later and got into the pool. I sat in the office doing my work that I should have done today and watching them through the window. I heard the door close and Harry came into the office.
“Where are the kids?” He asked.
“Swimming.” I told him.
“Oh right okay, we’ve got some time to ourselves then.” He kissed my head.
“We still have to watch them.” I reminded him.
“Urgh.” He groaned. I laughed and we went out into the back garden.
“Look who’s back.” I said making them all turn around.
“Dad!” Adam jumped out of the pool.
“Hey, good day at school?” Harry asked.
“I’ve got a girlfriend.” Adam answered.
“That’s nice. What’s her name?” Harry replied.
“Jess. She’s really kind and pretty.”
“That’s cool, go swim.” Adam went and got back into the pool.
“You better not turn our son into a player.” I warned Harry.
“I’m not planning on it. He’s 9.” He said. I laughed and we watched the kids playing in the pool. “Can we go and join them?” Harry asked.
“You can but I’m good for now.” I laughed. He ran inside and came back 5 minutes later in swimming trunks. He got into the pool and the kids swam over to him. I sat down on the grass and watched them all play together. Lis got out and ran over to me.
“I love you Mummy. And Daddy told me to get you to come in.” She said. I laughed and kissed her head.
“I love you too. I’ll be back in a minute.” I stood up. She ran back to the pool and I got changed into a bikini and went back to the pool. I got in and Lis came over. I picked her up and went over to Harry.
“Hey! You came in.” Harry kissed me.
“Yeah,” I smiled at him.
“I love you,” He said.
“I love you too.” I replied. Harry smiled and Lis swam off. Harry picked me up and spun me around. He kissed me and then pulled away and we looked at the kids who were smiling at us.
“You guys are so cute.” I heard someone say. I turned around and saw Belle standing with Drew. I jumped out of the pool and went over to her.
“Hey Horan,” I laughed.
“Hey Styles. Dry yourself off before you hug me will ya?” She said. I picked up a towel and dried myself and then hugged her.
“Good time in America?” I asked.
“Yeah, I saw your sisters. Faye is so grown up now!” She told me.
“I know. It’s her 20th in a couple of months.”
“That’s just mad.” Belle laughed. I looked down at Andrew.
“How about you, did you have fun?” I crouched down to his level.
“Yeah!” He shouted. Drew is a mini Niall, he looks and sounds exactly like him and their personalities are the same too. I laughed and hugged him.
“Where’s Ni?” I stood back next to Belle.
“Next door, he said he’s going to get everyone to come round here.” Belle informed me laughing.
“That’s fine. Come sit down.” I walked to the pool chairs with Belle and Drew following me. Harry got out of the pool and hugged Belle.
“Urgh, I hate you.” Belle looked down at her wet clothes. Harry laughed and put his arm around my waist.
“Kayleigh!” Brooke jumped out of the pool. I looked at the door and Niall, El, Louis and the twins were there. I stopped Brooke and gave her my towel so she could dry herself. Lis got out of the pool and came and stood next to me. Niall walked over and picked up Drew and then looked at Belle.
“Do you know that your top is see-through right now?” He asked her. Harry and I laughed and went over to El and Louis.
“Don’t hug me.” El pushed me back.
“I’m dry.” I pouted. She laughed and hugged me and then Dani, Liam and Leah came into the garden.
“Why is Belle’s top see-through?” Liam asked. Dani slapped his arm and Leah just laughed at her parents.
“Where are Zayn and Pez?” Harry questioned.
“They’re on their way.” Dani told him. I picked up Lis and went inside. Zayn and Perrie were coming through the door with George.
“I really need to start locking the door.” I joked. They smiled and laughed.
“Where is everyone?” They asked.
“In the garden. I’ll be back in a minute.” I went upstairs with Lis. I put a tank top and some shorts on and then we went back downstairs. I put Lis down and she went to play with the others who were all sitting at the back of the garden. I sat down with everyone else.
“It’s so weird seeing you dressed casually.” Dani said to me. “I only see you dressed for work nowadays because I normally see you dropping Lis off at school.” She continued.
“Yeah, I guess I’m used to wearing clothes like that now. I don’t have many casual clothes.” I replied.
“Ha, you have loads you just stick to the same ones.” Harry pointed out. I shrugged and we talked for a while until Brooke came over carrying a crying Lis.
“What’s the matter baby?” I took her from Brooke.
“She fell and hit her head.” Brooke told me.
“Okay, thanks princess.” I said. She smiled and I took Lis inside and sat her down at the table. I looked at her head and it was just a bit bruised. “You’ll be okay babes. Should we get you dressed?” I kissed her. She nodded so I took her upstairs and helped her into a summer dress. She ran back down and over to the others again.
“Is she okay?” Harry asked.
“Yeah she’s fine.” I sat down next to him.
“When are we having our girly night?” Belle questioned.
“I’m up for whenever,” El said.
“Me too,” Dani agreed.
“I don’t mind.” Perrie told her and they all turned to me.
“I don’t know, whenever.” I smiled.
“Okay, well we’ll have to arrange it soon.”
“Are we allowed a guys night?” Niall asked.
“No.” We all said at the same time. The boys pouted at us.
“Try not to get Maddie knocked up again before our girly night Haz, we all know what you’re like.” Dani said. Harry and I looked at each other and the others gasped.
“Are you pregnant again?” Louis asked loud enough for the kids to hear. Brooke and Adam ran over.
“Are you having another baby?” They looked at us.
“Not at the moment guys.” Harry dismissed them. They sighed and walked back.
“Thanks for that, but no I’m not pregnant, we’ve just been trying. So I could be but I don’t know.” I said.
“Oh right, well I hope you succeed then.” Louis answered. We smiled and went back to talking. Perrie and Zayn took George home after about an hour because he was getting tired.
“Do you want to stay for dinner? Because I’ve got to do dinner for the kids.” I stood up.
“We need to get back. Leah needs to go to bed soon.” Danielle said. Liam went and got her and they left. I went inside and cooked dinner for the rest of us. I shouted for the kids and they came inside and sat down at the table. I gave them their dinners and they started to eat. I took the rest of the dinners outside.
“Thanks love,” Harry said when I had finally finished handing them out.
“No problem,” We ate dinner and it was starting to get dark so they went into the living room. I did the dishes and then went to join them. “Lis, it’s bedtime hun.” I told her. She pouted and looked at Harry.
“You heard Mummy.” He backed me up.
“We’re gonna go now anyway, Drew is starting to get tired.” Niall said and they left. I took Lis upstairs and ran her a bath.
“Mummy, why can’t I play with Brooke and Adam?” She asked when I was washing her hair.
“Because you’re too little baby. You need to go to bed.” I finished washing her hair and then got her out of the bath and into her pyjamas.
“Can Daddy read me a story?” She got into bed.
“Okay, I’ll go get him.” I kissed her forehead and went downstairs. “Lis wants you to read her a story.” I told Harry. He stood up and went upstairs and I sat down next to El. We talked and then they left as well. “You two go and get ready for bed and then you can come down and watch some TV. Don’t forget to shower.” I said to Brooke and Adam. They ran upstairs and I turned on the TV which was on E News!.
“Singer Maddie Styles has ended her career. SYCO records told fans that the singer and fashion designer was doing a tour yesterday but then cancelled it after the 33 year old told them she wouldn’t do the tour because it was ‘tearing her family apart’. Maddie has 3 children with her pop star husband, Harry Styles and refused to leave them behind to tour the world. It looks like Maddie will just focus on her fashion designing from now on.” I turned it over and Harry came back down.
“Lis asked if you were having another baby.” He sat next to me.
“Well at least they all want it.” I put my head on his chest.
“What’s up?” He played with my hair.
“Nothing, I just saw a story about me ending my career.” I sighed.
“Oh right. Well the kids love you for it.” He kissed my head.
“What do you want to do tomorrow?” I asked.
“How about we go shopping?” He suggested.
“Yeah okay.” I felt my phone buzz in my pocket and Isabelle was ringing me. “Hello?” I answered.
“Urm, would you be able to work tomorrow?” She said. I hate it when she does this.
“Why?”
“Because you have work to do that you didn’t do today.”
“I’ll do it on Monday. I already did some anyway. I’m not giving up my weekend.” I told her and hung up.
“Did she want you to work?”
“Yeah, I finished early today so it’s understandable.” Brooke came down in her pyjamas.
“What can we watch?” She asked,
“Whatever you want babe.” I said. She took the remote and turned it onto a show that she likes and Adam came back down and started watching it too. We ran our plans for tomorrow through the kids and they both agreed. We watched TV and then they went to bed. “I love you Harry.” I said.
“I love you too Mads, what’s up?” He asked knowing I wasn’t feeling too good.
“I don’t know. I guess I’m just happy that I’ve got you guys. You and the kids are everything to me.” I told him.
“Ditto.” He kissed me. I smiled and went upstairs with Harry close behind me. We got ready for bed, got in and cuddled before drifting off to sleep.
