Overworked

Maddie’s P.O.V
I finished all my work and went home. I got an evil stare from Jules on the way out. She was fine with me until a few weeks ago. I have no idea what’s changed. I checked my phone when I was at home.

I grabbed my keys off the side and my bag and went down to my car. I drove to Harry’s and unlocked the door. I walked in and the kids turned to look at me.
“Mum!” Adam shouted and got up from the table.
“Hey babe,” I hugged him. Lis and Brooklyn ran out of the kitchen and I hugged them too.
“Did you get my text?” Brooklyn asked.
“Yes baby. I’ve missed you too.” I spent a while with them and put Lis to bed before leaving.
“Bye.” Harry said.
“Bye, see you soon guys.” I hugged Brooklyn and Adam. They waved and I left and drove home.
I got back home and turned on the TV. I scrolled through the channels and when I reached E! News there was an article about me on.
“Singer Maddie Styles has just finished a set of 3 concerts in her hometown of California. She moved back to California with ex Harry Styles a few months ago after spending 13 years in London. The couple split up last week after claiming that they were taking a break from their marriage. They have 5 children together and have been spending time with them on their own; Maddie has brought herself an apartment and moved out of their family home. “@MAStyles: @ENews is it really any of your business what I do? No it isn’t so fuck off. I’m a normal woman living my life so just leave me alone please.” I sent it and a few minutes later tweeted again.
“@MAStyles: If anyone wants to send me hate then go ahead but I don’t read it anymore, learnt that lesson 12 years ago when I used to cry over it. Some of the shit you people say is horrid but go ahead, I don’t even care anymore.” I scrolled through my hate and laughed at it. One read:
“@MAStyles thinks she’s all that now that she’s single again, news flash love, you’re nothing now.” I thought about replying but that’s just giving them what they want.
“@MAStyles is the best person, she’s just sticking up for herself when people are hating on her, you all hate her because she broke up with Harry but guess what, I guarantee you’ve all got at least one of her songs and an item of clothing that she has designed. She’s not just someone’s wife, she proved that when she brought out her first single under her maiden name. She’s a singer and designer and if you don’t like that and only like her because of Harry you’re not a real fan.” I smiled at it and replied.
“@MAStyles: Very true, thank you. X” Then I saw a tweet from Harry.
“@Harry_Styles: Can everyone please stop tweeting me about Maddie. I don’t care what she does now. It’s not any of my business.” I felt a sharp pain in my heart but brushed it off.

I ignored it and locked my phone. I turned off the TV and went to bed.

Harry’s P.O.V

I sat looking at my phone waiting for Maddie’s reply but it never came.
To: My Sexy Baby
Maddie? Answer me. I’m getting worried now x
I sat for an hour and the reply still didn’t come. What if she’s done something stupid? I ignored my thoughts and went to be hoping that when I wake up there will be a reply and that she just fell asleep.
I woke up and the first thing I did was check my phone.

Yeah I know.
That was it, no kiss or anything. I got out of bed and woke up the kids. They got up and ready and I got Freya and Amelia ready. I went downstairs and said goodbye to Brooke, Adam and Lis and had something to eat. Then I went and got the girls and played with them. My phone went off in between and I jumped up to read it.

I smiled at her randomness and replied.

I put the twins down for a nap and went into the gym. I got on the treadmill and began running. I pressed play on the stereo and our latest album came on. I definitely didn’t put this in here. I normally have Maddie’s album. I took it out and put in Maddie’s and began working out to it. I must have worked out for hours because I heard the door close.
“Nice music.” Maddie laughed from the doorway.
“I know you listen to One Direction so what’s wrong with me listening to you?”
“Nothing, it’s just funny.” She said.
“You could always join me.” I turned to her and she was wearing a dress.
“Maybe not,” I smiled.
“Do you like it? It’s new. I designed it.” She span around.
“It’s gorgeous. What time is it?”
“1 o’clock. I only had a few meetings today so Isabelle said I could leave early.”
“Oh right, you taken your pill?”
“Yeah but I’m not having sex with you today. No matter how good you look working out to my album.”
“Why not?” I stopped doing weights and sat up.
“Because I don’t want to,”
“So you came here to tease me?”
“Basically yeah,” She giggled. I stood up and walked over to her. She had her keys in her hand so I took them off of her and put them on the highest shelf so she couldn’t reach them. “That’s cruel.” She said looking up at them.
“You came to tease me. That’s crueller. Take your shoes off.” I looked at her heels. She stepped out of them and I picked her up and took her into my bedroom. I put her down on the bed and took my shorts off so I was only in my boxers.
“I’m serious Harry. I’m not having sex with you today.” She pushed me away from her.
“I just wanna kiss you.” I lied. She looks amazing in that dress I just want to pull it off of her and fuck her. I licked my lips looking at her lying on the bed and pulled away sharply.
“What?” She questioned and sat up.
“Nothing,” I got off the bed. I must look like a right freak. I know that I have to pull away now before I rip the dress off along with her panties and thrust into her. I want her too bad.
“Okay...” She got off the bed too and went into the gym to put her shoes back on. “Harry. Get my keys.” She said. I went into the gym and got her keys down from the shelf. “Don’t bother coming to my apartment anymore.” She said and walked down the stairs.
“Fuck.” I ran after her and grabbed her arm.
“Get off of me Harry!” She shook me off and went to the door.
“Maddie wait. I pulled away because I had to. If I didn’t I would have fucked you and you don’t want that.” I explained.
“You don’t get it do you? I want you to fuck me so bad. You hurt me with your tweet and when you pulled away it made me feel like you’re not attracted to me anymore so just forget it Harry. We’re done. For good.” She opened the door.
“I’m sorry. I’ll fuck you now if you want.” I said.
“That moment has passed. Bye.” She walked out and I watched as she got into her car and sat there for a few minutes. She pulled her phone out of her bag and typed something in and then wiped her eyes and turned the car on. Is she crying? She put her head on the steering wheel and stayed there for a few minutes and then looked in the mirror and drove off. My phone started ringing and I looked at it hoping it was her. “Isabelle” came up on the screen. I sighed and answered it.
“What the fuck have you done to Maddie? She texted me saying you two were finished for good and now she’s not replying. What did you do?” Isabelle shouted.
“She walked out on me okay?” I shouted back.
“Why though? You two were fucking yesterday!”
“She said she didn’t want to have sex and then I pulled away from her and she walked out.”
“Did she say anything?”
“She said I hurt her with my tweet and when I pulled away it made her feel like I’m not attracted to her anymore but I am. Fuck, I screwed up! I should have just fucked her anyway!”
“I know you screwed up. I’ll talk to her alright. Text her and tell her you love her.” Isabelle instructed and a car door slammed outside. I looked out of the window and Maddie was walking back up the path.
“She’s back. Bye.” I said to Isabelle and hung up. Maddie unlocked the door and walked in.
“Fuck me. Now.” She said. I went over to her and shut the door and then slid her dress down her. She was wearing a red and black lace bra and matching panties.
“Fuck.” I admired her body.
“I said fuck me. Not stare at me.” She said. I pushed her up against the door and started making out with her. I pushed my hips against her and she groaned into my mouth. I pulled away and unclasped her bra and she let it slide down her arms. I moved her panties down her legs and she stepped out of them and pulled my boxers off. “Fuck me. Now.” She ordered again. I slammed myself into her and she moaned. “Downstairs. Now.” She said and I pulled out of her, picked her up and walked down the stairs to one of the bedrooms in the basement. I put her down on the bed and she pulled me onto her. “You really hurt me.” She said.
“I’m sorry baby.” I apologised.
“You can only make up for it with one thing.” She growled and I slammed myself into her. “Keep going.” She said. I kept thrusting into her and she dug her nails into my back. She flexed her hips and I went deeper. “Fuck Harry.” She panted. I pulled out and lay on my back and she got on top and began riding me.
“You look so fucking sexy when you’re riding me.” I told her.
“I think the mascara down my face really finishes off the look.” She joked.
“I’m sorry.” I said again.
“Forget it. We have about half an hour until the kids get back so we need to hurry up.” She replied and leant down to make out with me. She carried on riding me and I was so close. I flexed my hips and that was her gone. She let go with a groan and I joined her. She moved up and down a few more times and then collapsed on top of me.
“Hey, I wore you out.” I kissed her forehead.
“Yeah you did. Go get my clothes.” She got off of me and lay down. I went upstairs and grabbed her stuff and put my boxers on and went back downstairs. She put her lingerie and dress back on and then went to fix her makeup. I went upstairs and put my shorts back on and went downstairs again. She came back and began making out with me. We made out on and off for a while and then went upstairs and into the dining room. We sat down and she made out with me again when we heard the door open. She pushed me away from her and stood up. I wiped my mouth and walked into the kitchen.
“Mum!!” Brooklyn ran to her.
“Hey,” Maddie hugged her.
“What are you doing here?” She asked.
“I came to see you guys.” Maddie lied. I washed the lipstick off my lips and then pretended that I was doing the dishes. The doorbell went and Adam went to answer it. I heard Liam ask him where I was and then he came into the kitchen.
“Your tweet yesterday was harsh.” Liam scolded me.
“It’s true.” I pulled a dish out of the bowl.
“Well she’s in there with your children; I bet she hasn’t spoken to you since she got here.” Liam pointed to the dining room.
“What does it matter? We’re not together anymore.”
“Maybe not but if I was like this with Danielle I wouldn’t be tweeting what you did. It probably really upset her.”
“She doesn’t give a shit. She only cares about the kids.”
“Like she should. Does she know about tour?”
“It’s none of her business.”
“So if I go and tell her right now she’ll be fine with it?”
“Yeah,” I said.
“Fine,” He walked into the dining room. Shit. She’s gonna hate me. “I take it you’ll be living here when we’re touring?” Liam said to Maddie. I walked to the doorway and Maddie gave me the coldest glare ever.
“Yeah, my apartment isn’t big enough for all of them.” Maddie said holding Lis.
“Oh right. Well I’ve got to get home. See you soon Maddie.” Liam replied and left. Maddie totally ignored me and went back to being with the kids. I heard her go upstairs to the twins and the others were all in the living room so I followed after her.
“I can explain.” I said.
“I don’t care. Just don’t expect me to sleep with you anymore.”
“C’mon Maddie, he wanted to see if you’d overreact. He was having a go at me for my tweet.”
“Harry. You don’t understand. I love you, so much. When you tweeted that, it hurt. Even if we had split up properly it would hurt. You can’t just fucking dismiss me. And then you don’t tell me that you’re going on tour? How long for?”
“Only two weeks. It’s not for a month yet so I didn’t think there was much point in me telling you.”
“Whatever. We’re gonna cut down on the sex anyway. My body can’t take it every day.” She said with a slight smirk.
“Okay, that’s fine. You’re not mad?”
“I am a bit but can I just remind you that you’ve got no top on so I’m kind of turned on right now.” She picked up Freya.
“Oh right, sorry, I’ll go put one on.”
“Don’t bother. I like your abs.” She giggled and rocked Freya.
“I like your boobs.”
“This isn’t compliment body time.” She said smiling at Freya.
“You’re an amazing Mum.” I told her.
“Thanks. You’re an okay-ish dad.” She smirked and tickled Freya.
“Oh thanks.” I laughed.
“I’m joking. You’re an amazing dad.” She said. “Can you go get me a couple of bottles of milk?” She asked.
“Why not breast feed them?”
“Because my boobs ache from you for one, and they need to get used to bottles now that I don’t live here anymore.” I laughed at her response and went downstairs. I sorted out two bottles of milk and took them up to her. “Thanks.” She smiled and took one from me and began feeding Freya.
“Is it wrong to have a favourite child?” She questioned looking up.
“Probably, why, which one is your favourite?” I laughed at her.
“Freya. And Lis.” She told me.
“Why?”
“Because Freya is adorable and Lis is just like me. Also, she’s four and still relies on us and I love that.” Maddie explained.
“Oh right. Adam is my favourite.”
“Let me guess, because he’s a boy?”
“Yeah,” I smiled.
“He’s the only boy; it’s cool to have a mini me. You have 4, it’s not fair.” I said.
“We could try for 3 more boys?” “You do not want 8 kids.” I replied.
“What if I do?”
“Then I’m worried because our house isn’t big enough.” I told her.
“Maybe in a few years we can have more?”
“Sure,” I agreed.
“I’m just gonna feed Amelia and then I’m gonna go home. I need to go shopping.” She told me.
“Okay baby.” I said and she put Freya back in her crib and picked up Amelia. I handed her the other bottle of milk and she sat down and fed Amelia. She finished and got up. She put Amelia back in the crib and hugged me.
“I’ll see you soon.” She kissed my cheek and went downstairs. I heard her saying goodbye to the kids and then the door shut and the car drove off. I went downstairs and they were all talking about Maddie.
“Dad, why can’t you get back with her?” Adam asked.
“I don’t know son, I don’t know.” I told him and sat down with them. Lis sat on my lap and we watched TV. I made their dinner and then went upstairs and put Lis to bed.

Long chapter for you guys! Maddie changes her mind every second! First she doesn't want to see him again and then she's practically begging for it, I have made her seem reaaaaaally desperate...
You know what? I give up with an updating schedule because I just can't do it! I was out from 6-7.30 yesterday and then 8-10 so I'm really sorry that I didn't update and I'm going to do double updates loads from now on because I really want to get this story uploaded because I'm writing so much exciting stuff for it at the moment but that's like 50 chapters away so I'm going to try and update at every free moment I have so expect more updates! (And don't kill me if I forget, I'm sure none of you are that bothered anyway)
