Overworked

Harry’s P.O.V
“Do we have to move to California?” Adam moaned. I kinda guessed that that was coming. He’d wait to get me alone and then start trying to persuade me not to move to California.
“Yes mate, your mum wants to and it’s my job to keep her happy. I know you’re scared that you’re not going to have any friends but Sam and Kayleigh are coming too. Everyone is.” I told him.
“I know but I don’t want to go to school with Americans.” He said and I laughed. That’s a new one.
“I think you’re forgetting that your mother is American making you half American.” I said.
“I don’t want to move away Dad.” Brooke chimed in. I was waiting for that too. How the hell am I going to drag them on that plane?
“If you don’t like it, we’ll come back. I’m sure it will be fine. Plus, the weather is a lot better over there.” I sighed turning on the windscreen wipers to clear the raindrops away. “We don’t mention this to Mum okay? She’s got enough on her plate at the moment.” I said and they nodded. I pulled up outside Niall and Belle’s house which isn’t on our estate because Belle wanted to live near her parents and the kids climbed out. I followed after them and rang the doorbell to the massive house. Belle answered it looking shattered.
“Oh hi, come in,” She said running her hands through her hair, which is now brown. The kids ran inside and I hugged her.
“You alright?” I asked.
“Yeah, just tired. I’m sure you’ll be the same tomorrow after a night with two babies.” She laughed.
“Oi Styles! Get off my wife will ya?” Niall shouted emerging from the games room and I laughed.
“Possessive much,” I said.
“You have your own wife,” He pointed out. And I will never forget that. My gorgeous girl.
“I know, do you have any idea where my children are?” I looked around for them.
“They’re with Drew in the games room.” He said and I nodded. We all sat down on the couch.
“So where’s your lovely wife?” Belle questioned.
“At home with the twins, Lis wanted to come and see you two so I decided to give Maddie a break and bring the kids out.” I said.
“Oh right okay. I think she probably wanted to see Drew more than us but oh well.” Niall laughed his all too famous laugh.
“What do you mean?” I’m ultimately confused right now. What is he talking about?
“Our son has quite a crush on your daughter and she returns the crush.” Belle explained and I laughed sitting back.
“I’m cool with that.”
“You would be,” Niall laughed again.
“So, Adam and Kayleigh, Lis and Drew, who’s Brooklyn gonna fall for?” Belle said.
“Adam is not with Kayleigh!” I replied, loudly. He probably heard me but then again, the music they’re listening to is quite loud.
“Mm, you keep believing that.” They both said.
“You really think Louis would let his only daughter near a Styles? You know our reputation.” I raised my eyebrows at them. Louis is way too protective of Kayleigh to let her near Adam. Eleanor would probably be all for it but Louis would draw the line way before that.
“I guess not but it could be a secret relationship.”
“They’re ten for god sake.” I said and started to laugh uncontrollably at the thought of 2 ten year olds in a secret relationship. It would be all round school in seconds. We talked for a bit and then my phone buzzed; it was a call from Maddie. I answered it. “Hey babe, what’s the matter?”
“Nothing, I just wanted to know what time you’re going to be back because I want to start dinner whilst Amelia and Freya are asleep.” She replied. I looked at the time and realised we’d already been here for an hour. God that went fast.
“Urm, we’ll leave in about 5 minutes so about 15 minutes gorgeous.” I told her.
“Okay, see you soon. Love you,” she said.
“Love you too,” I responded and hung up. “We’re gonna get going now.” I stood up.
“Alright mate, I’ll see you soon yeah?” Niall said.
“Yeah, you’ll have to come round and meet the twins.” I walked into the games room to get the kids. Lis hugged Drew goodbye and then we left. They got into the car and I drove home with them chatting in the back. It’s amazing how little minds work. We pulled up in the driveway and the kids jumped out of the car and ran into the house. I followed after then and Maddie was standing cooking dinner. “What you making gorgeous?” I asked hugging her from behind.
“Dinner,” She teased.
“I know that, what’s for dinner?” I laughed.
“Chicken, chips and beans,” She said. I nodded and walked into the living room. The kids were fighting over a game.
“Guys guys, calm. None of you are playing. Go and get ready for dinner.” I said taking the game off of them. They groaned and went to various bathrooms to wash their hands. I went to Maddie and she was serving the dinner. I washed my hands in the kitchen sink and then laid the table. She put the children’s plates in their normal seats, gave me mine and then called the kids. They all ran downstairs and started to eat. Maddie sat down next to me and ate her dinner too and then washed everything up. “You do too much,” I told her kissing her neck.
“No I don’t. I’m a mum, it’s my job.” She said pushing me away. I groaned and she laughed drying the dishes. “Ask the kids if they want pudding.” She instructed and I went into the dining room. I asked and they all shook their heads.
“I’m full.” Brooke said and I nodded and told Maddie.
“Alright, well I’m going to go and feed the twins and put them to sleep seeing as they woke up when you were out. You can sort Lis out tonight and get the other two in bed and then we can spend some time together.” She smiled and dried her hands. I’m really worried that she’s doing too much but she doesn’t seem to mind so I agreed and she walked upstairs.

Adding a little Niall in there. And I thought considering Ariana Grande changed her hair colour to brown, Belle should too.
