Chapter 3 Ellies p.o.v still shaken by the phone call I just had with my “father” whatever you wanna call him I start to get lost into deep thought ….what if my real parents are mean wheat if they hit me what if they just don’t want me WHAT IF THEY KILL ME OR RAPE ME…..I start kinda over reacting until I her someone’s voice “miss Stirling are you off your phone please come back into class ,miss Stirling?” I wake from my thought “mhm yes sir sorry” I walk back into class with a few eyes staring at me so I just sit down and finish my test. I finished before the bell went so Im just sitting watching the clock tick tock tick tock tick tock *riiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggg* finally the bell goes I rush out of the classroom to go meet my friends before im taken away for a week somewhere “oi! Ellie was up?” I hear someone talking to me I turn around to find one of my guy friends “oh hey Jesus hah” everyone calls him Jesus because of his shoulder length slightly curly hair he smiles and we start walking towards our group of friends It kinda started getting awkward so I decide to start a conversation “sooo are you gonna go down with some of the guys (by guys im mean girls too) For a ya know ‘smoke’?” “Ellie im not like that stop thinking I will be” I start thinking again yeah my group of friends half of them are drugos so they smoke weed it being Australia lots of people my age do but im not one of them I know it’s bad for me “yeah ok jesuussss im sorry but guess what?” “what!?” he looks slightly excited thinking my ‘news’ would be good “im probably not gonna be at school for the week” he stared at me for a while until he asked all about it so I told him. ---------------------------during last period of the school day------------------------------------------ I was finishing a worksheet during English when someone came to the door. Thoughts started going through my mind …crap this is it im gonna meet them ahhhh….. the teacher notices a grade twelve standing at the door “yes? May I help you?” “ahh yeah Ellie Stirling is needed to come to the office” why is she coming back?” “ah no she going home early” I shuffle out of my seat grab my books and walk out the door with the grade twelve beside me “hey um this may come of weird but who is the guy picking you up he’s kinda hot” she looks so desperate to know so I just reply quietly “I don’t know” she looks confused but looks away till we arrive at the front office door “well bye have fun going home early” the grade twelve walks the opposite direction. I grab the handle and think …this is it….. I hold tight of the handle and pull the door open revealing some students sitting on chairs looking guilty and a young man probably in his twenties standing while on the phone to someone he doesn’t notice me walk in. I walk up to the bench/desk the receptionist looks up off her phone “hi im supposed to be going home early” I ask nervously “oh yeah you ...i just need you t-“ she was cut off by the 20ish year old interrupting her “its ok im the one taking her thanks” he smiles his smile is so happy he kinda looks like me but he cant be my dad hah my thoughts are interrupted by him speaking “so you must be ellie Stirling hi im Louis”
