My Secret

*Max's P.O.V*

I woke up five minutes later to see everyone circled around me. They were talking in low voices, probably not wanting me to hear them. I struggled to hear them but when I could almost make out a sentence, Liam looked down at me and saw that I was awake.

He cleared his throat, "Max, your up!"

I looked at him suspiciously, without answering to him. I wanted to know what they were talking about, and I really couldn't speak. I couldn't gather enough air. Luke stared at me, reading my thoughts.

"Look, I can't speak. So your gonna have to translate, all right?" I thought.

Luke nodded, "Max can't speak. So I'm translating for her."

"Ask Calum when I should go put on my gloves for another match." I thought.

"Calum, when should she get ready for her next match?" Luke repeats.

"Rest for five more minutes and then get ready." Calum said.

I nodded and thought, "All right. Go set the arena up now."

*After I finished the last of my rounds*

I put my hands on my knees and panted. Sweat from my forehead had oozed down my face and landed on my lips. I licked away the sweat and spat out it's saltiness. I got up from my position and walked over to my bag. It was already packed and ready to go. Just then, hands slithered around my waist and pulled me to it's torso.

"I packed it up for you. We can head out and go home." Liam said.

I nodded and hugged him tightly while nuzzling my head in his chest. He picked up my bag and we headed off to my car. Liam got into the drivers seat and drove us towards home. Instead of taking a right on an intersection, he kept going straight. At this point I could talk, but only in short sentences.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"You'll see." Liam replied.

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY! I haven't updated in months! I felt/feel really guilty! So, I made a chapter even though I'm tired. I've had a ton (and when I mean a ton, I MEAN A TON) of drama in my family these past months, also having troubles/mixed feelings about a boy (possibly my crush *wink, wink*) and I couldn't update cause I was either busy, or had to relax cause I don't want the drama to get into my head. Anyway, here's a chapter. (FINALLY!)
