The Stay-away Plan
The bell rang as I stepped into class. I took a seat next to the blond girl, Hannah. She looked at me and I return her smile with a slightly weaker one. I looked over to the door as Charlie entered. She took a sit at the other far end of the class, opposite from where I am sitting. I stared at her the whole time as she took her sit, she didn’t even turn to my direction to look at me. It was the same for the whole period, I was staring at her most of the time. As soon as the bell rang and we were dismissed, she was the first one to leave. She was avoiding me, I knew it. I took all my books, not bothering to place them back into my bag and rushed out class, the hall was crowded and I couldn’t see her. I did not have the chance to bump into her for the rest of the day, we did not have any other same classes for the rest of the day. Even in the hall, I hadn’t have the chance to spot her. This girl sure does one hell of a job in avoiding.
Charlotte’s POV
I woke up slightly late, again. I dressed and started rushing to school. Thoughts from yesterday flooded my mind again and tears were forming again. I reached class just as the first bell rang. Niall was sitting at the left corner in class. I looked at him as he just gazed out the window with a blank expression. I hurriedly look away, knowing he would look over anytime soon. I walked over and took a sit at the right end of the class. I didn’t dare to look over at Niall, I know he was staring, his stares were burning holes in my back. I didn’t know what will happen if I did turn around and our eyes meet. The bell was going to ring soon, I started packing up my stuff. I rushed out out of class as soon as we were dismissed. I tried to stay out of his way the whole day, I went to the library during recess with my empty stomach only to have it growling. My plan was going so well! Yeah right, I was almost done for the day.
Niall's P.O.V
I was waiting at the school gate for a certain girl when I spotted her walking out of the school doors. She was heading for the back gate at a fast pace. I shoved through the whole crowd of students coming from the opposite direction. I tried calling her name, but she didn't hear me over all these noise. I finally caught up to her by running. I tapped her on the shoulder, she was shocked when she turn around.
"Hi" I greeted her
"Hey, Niall" She smiled at me.
